Lodge Hosts/Managers - Big Creek , ID

We are seeking two people to operate our lodge, starting full time in May until mid Oct 2019. The two people will share a room in the lodge, which accommodates up to 8 guests plus up to 12 more in other buildings. Both will report to a supervisor.
JOB DUTIES:
- Understanding and embracing the vision
- Cheerfully greeting guests, assisting with questions, helping coordinate activities, etc
- Planning, preparing and serving all meals and drinks (including wine/beer)
- Ordering and storing/handling food to Idaho Board of Health standards
- Managing merchandise inventory and sales
- Cleaning lodge & guest rooms, duplex and yurt & maintaining clean linens, dishes, etc
- Planning for guests via reservation data from website
- Collecting cash/credit card payments for services and goods & basic record keeping
- Mowing and watering lawn; irrigating pasture
- Maintaining buildings and equipment, performing minor maintenance as needed
- Cutting/splitting firewood as needed
- Communicating with IAF supervisor with updates and needs
- Disposing of garbage
- Assisting in collecting donations for IAF on site
- Promoting Big Creek Lodge via website/social media posts
- Delegating appropriate work to volunteers when available
- Understanding and meeting operational requirements of USFS Special Use Permit
- Maintaining productive relationships with USFS, Edwardsburg neighbors, outfitters, etc
- Managing controllable costs
- Assisting customers with emergencies, and other issues as needed
- Other appropriate duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Must be over 19 years old and able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work indoors & outdoors in varying weather (cold/heat, smoke, occasional snow, etc)
- Idaho Health and Welfare food handling certification, which can be arranged prior to start date
- Applicants should have strong communication skills and meet well with the public
- Applicants must be in good health and physically capable of performing the duties described
- Ability to ‘think on feet’, take initiative and solve problems while in a remote location.
- Desire to please visitors and have an aptitude for hospitality
- Average computer skills with Excel or QuickBooks, for financial reporting
- Ability to develop/execute ideas that can grow occupancy and/or improve customer experience

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary is negotiable commensurate with applicable skills and experience

- Up to $2000 pp in performance incentives, criteria to be agreed upon prior to starting work
- Managers will have latitude to run the Lodge with their judgement assuming key measures are met and policies are coordinated/approved by the IAF Supervisor

Resort Host Couple Wanted - Salary & Free Rv Lot for the Season! - Yahk, BC, AB

We are located along the Moyie River. You can find us near the village of Yahk. We are also only 10 km from the US border (Kingsgate) and 20 minutes from Creston, BC. Moyie Lake is a half hour away and Kootenay Lake 40 minutes away. The resort also borders crown land, which has abundant land available for quading and quad trails are accessible right from within our resort.
We have a salaried seasonal position to offer for a Resort Host couple. In addition to a monthly salary of $2000 per month per couple, our Resort Host will also be provided with a free fully-serviced lot for the term of the stay, which will commence May 1st 2019 and end on September 30th, 2019. The Resort Host will also be provided with a gas powered golf cart. You must own your own RV.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work in the office from 9 am until 2 pm Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon for a total of 25 hours a week
- Clean washrooms on Thu/Mon for a total 4 hours a week
- General office cleaning once a week for 1 hour a week
- Daily inspections throughout the resort on days Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon for a total of 10 hours a week (Resort Host off on Tue/Wed)
- Knowledge of Resort by-laws and be able to convey these by-laws to both members and guests
- Greet and assist visitors and potential buyers and provide information regarding lots for sale
- Contact Board once a day and report anything of concern EG: members or guests breaking by-laws, complaints, etc.
Qualifications
- Basic office skills including Word and Excel are required

Park Host/Office/Maintenance - Borrego Springs, CA

Busy Southern California RV Park looking for experienced workampers. Positions available: Park Office, Reservations, Park Maintenance/House Keeping, Storage and Pool Service. Clock Barn Wedding Venue - Cleaning Support Couple - Whitchurch, Hampshire

We are a premier Hampshire Wedding Venue and currently looking for a couple to join the team and provide cleaning support across all areas of the business.
The successful candidates will need to be hardworking, have extremely high standards and be flexible in their working hours.
The role is a fixed term role with a minimum of 15 hours per week averaged from March to December. Full flexibility on working hours would be required as some months will be extremely busy. It will also be normal to work weekends.

General duties would involve:
Cleaning the Farmhouse accommodation between stays. This will involve turning around up to 10 rooms in a 4 hour period between guest check out and the next guests checking in.
Cleaning the Bridal Preparation Room after each wedding ensuring it is ready for the next bridal party to use on the morning of their wedding day.
Cleaning the venue office on a weekly basis.
Cleaning and setting up the wedding venue on an adhoc basis as required during busy months of the year or when the venue management couple are on holiday.
