Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Lawn and grounds maintenance
- General cleaning and maintenance of cabins
- Laundry
- Guest services – including greeting guests, checking in/out, collecting payments, help with boats, etc.
- Restaurant support – including taking orders, serving food and help in kitchen.
- Help with events and activities
- Reservation management
- Construction and building maintenence
- Equipment and small engine maintenance/repair
Specific Requirements:
- Driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Fluent in English
- Non-drug users
- No criminal history (background check will be performed)
- No children (except as visitors)
- Pets may be allowed based on circumstances
Compensation:
- This position is part-time, seasonal. Must be available from May – September. However, we do have year round opportunity available for the right couple.
- Couple will receive free accommodation in a recently remodeled 2 bed/2 bath cabin. All utilities (i.e. water, lp gas, electric, sanitation, internet, and satellite television) are included.
- In exchange for accommodation, couple will perform 40 hours of total/combined work (i.e. 20 hours/person) at the resort.
- Additional paid work (beyond 40 combined hours) is available at an hourly rate to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
- Access to all resort amenities, including use of boats and other recreational equipment.
Ranch Caretaker Couple Wanted Year-Round - Between Reserve and Datil, NM

We are looking for year-round Ranch Caretakers (couple preferred) for a small prairie ranch near Old Horse Springs, New Mexico between Reserve and Datil, NM (7,000 feet with cold winters and semi-hot summers).
Duties include the following for a 10 cow/calf operation on 1,250 acres: branding and roundup (1-2 times per year), fence maintenance, and watering (daily) and feeding (as needed) livestock; providing ranch security; maintaining bunk house residence/yard (ability to perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc.); and feeding/watering feral cats.
Ranch owner will provide unfurnished housing on property (3 bedroom/2 bath bunk house with refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, wood burning stove (only source of heat), and well water. Personal pets, horses, etc. are negotiable.
Previous ranch experience is required. Caretakers must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record, no criminal record, and no outstanding warrants (able to pass a background check).
Must enjoy living in remote, beautiful area and working outdoors in a ranch environment, have excellent communication skills, have a successful, self-sufficient ranch/farm work history, and able to be proactive and identify ranch/farm issues (consult ranch owner and address issues in a timely manner).
This is not a paid position. Stable income is recommended as employment is limited (40 miles to nearest towns).
Maintenance Team - Lakewood, OH

A family owned property management company is seeking a qualified couple to assist in mantaining an apartment property in Northeast Ohio.
General maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, and apartment turns are a bonus but not required), but general knowledge of maintenance are a requirement.
1 person will be on the maintenance team for apartment repairs and turn overs.
1 person will be responsible for the cleaning of the building (mopping vaccuming, windws, doors, outside and inside pick up, stairwells and hallways and more)

Caretakers - Loire Valley

Tremendous opportunity for a working couple to care for our estate in Loire, France. The Chateau is run as a second home for a family and a holiday/retreat venue.
The couple would be expected to oversee the 9 hectares of woodland gardens and the Chateau and outbuildings and also host paying visitors when the Chateau is let. Accommodation is provided on site in a one bedroom flat with kitchenette, lounge and en-suite. In total the Chateau is 10,000 sqft and has been recently refurbished. Principle duties for the couple would be to mainitain the grounds, swimming pool and running track in good and useable order, arranging local specialist assistance when required. In addition we would expect the Chateau to be maintained, tidied of rubbish and waste, and generally kept in good order (though specialist cleaners will be used when the building is let). The main season is March to October with major maintenance and refurbishment work conducted in the winter alongside Xmas visitors.
We are looking for a couple who are self motivated, have a professional approach to work, enjoy everything French and have an attention to detail. Some French would be useful, as would a background in building management or maintenance.
You will live at the Chateau rent free, receive an allowance towards food and drink and a competitive salary. We are looking for a couple to start between November 2018 and February 2019. Further details are available on application.
