MAINTENANCE DUTIES: • Mowing lawn • Cleaning and maintaining of the pool • Keeping common areas clean • Keeping weeds in check • Opening and closing of the clubhouse • Enforcing community rules • Checking and maintaining equipment • Minor repairs as needed and possible mobile home repairs.
REQUIREMENTS: • Must live on site in managers home (rent free) • Must pass background check • Must have related experience • Must have valid driver license • Must be a self starter • Position is for two • No pets
SALARY: $2,600 per month for couple Plus free rent and utilities. +sales commissions

This couple will divide duties: one person will manage the office, while the other manages the grounds and maintenance. OFFICE
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the RV and campground community, including community relations and staff supervision
• Collect rent and manage eviction process as necessary
• Advertise and fill vacancies and rentals to ensure 100% park occupancy
• Complete monthly reporting, including utility calculations
• Ensure up-to-date digital tenant files
• Enforce community rules and regulations, including reminding tenants and giving out notices
• Maintain wonderful community atmosphere by promoting positive resident relations
MAINTENANCE
• Manage park appearances by up-keeping common areas, restrooms and recreational areas, and keeping them free of trash/debris
• Maintain all community landscaping: mowing, weeding, planting, leaf removal, etc.
• Conduct monthly utility meter readings
• Provide outstanding customer service to community members and vendors
• Cover all community maintenance, including (but not limited to): light remodeling, painting, carpet, appliance repair, door installation, bathroom fixtures, light interior plumbing
• Inspect property grounds and maintain property equipment daily
• Ensure curb appeal is maintained to the highest degree at all times

OFFICE
• 2+ years property management experience
• Previous RV or mobile home park experience desired
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, vendors, employees and supervisors
• EXTREMELY comfortable with computers and computer programs, including e-mail, Microsoft Office, scanning, printing, PDFs
• Ability to read and write effectively
• Self-starter needing little day-to-day supervision
MAINTENANCE
• 2+ years property management experience in maintenance
• Must have excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work with and manage all types of individuals
• Must multi-task and be able to properly prioritize tasks
• Previous experience in light remodeling, electric & plumbing
• Attention to detail and high standards in regards to community aesthetics
• Self-starter needing little day-to-day supervision

Manufactured Home Community looking for a Management Couple - Traverse City, MI

Spend your summer on the river! - Welaka, FL
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We will need several workamper couples beginning April 1, 2018 and staying through November 1, 2018. Dates are negotiable. (WE DO NOT HAVE NEED OF WINTER HELP AT THIS TIME).
We are a small, pleasant “Old Florida” resort with a pool heated during chilly weather and cooled during hot spells, a huge community spa, 8 gorgeous cottages and 19 full hookup RV sites in the rural town of Welaka. The resort is situated on a bluff over the St. John’s River with a view of the Ocala National Forest directly across the river.
In exchange for working, we offer a full hookup site with paid electricity, free wi fi and ½ price at our Boathouse Bar on the river. (Please note that we do not offer monetary compensation).
Schedules are made on Friday based on the number of cottages we need to clean, so there are not set work days. We are always off on Saturdays and do try to schedule couples together. Some weeks we work fewer hours & others more, but hours would average 20 hours per week per couple, so there is plenty of time for fishing, shopping, touring the area or just floating in the pool. Many afternoons are spent at the pool with other workampers and guests.
In most cases, the gentlemen handle outdoor light maintenance such as pool cleaning, blowing leaves off cottage porches, checking hot tubs, etc. Ladies spend most of their hours cleaning our beautiful cottages.
On Sunday afternoons from March through mid-November, we have the grill open at the Boathouse Bar serving chicken & fish sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, brats & hot dogs. The bar is also open for beautiful sunsets on Friday & Saturday evenings when we serve light snacks such as pizza, hummus and toasted pita bread, salsa & chips or fish dip and crackers.
