Facility Manager Team - Central Valley of California, CA

Position Summary:We are looking for qualified Facility Manager Team(s) of two people. Under general supervision, the Facility Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of one of our self-storage facilities. Facility Managers are expected to operate and maintain the facility with the upmost care and quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• General office and clerical skills including telephone sales, record keeping, computer bookkeeping, rentals, vacates, transfers, and other customer service needs
• Collection of money from customers and bank deposits
• General maintenance and upkeep of the physical appearance of the property including sweeping, weed control, painting, cleaning, minor door and/or building repairs, trash removal, and replacement of accessible light bulbs
• Cleaning and general upkeep of the property residence, office, and restrooms
• Understanding and compliance with all operational policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Property Operations Manuals
• Merchandise sales, inventory, and supply requisitions
• Upkeep and care of company equipment as necessary
May also include:
• Assistance with delinquent tenant process including customer mailings, over-locking units, cutting locks, inventories, and sales.
• Conducting business before or after established hours in order to accommodate unique customer needs
Required Qualifications:
Both members of the Facility Manager Team must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills- both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Windows based personal computer applications
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents such as rental agreements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and policy manuals
• Basic mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense, good judgement and offer solutions in dealing with problems• Must be organized, efficient, and professional at all times
• Must be reliable, honest, and trustworthy
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous self-storage experience
Workamper Couples Needed Summer 2018 - Keystone, SD

Wanted: Summer Season 2018. We are looking for workcamper couples who are physically fit, enjoy working hard, having fun and exploring the Black Hills of SD. We are a busy full service, family oriented campground, located in a beautiful valley in the Black Hills of SD. The campground sits on 23 acres between Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park, on the scenic Iron Mountain Road. Deer, turkey and big horn sheep are regular visitors to our campground.
Our positions include: housekeeping, store (reservations & retail), maintenance and café.
Housekeeping: Among other duties that could be assigned, this position involves cleaning and inventorying 19 cabins upon guest checkout, daily towel exchange, laundry, daily cleaning of shower house and toilet trailer.
Store: These positions require computer literacy as this role involves taking reservations on Campground Automation software system and QB POS registers for store purchases. Store positions must be able to multitask as they are responsible for guest relations, reservations, store sales, inventory control, check-ins and guest information. Candidates must be able to work well with others and have great customer service skills.
Maintenance: This position is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, including cabin repairs, lawn & grounds maintenance, pool upkeep, special projects and more. Candidates should have knowledge of construction, repairs of plumbing, electrical, etc. Also good mechanical skills.
Café: Our café serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. We serve sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas and breakfast type foods. These positions require a basic knowledge of food prep or the willingness to learn. Menu is not complicated. This position includes 1 meal per shift plus tips.
We are looking for folks who enjoy serving guests, who are willing to work, can get along well with others, have a positive attitude and are willing to be flexible in their job assignments. We offer a 30 amp FHU site for 8 hours work per week per couple (4 hours per person) plus $10.00/hour for hours worked after the 4 hours per person for the site. Average work week is 25 – 40 hours each week. We also offer a VIP pass for free or reduced admission to most area attractions, store & café discounts, free wi-fi, free laundry, and more.

We are looking for a long-term couple to provide daily maintenance of a 143-acre private, family-owned ranch 30 miles North-East of Bakersfield. The property is a vacation retreat for owners and their grown children and family who do not live full-time on the property.
Caretakers must live on the property and be able to do general land and garden maintenance, handyman repairs, house and other building maintenance and cleaning and laundry duties. Caretakers are provided a separate recently constructed two-bedroom house in which to live on the property. (Couple must not have children living at home.)
Duties:
· Landscape & Road Maintenance: tree trimming, brush clearing, orchard maintenance, and general upkeep; operate and maintain farm machinery, tractor, skip loader, chipper, chain saws, tools, etc.
· Water Management: maintenance of water systems including wells, pumps, cisterns, water line, irrigation, sprinkler, water storage tanks, and fire hydrants.
· Handyman: plumbing, electrical, general carpentry and repair work; building maintenance, equipment maintenance.
· Security: maintain security of gated property at all times.
· Owner's Home: maintenance, cleaning; including laundry, linens, windows, and deep cleaning.
· Owner Assistance: housekeeping, laundry, assist in kitchen, drive to town to purchase supplies; assist owner and family with ranch activities when in residence.
· Any and all other ranch duties as needed.
· Experience with Horses and Cattle Required.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Must have landscape and road equipment operation/maintenance experience. Preference will be given to candidates who are mechanically inclined and have background and skillset working with a wide variety of tools, power tools, landscape maintenance tools, machinery and farming equipment, and experience servicing vehicles and maintaining machinery.
· Must be willing to be flexible with work schedule, which may include occasional weekends (for which comp-days will be provided). The job generally requires five days/week, 8-hours per day and night work is very rare.
· Must have good communication skills and communicate regularly with owners via text, email and phone. Must be dependable, honest, and trustworthy.
· Must be U.S. citizens or have valid working papers; have valid driver's license and clean DMV report; provide work history and references, including phone numbers; pass a drug test/background check.
Compensation:
· We provide a private, recently constructed, two-bedroom, one-bath home on the property. The kitchen opens to an outside patio area, and the home includes DirecTV and Wi-Fi and gas/electric. In addition to providing housing, there is an annual salary of $28,000 - $35,000, depending on experience.
