Qualifications

What This Job IS — And What It’s Definitely NOT

This Job IS For You If…

You’re a hospitality pro with at least 3 years of hands-on experience leading teams in cleaning, laundry, or guest services.

You're a systems thinker—you thrive on schedules, checklists, and making sure things run like clockwork.

You're physically fit and energized by moving between cabins, properties, and project sites daily.

You have the grit and flexibility to step in when someone calls out—yes, that includes folding towels or resetting a room when needed.

You take ownership of quality—from laundry freshness to perfectly staged cabins, nothing escapes your eye.

You’re a natural people leader—able to hire, coach, and occasionally let go of staff to maintain high standards.

You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves—whether it’s scheduling a vendor, changing a lightbulb, or patching a scuff in the wall.

You’re ready to embrace small-town life in Pine or Strawberry, AZ and make a real difference in a place where your work matters.

You’re available for after-hours guest support and can calmly guide someone through a lockbox situation or late-night check-in hiccup.

You're game to host summer firepit or movie nights, helping guests feel welcome while laundry spins in the background.

This Job ISN’T For You If…

You’re looking for a Monday–Friday desk job or prefer an office setting over active, hands-on work.

You expect to delegate everything and aren’t willing to cover a shift or step in when needed.

You’re uncomfortable with after-hours texts or calls—especially in peak summer months when guests occasionally need help.

You don’t want to relocate to a small town or aren’t ready to commit to the lifestyle Pine/Strawberry offers.

You’re not confident in hiring, training, or letting go of team members to keep standards high.

You’re not mechanically inclined or unwilling to get involved in simple repairs or vendor coordination.

You want to be in charge of bookings, guest communications, finances, or marketing—those are handled by our Scottsdale office.

You struggle to lead with accountability, follow through, or manage a small team with pride and consistency.
