Operational Managers Needed for Small Hotel - Amsterdam

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and hands-on couple to manage and operate our 10 room Bed and Breakfast/Hotel) in Amsterdam.
The BnB is located in the neighborhood, Heesterveld in the district of Amsterdam Zuid-Oost next to the Metrostation Bullewijk (15 minutes
from city centre)
The building is a former social housing complex now partly transformed into business spaces and creative student housing
Heesterveld is creative hub of activities as art, architecture, music, food and hospitality. The neighborhood is an upcoming area in transition.
The hotel is one of the place makers. We are positioned as a bed and breakfast to emphasize the
character of small, local, cozy and privately owned. We do not serve breakfast. All rooms have a small shared kitchen In the
same building a café serves breakfast and lunch which is optional for our guests.
We are a affordable alternative for the more expensive hotels in the city and very well connected with local transport (metro).
Our theme is 'Stay creative book a creative stay.'
Most guests are in the age of 25-35. From the bigger cities in the UK,
France, Spain , Germany, Italy and Asia
Minimum stay is 2 nights. We do not clean occupied rooms only bathrooms and kitchen are cleaned everyday.
Besides the hotel with 10 rooms we have a Gallery (exhibition space for
local and international artist , also to be used as a space for presentation/flexworkers), the hotel presents a lot of art, each room
has it own art.
We are looking for a young couple who would like to run the whole operation of the
BnB/hotel which means
- administration and communication with guests via email
- handling reservations and bookings (most bookings via Booking.com)
- daily cleaning of the rooms and reception (average of 4-6 to rooms to clean
per day)
- taking care of the laundry : washing and ironing
- organize check-ins and check-outs
- 24 hour presence/availability at the building /reception
Fee : 2500 euro per month (self employed professional)
Free housing: large private room with shower which is part of the reception apartment
Experience:
- minimum of at least two year working experience in hotel or bed and breakfast
Requirements:

Private New York/Long Island Family seeks experienced full time live-In Domestic couple to maintain their Oyster Bay, NY estate. The family is seeking a 7-10 year commitment. Candidates should be a couple, team player, non-smoking, happy and positive minded person who will work with others in the heart of the home.
The couple will be responsible for cooking, maintaining the interior of residence, including housekeeping, laundry, ironing, valet services, household errands, and maintaining inventory of supplies. Running errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and purchase of household supplies. Also included; all exterior maintenance of property, light gardening / handyman duties, scheduling appropriate vendor or services, maintain appearance of residence’s outdoor structures / guest house and dog sitting. Assist other staff with dinner parties; serving and clean-up.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Menu preparations for both formal and informal meals
- Detailed museum level cleaning (includes, but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, and laundering, ironing/steaming and polishing silver)
- Assisting with organizational projects and keeping inventory and proper care of linens, china, crystal, silverware, antiques, furniture, artwork, collectibles, electronics, appliances, etc
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, dry cleaning, packing and unpacking, storing seasonal clothing
- Answering the telephone, door and gate as well as receiving guests
- Collecting mail and accepting deliveries
· Coordinate all entertaining and guest needs; greet and assist guests
· Responsible for shopping and stocking the kitchen and home with necessary provisions
· Setting and clearing of tables and cooking and serving meals
· Basic handyman skills to maintain all structures on the property

Requirements:

- Speak excellent English.
- Five plus years of relevant work experience as a Domestic

Domestic Couple - The Plains, VA

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Domestic Couple for a formal residence located in Virginia. The successful applicants will be responsible for the overall management and day to day operation of the residence. This position is full-time and live-in. Applicants should be flexible with schedules and expect to travel with their employer to a second residence in South Carolina December to April every year.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Management of daily housekeeping, including hands-on support while the full-time housekeeper is off which includes dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, and washing floors; care of fine furnishings, fixtures, fabrics, finishes, and surfaces
· Daily laundry, ironing and steaming; wardrobe management, packing and unpacking
· Special projects include, but not limited to, quarterly deep cleans, household cupboard and closet cleaning and reorganization
· Preparing and serving three meals per day; this includes menu planning with the principal and kitchen clean-up afterwards
· Formal and semi-formal table setting, and food and beverage service; silver service is required
· Planning and assisting with private and social events
· Household inventory and grocery shopping
· Excellent communication skills, politely and professionally greet guests, answer the telephone and record messages, receive packages
· Management and supervision of vendors and trades for regular maintenance, seasonal maintenance and other special projects

Live-in couple or individual sought for a private luxury residence in Windermere Florida. At least three years previous experience managing a 5* luxury property or 5* hotel is required.
The owners are seeking a live-in couple or individual to manage all aspects of running a large property to a very high standard. The role is expected to average approximately 24 hours per week per person. The owners are in-residence only one to two weeks every two months so self-starting individuals that can work with minimal supervision is essential.
The role includes all interior domestic duties and it is contemplated that the couple (or individual) would be able to recruit and oversee an additional part-time cleaner to assist with keeping the interior of the house to the very highest standards.
The role will also require daily exterior maintenance, as well as coordination/oversight of various tradesmen providing services to the property (there is existing weekly gardening and pool services). The property is on a lake and exterior maintenance includes frequent leaf blowing and occasional pressure washing of walks, walls etc.
When the owners are in residence, duties would include all of the above as well as assistance with food preparation and entertaining, so past experience in high quality food preparation and service would be useful.
The position includes the use of a fully separate one bedroom apartment with its own parking (all utilities paid for by the employer). At least two references and a driving license will be a required.

Applicants must be non-smokers and fluency in English is essential. Strictly no pets and no children are allowed (no exceptions). Applicants must have US citizenship or existing Green cards and applicants without this will not be considered and should not apply.
Consistent with the very high standards and experience requirements (at least three years past experience in managing a 5* property or hotel), but in recognition of the low weekly hours, an aggregate salary of $60k per annum is offered.
Innkeepers Needed for New Boutique Property - Stonewall, TX

Newly renovated, small, boutique hotel in the charming Texas Wine and Hill Country is seeking a couple to be a key part of our team. Did you know Texas has a Wine and Hill country that is being called the "New Napa Valley"? With over 50 established wineries in the charming Hill Country located about 45 min north of San Antonio and west of Austin, the area is exploding as one of the main tourist destinations in Texas (and also a sought after place to live in general). We are opening a newly renovated motel in this area and are looking for a talented couple to manage the day to day operations.
The motel sits on 3 acres in Stonewall, TX, which sits in the middle of what has become known as the Hwy 290 Wine Trail. Built in 1963, it's a classic L shaped motel with 12 rooms. We will also be adding 5 cabins later this year after a full renovation on the motel.
We are searching for an outgoing, responsible, experienced, and versatile couple to manage the day to day operations, which include housekeeping, maintenance, and guest check in and needs resolution as needed. We expect to leverage technology as much as possible with self checkin and online booking, but you'll have some guest checkin activities. You'll be responsible for maintaining and cleaning the grounds as well as the public areas. As the General Partner of the Motel, you will work closely with us on recommended pricing, marketing recommendations, social media and other needs as you'll be located in the area full time (we are located in San Antonio). Candidates must share our high standards for cleaning and maintaining a high guest service level. Our ideal candidates have strong experience in various areas managing a small motel or B&B, are tech savvy, detail oriented and non-smokers. We strongly prefer candidates with no pets.
We are looking for a start date around the end of March into early April, but could be sooner depending on the renovation.
An onsite apartment with all utilities paid in addition to a salary.
