Spring - Fall workampers needed - Welaka, FL

Would you like to spend time on the St. John’s River in a peaceful setting where you can boat, fish, kayak, canoe, bird watch, hike or simply relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets? Welaka Lodge is a very small “Old Florida” style resort in natural surroundings with a pool, 8 upscale cottages & 18 RV sites in the small rural town of Welaka.
This seasonal workamper position will be from early spring until the first week of November and will include housekeeping in our beautiful cottages, maintenance, pool and grounds keeping duties. Those applying for the housekeeping position should have an eye for detail and exceptional cleaning skills. Both parties should be in good health with no physical limitations.
Since we only require 20 hours of work per couple, you’ll have lots of time for fun activities. In addition to the river, you’ll be less than an hour from great beaches, historic Old St. Augustine, Marineland, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park & lots of other attractions! Summers are pretty warm here, but we have a beautiful pool that’s cooled in the summer and heated in the winter, so it’s always comfortable.
We are a friendly ‘community’. On Thursday nights, we have a Pizza/pot luck night at the pool bar area. Many nights during the cooler months are spent around our large community campfire and during summer, we enjoy the pool together.
In exchange for the 20 hours, we offer a 50 amp full hookup site with wi-fi. You’ll also receive reduced food and beverage rates at our onsite Boathouse Dock Bar. Schedules are made every Friday for the upcoming week based on the number of cottages to be cleaned, so there are not set work days. Some weeks we work fewer hours & others more, but work hours would average 20 hours per week per couple. We try to schedule couples together at least one day, but it is not always possible. Please note that with the exception of tips received, we do not offer monetary compensation.
In addition to our seasonal bar, there is another restaurant in Welaka within walking distance. A Dollar General Store is located right in town and Walmart, Lowe’s, major grocery stores etc. are 20-35 minutes from us.

Looking for a lovely energetic, fun couple for a live-in position for a 6 bedroom Luxury villa with heated salt water pool and Gym/Spa in St. Maarten, the Dutch Caribbean. You must have at least 3 years experience cooking for a 5* luxury property. We are only seeking people whom are passionate about cooking and hosting and you must be able to manage cleaning staff and ensure the villa is maintained to a very high 5* standard. Individiuals whom are technical and handy with electrical and plumbing is also a positive.
Main Duties consist cooking up to 3 meals per day, including serving/hosting horderves, acting as butler, being on call 24/7 when we have guests, managing the cleaning staff and ensuring property secured at all times and is kept in pristine condition. Shopping for food and stocking the villa for guests before arrivals. Ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly cleaning/mainteneace is done and kept up. Arranging for tradesmen when needed and ensure the villa is always ready for guests at a 5* level at moments notice.
Starting salary $2,500.00 per month plus gratuities, includes free Live-in quarters, use of owner's transportation, Interet, Cable and AC Unit in your private quarters. Paid vacation, min of 2 weeks per annum. When owners are on island you may choose to take extra free time with pay.
Both individuals must have valid driver's licence and be non-smoking. NO Pets or children.
This luxury property is owned by a very busy family of 5 whom run a family business in Canada. They built this house from the ground up and the owners are very much involved in assisting and helping as much as possible to Brand this villa as the New Princess of the Dutch Carribbean.

Seeking Camp Host Couple In Northern California - Lakehead, CA

We are a small Resort located in the mountains, surrounded by forest on Shasta Lake in Lake Head, Northern California and are seeking an on-site Camp host couple.
Wildlife and nature surround the resort in a peaceful and quiet setting. This is a place where you can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as you provide hosting for the guests. We have families that return to stay with us, and in addition, we are continuing to build our guest list.
As we are in a remote location, the perfect couple should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable in this type of setting. This is perfect for those who are looking for an opportunity, perhaps be slowing life down, and yet, still have energy to provide the resort guests with customer service. It is acceptable to have one of the team in a full or part time job which would ideally be flexible enough for them to still help, as needed during the busy season at the resort.
Our “Resort Season” begins on May 1st and goes through just after Labor Day weekend.The Camp Host’ would be on call through the day and evening hours for guests needs and to greet the arrival of guests / potential guests; checking guests in and out; showing the resort property and dealing with emergency maintenance issues. Other duties would include distribution of bagged ice to guests, providing fire pits, grills, firewood to guests and attending to additional requests. The host would always be responsible to have at least one of the 2 of the couple on site while there are guests staying at the resort except for Monday through Friday during the day that Management will be on property maintaining grounds. Off site management will coordinate off time scheduling with the couple and this would be discussed during the interview process as we understand that having time away from the property together is important.Off site management will step in to take over on occasion if the couple would need time away. This will be discussed during the interview process. Off site management lives locally and will maintain grounds, be available for emergencies, communicate with Host’ regarding reservations, etc.The ideal candidates shall have experience in a similar setting; have the energy to maintain the resort guests daily and be available to guests needs.The ideal candidates’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to:•Greeting guests, welcoming off road guests, checking guests in and out•Customer service, which includes providing guests with lake activity information and local information•On site security•Dispose of, in the evening, all garbage and recycling as needed to deter wildlife.•Human relations with current, potential and return guests•Helping guests with boat trailer parking at the resort, assisting with parking of RV’s if necessary•Communication with Management•Ability to troubleshoot issues and requests•Camp hosts must set an example by being model campers who always practice good housekeeping in and around their campsite•We provide to the host’ an RV space - full hookup, which includes Dish TV & Wi-Fi (Satellite) water, electric, sewer, propane, free laundry, Ice and firewood. •The candidates would be fluent in English and a "hands on" duo with complementary skills to reside on property * in their privately-owned RV, on one of our full hook-up RV Sites •There is also an opportunity to earn income, if interested in cleaning cabins after move-outs through the season at a rate of $25.00 per 1 bedroom and $35.00 per 2 or 3-bedroom cabin cleaned. Host’ will demonstrate a passion for hospitality, be reliable and dependable, business appropriate and personable to interact with guests, Honest and good natured, provide attention to creating a pleasing and clean atmosphere, and the ability to relate to diverse guests. Although not a requirement, we would like to find a couple that would consider staying on property indefinitely should it be viable for both parties. During off season, the resort is not open for business (however, there will be times that the owners/friends/family may utilize the facilities) and this would be coordinated with the offsite management team. During off season, the resort would require security and light grounds maintenance. During off season, the host’ would be able to have time away which can be arranged with off site management. A cabin would be provided to the couple during the off-season months if they should decide to stay.Position is available beginning Mid-April of 2019

We are located in Fancy Gap VA. We are looking for a couple to manage our 85 RV/tent sites campground.
One person is needed for office work to include but not limited to, making reservations in person and on line. The second person will be needed for outside work such as assisting guests with their RV needs, light maintenance and maintaining the grounds, such as weed eating and mowing. Looking for a couple who are patient, as many of our guests are senior citizens, happy and have a pleasant personality. Must live onsite. Full hook up and salary.
