DUTIES:

Cottage Parents/ Relief Cottage Parents - Palatka, FL

Job Description
We are currently recruiting Christian married couples/families to provide a home environment for 6-10 boys as live-in house parents, (actually called “cottage-parents”). We are currently have available permanent positions for relief cottage parents. These positions provide a competitive salary, a generous on-off schedule, a private attached apartment, as well as a secondary staff home to use during time off periods. Benefits also include health insurance earned vacation time and other incidental benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide a stable Christian home environment for 6-10 boys as live-in house parents, (actually called “cottage-parents”). Regular day-to-day activities including providing a good breakfast, transporting them to and from the local schools in 15 passenger vans. Taking them to Dr./Dentist appointments etc. After school needs include helping with homework, supervising and assisting with after-school chores such as cleaning, (some boys will work with the ranch animals, and some with the vehicle program) mowing, weed-eating, and spraying. Supervising and assisting with evening activities such as bike-riding, skate-boarding, basketball, fishing, swimming, etc. The evening meal is served in the dining hall, and the entire ranch eats together as a family every evening Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Applicants for cottage and relief cottage parents must be U.S. Citizens with a valid drivers license, a Christian married couple (man/woman married at least 3 years) with a strong faith and marriage, who possess a love for living with, and raising children and adolescents. Cottage parents have to be joyful and encouraging, but also firm in discipline, while providing an environment that makes the child feel loved and part of an active Christian family.
Couples with existing families of up to, but not exceeding four children are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Previous child-care experience and/or college degrees are beneficial, but not mandatory.
FEATURED JOB OPENING: Work Camping Couples - Ellensburg, WA

We need work camper couples and work camping managing couples for Yakima River RV Park begining April through September of 2021. The Park is quiet, clean, gated and situated on a small 40-acre ranch on the Yakima River. These positions require work campers with good computer skills, people skills, outgoing and positive personalities to act as part-time camp hosts in customer service, Park maintenance and overseeing of the Park as needed.
Camp hosts assist in making reservations from emails, phone requests and drive-ins, taking credit card payments, greeting guests and providing general customer service. During Covid, our guests call when they arrive at the gate or come up to the screened window on the porch of the office, as we are limiting contact with the public. Guests are escorted to thier site and given some simple instructions. The maintenance involves landscaping, raking, grass mowing, branch trimming, weeding and site cleanup and irrigation.
Work campers are given a pull-through site with 50 amp power, water, septic hookup, picnic table, firepit, and WiFi. An arrival bonus and larger departure bonus will be given to each couple completing the season. Work camping couples work the same 5 1/2 hour shifts four days and have six days off on a ten-day cycle. Managing couples work the same as above plus one day of only managing and have five days off. Pay options apply for the Managing couples.

An executive couple with a secondary residence in Purchase, NY and a history of long-term staff seeks to hire an experienced Domestic Couple to provide full-time housekeeping and property caretaking duties at their fully-staffed home, as their couple of many years has retired. Past experience working in a fine residence required. The ideal candidates will be hard-working, have great attention to detail, and will love dogs.
Primary responsibilities for the couple will include:
- Daily hands-on cleaning of the residence along with additional housekeeper
- Laundry duties, fine wardrobe care, and dry cleaning
- Assisting the chef and other staff with events
- Organizational projects
- Maintaining the upkeep of the grounds including: landscaping, snow removal, pool and tennis court care

This is a full-time, year-round position, with a general Monday through Friday schedule, to include some evening and weekend hours. Must be flexible to work in the Hamptons for 6 weeks each summer. Separate accommodations on the property are provided for the couple. Joint compensation of $130,000 - $150,000 offered depending on experience, plus a full benefits package.
Apartment Manager Couple - Redding, CA

Looking for a couple to manage a 44+ complex in Redding, Ca. Must have good people skills and be self starters. Must live on site and do all aspects of the job. which include but not limited to, collecting rents , showing and renting units, good customer relations with tenants, painting and cleaning units, keeping laundry room clean, cleaning the pool and keeping the grounds clean. Light maintenance, needs to at least know how to change plugs, switches and fixtures, some plumbing is also required.

Residential Direct Care Staff - Orange Park, FL

BASCA's mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Northeast Florida.
Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Direct Care Staff couple to work a 7 day on - 7 day off shift in a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. Sleeping overnight in the house while on duty is required. Pay is $9.50 per hour, with automatic overtime of 16 hours per week. Benefits include health insurance, vacation time, comfortable sleeping quarters while on duty, and meals and vehicle use while on duty.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have at least one year of experience in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or childcare setting or at least one year working with persons with a developmental disability. - OR -Successfully completed college, vocational, or technical training equal to 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or 720 classroom hours in special education, mental health, counseling, guidance, social work, or health and rehabilitative services can substitute for the required experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Pass state and local background screenings and drug test
- complete free APD pre-hire training online (we will provide instructions)
Duties include:
- Supervising/teaching daily living skills, providing family support and supervision.
- Coordinating and providing transportation to medical appointments, community activities, church, etc.
- Dispensing medications. Maintaining accurate inventories and record keeping.
- Maintaining accurate daily/weekly/monthly records.
- General facility supervision; including shopping, meal planning and preparation, general housekeeping, minor repairs and scheduling other maintenance.
