7 Room Victorian Gem in Denver is hiring an experienced RESIDENT INNKEEPER COUPLE to run our Bed & Breakfast. JUNE start date. Long Term. We offer excellent hospitality and sparkling rooms - a memorable escape for guests.
Work closely with local owners and a part time Housekeeper.
Responsibilities include the full scope of day-to-day operations:
- housekeeping & general cleaning
- laundry
- continental breakfast
- guest service
- reservation management (computer literacy required)
- inventory / purchasing (reliable vehicle & valid DL required)
- property management & maintenance
- help with group reservations & private events.
We operate sustainably: prioritize composting & recycling, maintain houseplants in all rooms & an organic veg + flower garden.
Guest rooms on all 3 floors, plus basement laundry and no elevator- candidates must have good mobility
Compensation = Salary + On Site Lodging/Utilities/Parking + PTO + extras.

Amarillo Children's Home seeks a married husband and wife to work together, serving as House Parents for children/teens from backgrounds of abuse and neglect. We offer a robust salary and benefits package totaling $98,000/year per couple, including housing and relocation assistance.
Since 1924, Amarillo Children's Home has helped children thrive in a family-oriented Christian setting. Our mission is to restore the identity of children that they may realize their great value and be a blessing to others. Our House Parents serve as parents to a group of 6-8 children ages K-12. They take children to school and church, prepare meals, help with homework, teach life skills, take the family on vacation, and much more. They're the ones who challenge and encourage children to become their best.
- Salary plus housing, health insurance and other benefits totals $98,000/couple. This includes paid salary of $53,000/couple/year plus all added benefits.

Qualifications: Applicants must be a legally married husband and wife willing to relocate to Amarillo. Qualified applicants will demonstrate sound judgment and good moral character, will have the ability to work with groups of youth from traumatic backgrounds, and will be able to serve as a role model for youth.
Additionally, applicants must be 21 + years of age, fluent in English, possess a valid drivers' license and good driving record, pass drug and tuberculosis screenings, and pass thorough background checks. Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. College coursework in social work, psychology, education or related is preferred. Experience working with youth is strongly preferred.
House Parents may have up to two of their own children and one pet living on campus with them in their apartment, that includes a full kitchen, living area, two bedrooms and bathroom.
Due to requirements of the interview process, we are unable to consider candidates who live outside of the United States.
House Parent Job Duties include
- Provide supervision and emotional safety for youth
- Provide for the emotional needs of youth by providing praise, empathy, optimism, and respect
- Provide for the social needs of youth by teaching social skills and fostering healthy relationships
- Provide for the spiritual needs of youth by participating as a Christian example on and off campus, encouraging youth’s spiritual growth, participate in regular spiritual devotionals, and when on duty at Amarillo Children’s Home, attend church with the cottage youth regularly.
- Provide for the academic and vocational development of youth by working with school personnel, establishing specific goals, and assisting youth in achieving their goals.
- Provide helpful feedback related to the youth’s progress in accordance with their goals and ACH's program
- Manage funds for the home including a checking account and cash for youth activities. Prepare regular accounting and reports for funds.
- Maintain the cleanliness of cottages that includes the inside and outside locations in compliance with state contract and minimum standard requirements, health standards, and administration expectations so that a positive image is presented
- Provide transportation for youth in care on a regular basis, including to school, work, extracurricular activities, medical appointments, and other activities as needed
- Maintain records and documentation as required by state contract and minimum standards, health standards, and ACH expectations

As a Community Property Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing all day-to-day operations for this beautiful all-age community. Ideal candidates will have experience in property management within the manufactured housing industry; however, prior experience in managing apartment and condominium associations will also contribute to the success of our community managers. Candidates must possess strong leadership and organizational skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team. Couples are needed and encouraged to apply.
The best candidate for the position will be a team that can oversee the community's office and maintenance responsibilities. The office work includes resident relations, depositing rents, issuing compliance notices, and other relevant documents, as well as screening residents, preparing leases for new residents, ensuring rule compliance, organizing events, filing paperwork, answering phones and emails, and performing general office tasks. Maintenance requires keeping the grounds in good condition, using the rider to mow lawns, maintaining the entrance to the community, and ensuring it looks fresh. Mowing and keeping any empty lots clear, and ensuring the curb appeal for the park-owned homes is always lovely and welcoming.
This community does have a pool, so experience with pool maintenance is invaluable. Becoming an Oregon-certified pool operator is required, and the community covers all costs. The pool is outdoors and only open between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend.
