Our campground is set up with 19 RV sites, five full hook-up sites, 12 electricity/water sites, and 7 tent sites (dry camping). We also have a store, 7 room waterfront motel, & 5 cabins. Day-use area and accommodations are on the water’s edge. Host duties would include: managing the camp area after the store closes, sewer hook-up, facilitating the quiet hours policy, greeting visitors when needed, and helping when requested.

Looking for Domestic Couple for a Private Home - Columbus, OH

Family with three small children seeks a live-in or out Household Manager/housecleaner/general maintenance couple for their home.   They employ a Nanny and a part-time house cleaner.  They have an 11,000 sq. ft. older home (no elevator).  Responsibilities will include housecleaning;  caring for marble, crystal, silver, artwork, and other fine items; cooking dinner a few nights a week, plus some cooking for holidays and social functions; and laundry and ironing. 

The partner would be the household manager and would be responsible for coordinating social functions; overseeing contractors; running errands; flower arranging; overseeing gardening and outside maintenance; overseeing automobile cleaning; and anything else required to help their homes and lives run smoothly. Holidays and weekends may occasionally be required for social functions, though they will offer comp time or holiday pay for holidays worked. They are looking for a couple who are able and willing to take the initiative without constant supervision or management; a problem-solver; self-motivated; and flexible. They need a couple with a positive attitude who are willing and able to take on many roles as needed. Should have previous experience working in a private home of wealth.  Excellent salary, benefits, and 5 room apartment provided.  

State Park Volunteer Couples Needed for Multiple Locations - North Hero, Grand Isle, Bethel, VT

Vermont Sate Parks is looking for couples who would like to volunteer in parks around Vermont. Duties consist of customer service and light maintenance such as landscaping and cleaning facilities. Volunteers work 30 hours per week (split amongst a couple you would each work 15 hours) in exchange for a site with hookups, free propane, and free admission to VT State Parks. Other Vermont Attractions offer free or reduced admissions to our volunteers, as well. Uniforms are provided. Volunteers must provide their own self-contained camping equipment. It is part of our hiring procedures to conduct thorough background checks annually on all staff and volunteers.

North Hero Sate Park- Work on Lake Champlain in a park pretty much to yourself! This reduced operations park has no staff aside from the volunteers and is free to visitors for day use. There is no camping. Volunteers will mow the grass, pick up trash, trim branches, and other light maintenance duties. Grand Isle State Park- This is a very popular park on Lake Champlain with a large campground. Volunteers will work alongside park staff to complete maintenance tasks such as cleaning campsites and restrooms, stacking wood, and landscaping as well as assist visitors in the office. Silver Lake Sate Park- This is small park but it has a campground and a beach that are well loved by locals and tourists alike. Volunteers will work alongside park staff to complete maintenance tasks as well as assist visitors at the office or concession stand/boat rental. Full season available. Resort Couple for Charming Log Cabin Resort - Grand Marais, MN

We are looking for a friendly, hard-working couple to work side by side with the owners and their two young sons.  Located on the edge of the Boundary Waters with endless outdoor recreational opportunities,  you are sure to spend your time off enjoying the outdoors. We have eight original log cabins built in the 1920's and a main lodge where we serve breakfast and dinner to guests and off-road tourists.  Our place is small, rustic and charming and accomodates 30 people at a time.  This allows for each employee to truly interact with guests on a daily basis, making each person's role one that intimately impacts each guest's stay. 

Dates:  May through September (we are flexible)

Rate:  $10 an hour per person plus tip share and end of season bonus!

Room and Board:  Housing, Internet, Utilities, and Laundry are provided for all employees at no cost.

Getting Around:  Because of our remote location you will need a car to drive to town to pick up groceries/gas/etc.  We live 39 miles up the Gunflint Trail and Grand Marais is the nearest city.  

Tasks and Duties:  Willing to work long hours with flexibility, must be able to work without a great deal of supervision, and must be able to take and follow directions.  Some tasks you will perform on a daily basis may include cleaning guest cabins, cleaning the lodge and its common areas, tending to laundry, serving breakfast and dinner, washing dishes, mowing, landscaping, painting, trail clearing, fixing minor maintenance issues in cabins, refueling and bilging boats, cleaning fish for guests, answering phones, and checking in guests.

Part-time Motel Managers - Pinetop, AZ

Arizona applicants or near the northeastern part of the state only, please.

Your compensation is negotiable based on experience and work you are interested in performing.  Housing is available onsite and would include a 3 bedroom 2-story apartment with two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and two balconies.  The furnishings that are available would include items such as a bedroom set  and dressers, couches and coffee tables, tv in the living room, refrigerator and stove, microwave in the kitchen.  Utilities are included along with wifi and cable TV, washer and dryer.

While we are onsite at least 5 days/week, we would need help with daily morning and evening front desk management of the motel including answering the phone, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, taking care of guest needs, etc.  Our lobby is closed from 9pm to 7am so you would need to be available for after hours guest and/or motel urgent needs as they arise such as a guest locked out of room or motel matters such as power outages.  In the mornings, in addition to front desk duties, we would need you to open up at 7am and manage the continental breakfast, clean lobby and back office area and restock.  In the evenings, we would want the front desk to be managed until close at 9pm.  Hours are flexible and would include time off for both you and us.  

Outside of the management resposibilities, we would need help for and would pay an hourly wage for hours worked primarily doing housekeeping but could also be maintenance  and/or landscaping work as directed or other tasks that you may be qualified to perform such as marketing, computer IT, etc. and can range from 40 hours in the summer to 20 or less hours in the slow season for each person.

This position is a yearly position and we would require a commitment through the summer high season through the months of May to September.
