Looking for Front Desk and Maintenance Team Members to join our team. At our KOA, the guest experience and providing first-class customer service is our top priority, so guest-oriented and hospitality professionals please apply. 

Front Desk: providing exceptional customer service to new and returning guests both in person and over the phone. 'Selling' the customer experience of the park as well as the local area, assisting with arranging tours, processing reservations, arrivals, and reports through KampSight. Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance: providing exceptional customer service to new and returning guests by creating a fun, professional, and helpful experience outside of the office. Assist guests by escorting them to their site upon arrival, delivering firewood, filling propane, and ensuring their site is in proper working order. Skilled maintenance knowledge is preferred as we work to improve the property in the off-season and make necessary repairs in-season. Light housekeeping of bathrooms and unfurnished cabins may be required in the off-season.

Florida State Parks are looking for volunteers. We are looking for volunteers to assist park staff by keeping park grounds and facilities clean and well maintained in exchange for a campsite. These parks do not have campgrounds however, our volunteers work with rangers to provide a clean, safe and welcoming setting for our visitors through other responsibilities that may include: keeping restrooms and facilities clean, greeting visitors and interpreting park rules, museum operations, trail maintenance, grounds keeping, maintenance projects, and assisting park staff with opening and closing the park.

- Position is 20 hours/week, 1-4 months
- Site has water, 30 & 50-amp electric, & sewage hook ups
- The work schedule will vary from park to park and some locations are limited in the size of trailer rigs

Small Farm Caretaker(s) - Hawley, PA

Come live in a historic Lockhouse (build in 1828) along the Lackawaxen River, one of the premier fly-fishing rivers in the Northeastern United States.  We have 250 acres (mostly forested) in the Pocono Mountains and are looking for a caretaker (individual or couple) to live and work on our property in exchange for housing.  

This job is ideal for a person or couple that work from home, have another job in the area, or are retired/semi-retired. Hours vary according to the season. The spring, summer and autumn months are much busier with increased general maintenance of the property, while the winter months are much slower. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Caring for animals (beef cows, donkey, chickens, cats)
• Landscaping (weed whacking, weeding, pruning, mowing, leaf removal, etc)
• Mowing pastures
• Housekeeping
• Gardening (vegetable)
• Splitting and stacking wood
• Snow removal (plowing)
• Maintenance of private residence and guest houses

If you are not highly experienced in all of the job duties but are handy and are willing and open to learn, you will be considered for the position.

Caretakers must have own transportation, be non-smokers, be physically fit (occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance), have a strong work ethic, and be willing to make a long-term commitment.
