Domestic Couple for Large, Family Vacation Home - Nantucket, MA

Seeking Mature Live-In Couple for large, family vacation home to be responsible for all housekeeping, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, weekend cooking & meal service, gardening, lawn maintenance, general home maintenance. Permanent position.

We feel that this position is best suited for a mature couple who is willing to work hard during the season, which includes every weekend, and who may enjoy the extensive down time during the winter months.  The off season is very low key, as the island population dwindles and the seasonal business shut down.  If you are looking for a job that keeps you busy all week, year round, this is probably not a good fit.  We spend, on average, a total of two months per year at the property.  It is not full-time throughout the year and, therefore, ideally suited for a semi-retired couple.

Weekends May-Sept. are very busy! Right candidates will be highly organized, honest, completely trustworthy, have a kind and friendly disposition, able to work independently and well together.  Must be willing to work hard throughout summer season (including all weekends). Meticulous in cleaning, you will be full charge housekeeping, turning over bedrooms (we have 9) for our many houseguests, washing and pressing of family laundry and household linens.  You'll be called on to occasionally walk our 2 small dogs. Additional errands/duties as needed.

Right candidate will come to recognize needs and take initiative to address them without instruction. Salary + furnished 1- bedroom apt + vehicle. Non-smokers only, no children, no pets. Valid driver’s license necessary. Background check will be performed.

LOCATION:    We are.8 miles west of Buena Vista, CO. - Elevation approximately 9200 feet - The Location is on a trout fishing lake set in the mountains which makes the weather  pleasant with averages of 74/49 degrees with basically no humidity.  We are approximately 2.5 hours from Denver and 2 hours from Colorado Springs and Vail. 

Area Attractions:  Fishing, horseback riding, rafting, canoeing, high country hiking, biking, four wheeling and  rock crawling, to name a few....

Who we are looking for:

 Couple (no children), Friendly, outgoing, and understands that customer service is expected at all time. We hold ourselves to the same policies as our guest we set for our guest including the "No Pet Policy", sorry.

Couple that hope to come back each summer with the possibility of moving up to the manager's job in a few years.

Able to start May 1, 2019 until August 31, 2019 (maybe till September 30, 2019 if you want).

Responsibilities:

Start time is usually 9AM until around 3:30, although this can vary. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy days therefore days off will be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. A few times you will only have one day off but there will be time when you have three days off.

Main requirement is Cleaning Cabins with attention to detail and is required by both. Physically able to navigate stairs, lift vacuums, and do work required.

Follow directions without supervision (very important) to complete jobs to our specifications.

Willingness to work as a team and help with other jobs if needed as cabins have to be ready for 3PM check in.

Compensation:

 $10.00 per hour for every hour worked.....20 to 35 hours a week housekeeping and extra hours in grounds work, maintenance or office if you want.

Full hook up RV site at Mt. Princeton RV Park in Buena Vista (8 miles) includes Electric, water, sewer and trash ( up to $600.00 per month, and it has never been more than 600.00). RV Park offers very clean accommodations, friendly owner, bath house, laundry and activities.

Our Inn located in the Historic Old northside in downtown Indianapolis is currently seeking an Innkeeper(s). This position is well suited for individuals as well as qualified couples. Great for graduate students or retired couples!

First and foremost the innkeeper(s) is to provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere/experience for guests. Additional duties include check-in/out, concierge service, preparing/serving breakfast daily, collecting payments, grounds keeping, laundry, shopping and light maintenance for our 7 room boutique inn. Successful candidate(s) must be out-going and enjoy meeting people from all over the country and world. The ability to stay customer focused while maintaining a smoothly running inn is a must.

In exchange for the above responsibilities, the innkeeper is compensated with free housing, utilities, and a $150/week stipend. Reservations, housekeeping, billing and maintenance are provided by additional support staff.

We are seeking couples who are willing and able to share maintenance and management responsibilities at our park in Hopkinsville, KY. 

The Community Manager and Maintenance Associates positions each require 25-30 hours each week. Relocation and housing allowance provided.

Community Manager Duties/Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the daily management oversight of a mobile home park community, including overall operations, collecting the rent, managing all property expenses and tenant relations.
• The position provides outstanding customer service to the property owners or lease residents to ensure strong client relations.
• Exhibit strong organizational and people skills, and be personable to residents, vendors, contractors, and staff.
• Ensure completion of all daily work order assignments in a timely and proficient manner.

Maintenance Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mowing, trimming, debris removal, minor repairs and generally keeping the property clean
• Minor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, drywall, painting, caulking and appliance repair.
• Conduct unit inspections of vacant units, annual unit inspection, and other inspections, as needed, and prepare work orders for remediation.

• Understand and learn the community's electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, and HVAC systems park maintenance as needed and landscaping.

• Makes purchasing recommendations to the Community Manager.

My name is David and together with my brother I'm looking for a caretaker to keep an eye on a very big luxurious chateau in the middle of France. For us it is the most important thing that someone lives there and can contact us in case anything happens or get broken. Its in a very safe area so it's not like a security job.

We are trying to sell the property so it will be nice if you can open the doors to potential buyers and make sure everything is clean when they come. A bit of gardening would be nice but the most important thing is that the grass is cut. We are willing to pay a salary aswell.

So basically you can stay in a very luxurious place and get paid at the same time. But we would like you to stay for at least 3 months.
