RV Weighing Specialists - USA

We are looking for a traveling RV weighing team beginning in 2019.  If you are an RVing couple, who enjoys working together, who values safety, and who seeks to supplement income as you travel, consider joining us. This job best fits couples who RV full-time, have a somewhat flexible travel schedule, and would like to make some extra income as they travel.  Once the minimum weigh requirements are met, how much you work is up to you. The job is not intended to be a full time job.

Qualifications (you must):

· Have experience RVing.

·  Both be physically able to lift and maneuver 37 lb. scales while weighing. (Note: those scales seem to get heavier at about 10 am on weigh day.)

·  Have a way to transport 4 scales and maintain their safety and security.

·  Be willing to commit to a schedule of rallies each year. With input and coordination from headquarters, each team will have flexibility determining which rallies they attend.  However, certain rallies each year are priorities for the Foundation. So schedules are set around some of these important rallies.  Also, some time in Goshen, Indiana is often needed - especially for training. Some important rallies take place annually in Goshen from June-October. Weighing can also be done in the winter months if located in popular RV winter locations, such as Florida, Texas, Arizona, Southern California, etc.  The intent is to schedule teams along their travel route in order to keep personal travel expenses low. And for teams to be somewhat flexible to a travel route to include important rally locations.

·  Have a Windows OS computer, a printer/scanner, and internet access.

·  Periodically take scales to a facility to be checked.

Job Description

Scales, signage, and a few other supplies will be provided by the foundation.

The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: travel to various RV rallies, secure a weigh site, work with rally coordinators, present the RVSEF Weight and Tire Seminar, manage a booth during rally vendor hours so participants can ask questions and schedule appointments, prepare customer RV information for customer weigh reports, weigh participant RVs as they depart the rally, provide a weigh report, provide a brief review of their results, and send final reports to headquarters in a timely manner.

A typical rally includes 3-4 days in a booth making weighing appointments for departure day. The morning of the departure day RVs are weighed, usually from about sunrise to noon. 

Teams need to shoot for a minimum of 250-300 RVs weighed annually. More is certainly better.

Compensation is based on the number of RVs that are weighed.

This is an independent contractor position; teams are responsible for their own fees and expenses.

We do not use scare tactics to promote safety. We help people understand the various aspects of their RVs and help them best manage what they have.

Training

The foundation will provide on the job training at a few rallies. And phone support as long as you work with us.

Live-in Innkeeper couple wanted in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Nelson County, Va.  We are a Bavarian style village with 5 rooms and a house.  We are looking for a dependable,  positive energy couple to run all aspects of the Inn from giving tours and check ins to cooking and cleaning. 

Our guests come from all over the world with interesting stories and being in the heart of Virginia wine country, surrounded by mountains and just up the road from the biggest brewer, it is easy to keep guests smiling.  We offer a one bedroom managers apartment that is nonsmoking/no pets.  

Inkeeper(s) Needed for Michigan Inn - Leland, MI

Innkeepers Needed - Millinocket, ME

Looking for a live-in innkeeper couple, to run our B&B for the 2019 season (June 1 to Oct.31).

Duties include: Inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance; Cleaning and turning over of all rooms, and general cleaning of all common areas in the house; Grounds maintenance and lawn care; Greeting and registering guests; Answering inquiries pertaining to inn policies and services. Collecting payments and recording data pertaining to funds and expenditures for all operations. Managing and maintaining kitchen inventory. Cooking breakfasts for all guests and managing dietary requests. Organizing and making reservations. Handling any emergencies with guests and property maintenance. Answering all e-mails for the business and handling telephone inquiries. 

Self Storage Management Team - Seneca, SC

Responsibilities include, but not limited to-

• maintain daily operations of property
• successful conversion of telephone, internet and walk-in inquiries into rentals
• sales of boxes, locks, and packing material
• manage account receivable process through pursuit of collections, posting of payments, and processing of daily bank deposit
• ensures the company standards of cleanliness & appearance
• marketing to local businesses and apartment managers
• maintain accurate records for each customer including lease, addendums, and correspondence
• perform light repair and maintenance duties, including but not limited to: clean units and interior buildings, wiping down doors, pickup up trash, cleaning hallways, office, and bathrooms
• perform preventive maintenance such as but not limited to: change HVAC filters as required, grease door springs on roll-up doors, oil gate chain as needed, routine maintenance of golf cart
• monitors the physical condition of the property and reports any maintenance issues
• oversee contractors and third party vendor’s work
• keeps foreclosure documentation organized and accurate, following company foreclosure checklist and set guidelines
• assist with the auction process
• manage U-Haul transactions, rentals, reservations, truck/trailer parking and routine maintenance

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person
• Works well in a team setting or independently
• Has good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping
• Knowledge of computers is a must (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)
• Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation
• To successfully perform the duties of this position will require the use of a personal vehicle.  Employee must maintain automobile insurance throughout his/her employment which protects the Employee in the event of an accident.  Employer or its agents accepts no responsibility for damage incurred during travel
• Open work availability, including weekends and some holidays
• Ability & willingness to perform light maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, lifting, etc.
• Willing to travel/work in multiple locations if needed (temporarily)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent and at least two years of related experience (sales/customer service/leasing/rentals)
