Self Storage Resident Manager Couple - Eagle, ID

A locally owned Self-Storage Company in Idaho is seeking a Resident Manager couple, to oversee the day-to-day operations of a self-storage facility. Great opportunity to live and work together.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• General office and clerical skills including telephone sales, record keeping, computer bookkeeping, rentals, vacates, transfers and other customer service needs.
• Sales and Collection Calls 
• General maintenance and upkeep of the physical appearance of the property including sweeping, weed control, cleaning, minor door or building repairs
• Cleaning and general upkeep of the property apartment, office and restrooms.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous experience in a customer service related industry
• Previous experience in self storage preferred

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:

• Must possess a valid standard driver’s license, currently registered motor vehicle in reliable working order and insurance.

SKILLS:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Windows based personal computer applications.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents such as rental agreements, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and policy manuals.

We are a small resort located within the Sierra National Forest where local activities include backpacking to the high sierra back country, swimming and boating in nearby creeks and lake.  We are looking for individuals and working couples with the passion for guest services and dedication to the day-to-day operation of the business.  We are also expanding the business to include cabins in the next 1-2 years.  Desired candidates must be pleasant, honest, courteous, hospitable with commitment. Seasonal, May – September/October.  Very good salary. 

Business Operation Role:

1. -Manage and work in store and provide frendly guest service.
2. -Provide accurate report of cash register
3. -Ensure smooth day-to-day resort operation
4. -Perform cleaning and maintenance of the store area
5. -Certain level of creativity and latitude is expected

Daily Duties entail:

1. +Greeting customers and using the cash register
2. +Campground Registration
3. +Answering phones and taking camp reservations
