We would like to interview a couple who enjoy meeting people and would love to live in a beautiful house set in a 35 acre property with glorious mountain views in the Spa Town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
We have a first class booking reservation system where guests can choose their room, dates and pay online
The successful applicants would be responsible for taking bookings over the telephone, dealing with inquires via email, greeting and generally taking care of guests. Preparing and serving breakfast. Laundry and cleaning.
We would like someone who could take care of the grounds and general maintenance of the house. All tools and equipment including a skidsteer and a sit on mower
are provided.
The owner wishes to retire but will happily deal with finances for the running of the property.
Domestic Couple to manage estate - Naples, FL

Estate Couple required to proactively manage all aspects of a multi-dwelling estate including but not limited to property maintenance and renovations, liaising with contractors and service providers, manage household staff, coordinate small and large events, manage household spending, provide concierge services and additional projects as required. The position is full-time and live-in.
While the Employer has a preference for an Estate Couple, they will consider splitting the position between a single Estate Manager and a single Executive Housekeeper.
Location: Naples, Florida
Schedule: Monday to Friday, but flexibility required
Property Manager's Duties & Responsibilities:

Proactively create, maintain, implement, and administer all schedules for monthly, seasonal, and annual maintenance for the interior and exterior of the estate and addressing all maintenance issues appropriately.

Manage all construction, renovation, systems upgrade, and landscaping projects.
-
Schedule, negotiate with and supervise contractors and vendors, while monitoring access to the estate property.
-
Ensure security measures and protocols are in place and the estate is secure at all times.
-
Establish and maintain high service standards; hire, manage, develop and train staff; plan and execute cross training for new employees.
-
Schedule assignments and projects to estate staff based on the event calendar and when the principal and/or guests are expected.

Hire, train and manage staff on an as-needed basis
-
Management of standards and protocols for staff
-
Plan and execute requirements for special events including attending to all necessary service arrangements, housekeeping coverage, catering (as required), reservations and other requests.

Administer and approve purchase orders, invoices and time sheets, charge accounts and expenses, and other reports and documentation.

Budget and monitor property expenses, including preparing monthly expense reports for the Principal and/or Director, of Properties.

Enforce the dress code, grooming standards, and other policies and standards for all staff.

Manage care of valuables such as automobiles, boats, artwork, and other valuables.

Accomplish additional tasks, projects, and assignments, as determined on a periodic basis by the Principal and/or Director, of Properties.
Skills and Aptitudes:

A minimum of 5 years of previous experience working in a semi-formal style of residence in a management position

Experience managing others – setting expectations, motivating staff, performance management

Excellent property management skills and knowledge of local vendors, contractors, trades, an asset

Tactical experience with HVAC, security systems, and general maintenance

Must be flexible with work schedules for occasional events

Confident with a strong customer service orientation

Exceptional communication skills

Gracious and handle difficult situations in a professional, calm solution minded manner

Executive Housekeeper's Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Utilize your exceptional detail oriented housekeeping skills to ensure that estate meets and maintains the high quality standards similar to a five-star hotel.

Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain the owner’s standards for housekeeping.
-
Schedule and execute larger cleaning projects on weekly, monthly or annual basis.
-
Conduct exterior cleaning and maintenance, of outdoor “living areas” including cleaning of patio furniture, sweeping of walkway etc.
-
Ensure the residence is as pristine and welcoming as possible for the owners and guests.
-
Anticipate the needs of the principal and guests in advance of arrival and ensure that all requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
-
Responsible for inventory, ensuring that all items are fully stocked and replenished as required.
-
Ensure appropriate care of fine items such as wardrobe, artwork, and other valuables.
-
Manage performance, set expectations, delegate assignment to housekeeping staff. Set up staff schedules, approve time sheets and source temporary staff as required.

Work respectfully with other household staff to ensure successful operation of the estate.

ABOUT OUR MUSEUM: Our Museum and Pioneer Hall are located in Arlington, Washington, on about 6.9 acres of property, including three ponds and a park with numerous trees. The key themes of local pioneer life, logging and farming are woven into many of the museum displays. We also have a series of outbuildings for acquisitions too large to display in the museum, including printing presses, tractors, trucks, and early farming machines. The museum is open three days a week and frequently hosts special tours and other community events throughout each year. The Pioneer Hall is a rental facility, available for a wide variety of functions, including weddings, receptions, reunions, meetings, birthdays, etc.
SEEKING: A full time Property Management/Caretaker Couple to be responsible for the daily on-site management of the appearance, cleanliness and security of the Museum, Pioneer Hall, outbuildings and grounds – including administration of all rental activities.
REQUIRED DUTIES AND SKILLS: Routine lawn mowing & grounds maintenance; light janitorial duties; able to lift up to 70 pounds; daily trips up/down multiple stairs and walking the grounds (unassisted); purchasing necessary maintenance supplies (reimbursed); English language proficiency; making, being present for and managing rental appointments; explaining and administering rental contracts; collecting and accounting for rental deposits and fees; rental record keeping; enforcement of property and rental rules; routine hazard mitigation; general security & initial response for fire and intrusion alarms; writing reports when required.
REQUIRED (other): As our daily, on-site Agents, you (each) must have professional appearances and demeanors, excellent interpersonal communication skills, current driver’s licenses and no criminal records.

Service mindedness, flexibility, and a great attitude are critical.
Principals have grown children with children of their own who visit occasionally throughout the year and most weekends throughout the summer. Therefore, must be comfortable with children around and underfoot. Their children often leave their two dogs at the home for extended periods of time so must love friendly, playful dogs too.
Duties include detailed housekeeping, laundry, organizing closets, grocery shopping, errand running, and daily preparation of healthy family style meals with nice presentation/serving abilities. Minimal entertaining. This is an old home which requires diligent oversight and ongoing maintenance. The handyman/caretaker will work with vendors and service providers inside and outside the home. Also care of cars (gas, clean, maintain, etc.). Occasional driving to and from Westchester airport and Manhattan.
Looking for a professional couple with similar prior work experience as a couple, who has nice energy, are fit, have a great work ethic, can-do attitude, highly reliable and trustworthy and know how to maintain boundaries. Must have some experience working with smart home technology. Nonsmokers only.
Driving ability required of both. Car is provided for work use and during days off. Estate has a guest house, pool and tennis/squash courts on the property.
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday thru Saturday with flexibility to work additional paid hours or alternate days on occasion if needed.

• Self-starter needing little day-to-day supervision
Maintenance
• 2+ years property management experience in maintenance
• Must have excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work with and manage all types of individuals
• Must multi-task and be able to properly prioritize tasks
• Previous experience in light remodeling, electric & plumbing
• Attention to detail and high standards in regards to community aesthetics
• Self-starter needing little day-to-day supervision
