Seeking Maintenance/Management Couple for Resort in 1000 Islands - Clayton, NY

We are looking for an ambitous, personable, hands on couple to maintain and operate resort for the summer seasons.

Job positions for the summer of 2018 start March 15th and end November 15th or later.

Our Cottages and Campground, located directly on the St. Lawrence River, is dedicated to making your stay in the Thousand Islands a memory you can share with family and friends for years to come.

We are open from May 1 through October 12.We have twenty motel units and sixteen one, two, and three bedroom cottages. We also have a 60 site full hook-up campground, a boat launch and dockage. For your enjoyment there is an inground swimming pool, a playground, beach front bonfire pits, sandy beach on the premisis. We also provide a beach front picnic area with barbeque grills and a 70' riverfront deck that offers panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River.

The St. Lawrence River boasts many activities. Museums, beautiful golf courses, a go kart track, wineries, distilleries, restaraunts, pubs, basketball and tennis courts are located within a three mile radious. New to Clayton in 2006 is Clayton Island Tours , a two and a half hour two-nation narrated cruise of the islands located in and near Clayton with stop overs at Boldt Castle on Heart Island. Clayton Island Tours also offers Sunset cruises, an Island Picnic cruise, and charters. Uncle Sam Boat Line also offers a two-nation narrated tour with stop overs at Boldt Castle on Heart Island or Singer Castle on Dark Island. A visit to these famous castles featured in 2005 on the Travel Channel is a must for any visitor of the area. Duties include, but are not limited to, office tasks like taking reservations, checking guests in/out, handling cash/credit card transactions, cleaning rest rooms, motel rooms, and cottages, do motel laundry, mowing, trimming, landscaping, watering flowers, trash clean up, grounds maintenance.  Must pay attention to details, multi-task, able to lift 40 to 50 lbs, have some basic knowledge of plumbing, electical, carpentry, and willing to live on site.  You can bring your own trailer and live free, or if you don't have one,  we have a small apartment open.

Work Camper Couple needed for Summer Season 2018 - Hot Springs, SD

Enjoy the 2018 season in this beautiful campground nestled in the Southern Black Hills and located near many popular attractions such as the Mammoth Site, Wild Horse Sanctuary, Angostura Reservoir, Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and Mount Rushmore.

We are looking for a friendly couple to work side-by-side with the owners and one other work camper couple in a relaxed and scenic environment.  Must be able to look at what needs to be done then take the initiative to take care of it.

General Duties:  short order breakfast cooking; opening or closing store; cleaning and restocking store; store sales; registrations and reservations; pool maintenance; cleaning bathrooms, cabins, laundry room and recreation room; mowing, weeding, plant care; pumping propane. 

We are seeking a couple who can cook at the breakfast cafe on two mornings per week and assist with the store and cleaning and maintenance, cover cleaning and maintenance on the third morning, and cover evening shift two days per week.

40 hrs/wk per person from May through mid-September.

Physical requirements: must be able to hear and respond over the telephone; long periods of standing, walking, bending, and possibly kneeling; some lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Job qualifications: general knowledge of computer operations.  Knowledge of KOA Kampsight software a plus! Short order cook experience. Cleaning, maintenance experience.

Hourly wage paid $8/hour.  Full-hook-up RV site and all utilities provided.  Free WiFi, laundry allowance, daily breakfast, movie rentals, and coffee.  Store discount.  Uniform shirts provided.
