Two- Person Management Team | Self Storage Facility - Corvallis, OR

We have a position for a motivated and independent TEAM with an emphasis on customer service and professional managers with similar values as the company with a commitment to maintain a clean, secure and well-maintained facility. Both members of the TEAM need to be familiar with the entire scope of the operations. We are seeking a team to apply together for our facility located in Corvallis, Or.
This position offers:
Team Salary $48,000 (Each team member must be willing to work 42.5 hrs per week)
On Site Housing, 2 bed/1bath, utilities paid, paid storage unit for personal belongings Work with your partner/team member
Great hours - work day shift only
Paid 1 week Training One week paid vacation first two years /two weeks each year after Medical benefits after 60 days employment
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage day-to-day operations of the facility
Maintain an exceptionally clean facility, including outside maintenance
Greet customers and others in a professional manner Show, Rent and clean units
Maintain financial reporting and bookkeeping systems provided by the employer
Perform market surveys
Answer the telephone in a professional manner
Make collection calls to late tenants
Process liens and auctions when necessary
Perform daily lock check and patrol facility on a continual basis daily
Communicate facility issues with Director of Property Management in a timely manner
Clean public restroom and stock with supplies as needed
Clean facility, including sweeping, picking up trash and cigarette butts, using the blower, mop, pressure wash etc.
Job Requirements:
Must be willing to live on site in apartment provided Daily surveillance of property to ensure protection of customers' stored possessions, as well as company property and buildings. Must be able to enthusiastically sell company products and services in person and on the telephone
Must be willing to work Monday - Friday with Saturday and Sunday off.
Must pass a detailed background check, drug (including THC), including a DMV check
Must be proficient in MS Windows, Excel and Word. Storage Commander software experience is a PLUS!
Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8.5 hours per day
Must be able to bend, twist and lift 45 lbs
Must abide by company dress code at all times Any other duties designated by the Director of Property Management or Owner

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Classification: Seasonal, Part-Time or Full-Time (variable hours, specific amount not guaranteed)
Location: Campgrounds throughout the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah
Site Provided for Position: Yes
Wage: $10.35 per hour
Schedule: Variable hours based on location needs – one day off per week, weekends required. Total number of hours may fluctuate from week to week.
COMPANY VEHICLE:
Provided for some hosts, depending on sites. If required, employee must possess a valid driver license with a clean 3-year driving history and no DUI convictions in the past 10 years.
ABOUT YOU:

Own a well-maintained RV/camper/etc. suitable to stay in for the season (subject to approval by Forest Service).

Experience in the recreation industry preferred

JOB DUTIES:

Greet arriving guests, assist with check-in and check-out
-
Take an active role in seeing that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used appropriately

Clean fire pits, bear-lockers campsites, parking areas, and roadways
-
Paint/clean picnic tables as needed
-
Clean restrooms as per housekeeping schedule
-
Ensure vehicle procedures are followed in the use of assigned vehicles
-
Know, understand, and follow established rules and standards for housekeeping and sanitation
-
Monitor campground loop and handle any concerns or questions from guests
-
Sell company-provided firewood, if applicable to location
-
Be a friendly and helpful resource to visitors
-
Enforce campground rules and regulations
-
Resolve conflicts among campers and report problems to management as needed

Notify supervisor immediately any time a guest is not satisfied with their experience

Collect payment from campers and envelopes from fee tubes
