Innkeepers(s) Needed for a Bed and Breakfast - Aspen, CO

 Inn in Aspen CO is seeking a Full-Time Manager(s) to live on site.  Generous Salary.  We are a 35 room Bed & Breakfast style hotel that prides ourselves on our excellent customer service.  Daily responsibilities include assisting guests with local information, setting up and maintaining breakfast, checking guests in & out and taking reservations. 

Responsibilities to also include day to day desk duties, some light maintenance on property and regular snow removal.  The onsite manager(s) will join a 4 person staff for a year round position and can expect to work an average of 40 hours a week, and would also need to be on-site at night in case of emergencies.  This position will start as soon as possible.  

Innkeeper(s) Needed for Historic Inn - Indianapolis, IN

Our Inn(s) located in the Historic Old northside in downtown Indianapolis is currently seeking an Innkeeper(s). This position is well suited for individuals as well as qualified couples. Great for graduate students or retired couples!  This is a live-in position.

First and foremost the innkeeper(s) is to provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere/experience for guests. Additional duties include check-in/out, concierge service, preparing/serving breakfast daily, collecting payments, grounds keeping, laundry, shopping and light maintenance for our 7-10 room boutique inn(s). Successful candidate(s) must be out-going and enjoy meeting people from all over the country and world. The ability to stay customer focused while maintaining a smoothly running inn is a must.

In exchange for the above responsibilities, the innkeeper is compensated with free housing, utilities, and a $1200/month salary. Reservations, housekeeping, billing and maintenance are supported by additional staff with innkeepers covering limited reservation taking hours weekly.

Summer is VERY busy. We are looking for someone who is willing to work or cover the inn 7 days/nights a week (yes you do get some time off but need to cover during our busy season)  Regular weekly time-off hours are covered by on-site managers and support staff.

We are optimally seeking a pleasant active couple who ENJOYS BEING NEEDED AND BUSY, who is excited by this rewarding opportunity and welcomes the multi-tasking nature of bed and breakfast management. SEEKING LIVE-IN COUPLE FOR FAMILY. OFFERING A STUDIO APARTMENT WITH OCEAN VIEW

This family are seeking a superb live-in couple who will provide domestic/handy service full time, Monday-Friday. Semi-formal home however, couple want uniforms worn, and formal table setting service.

Care of a 40k sf home with additional outbuildings

Duties to include (but not limited to):

Formal table service – setting, serving, clearing

Providing breakfast meals (cooking). Couple do not need to be culinary graduates, but should be proficient with cooking easy breakfast meals or lunches.

Housekeeping – interior/exterior. There is a housekeeper once per week, the couple would also clean the home, and continue weekly maintenance and upkeep. Support landscapers and keep exterior areas organized and debris free.

All handyman needs, if work is out of the scope of handyman, then calling vendors to bid and do job.

Excellent management of outside vendors and housekeepers/landscapers/poolman. Maintain and establish good relationships with vendors always keeping the principals in mind when dealing with vendors and representing them well.

Tech savvy with Crestron system and other systems, devices. Able to troubleshoot tech issues.

Be extra consciousness, perceptive and personable. Great attention to service and detail. Clients appreciate a quiet, serene atmosphere when on property and would prefer little chit-chat exchanges with them unless necessary. They are friendly but this is their sanctuary space (2nd home).

Exceptional couple for this position, caliber of the couple should be “yacht” comparable but in the home. Former yacht crew encouraged to submit resumes.

Small studio apartment provided for couple. There is a car/vehicle for use. Access to the main house kitchen when clients are not on property is allowed. Vacation when family are out of town required, otherwise the expectation is that couple work all days when family are there. The family will not expect a 24/7 schedule but if 7 days occur (due to holiday or special circumstances), they will have coverage provided so that couple can take days off.

Personalities which would work best for this estate: in-between quiet and friendly chatter, but leaning towards quiet. Pleasant with fantastic energy as the family respond to positive/upbeat personalities. Polite but not too familiar, but always discerning to the client’s needs. VERY SERVICE ORIENTED. Sharp like yacht staff by anticipating needs and listening. Flexible, caring, cook well.
