Live in Domestic Couple required for family in a rural contemporary residence, near Rickmansworth. The family have 2 rescue dogs and 4 rescue ponies, the ideal couple must be animal friendly.

Must be flexible with days off as they will be required to look after the pets and home security in the family’s absence. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the building and its contents; features include 5 en-suite bedrooms, 2.5 acres of garden, indoor pool complex with gym. In addition, 2 local small tenanted properties are also owned by the family, you will be responsible for liaising with the tenants and carrying out repairs. A gardener is currently employed by the family, the gardener will provide instructions regarding weekly garden maintenance duties for each property. Accommodation for the live-in couple, is a self-contained fully furnished one-bedroom apartment, which includes an office/dining room, living room, kitchen and bathroom. All utility bills are paid for. This is a hands-on position requiring a high standard of cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping, gardening, general property maintenance, household security, driving duties and pet care. The successful couple will need to demonstrate trustworthiness, honesty and reliability. Hours are generally Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm, except in the absence of the family, when flexibility is required. Caretaker Couple for Country Residence - Seven Valleys, PA

Seeking capable couple to assist with and eventually take over the day to day property maintenance on a large residence/farm (160acres). This is a great oppurtunity for a couple to live in a private, relatively secluded, fully updated,mostly furnished farmhouse. Utilities will be the responsibility of the tenents, internet and satellite are available. Perfect for a qualified early retirement/empty-nest couple. This will be a long term employment for the right persons.
Must be familiar with all aspects of grounds maintenance, use and care of power equipment and light farm equipment (tractor with bucket, PTO and accessories). Owners are avid flower and vegetable growers and maintain a large landscaped property. Ample space available to grow your own or share in the harvest.
Weekly hours will vary and are mostly flexible. Hours likely to increase as caretakers assume more responsibility. Expect 20-30hrs/week early March through late October; and 10-12 hrs/week November through late February. Start as soon as early March 2019.
Compensation will be salary plus housing allowance. Salary will be determined by experience and ability to assume duties with minimal training and, or supervision. It is negotiable. This position may become full time if motivated individuals can perform general repairs, basic construction, homeowner plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. These are not requirements or expectations of this job.
Residence cleaning, routine and seasonal would be a welcome additional skill set. Dog walking/sitting may be necessary for brief periods when we are away. Will need to learn basic pool care. Utility vehicle, truck and car are available to use for job related duties and local use

Volunteer Position at Historic Cabins Park - Renfro Valley, KY

Our Cabin Village in Renfro Valley, Kentucky is searching for a volunteer couple to assist with the day to day operations of our historic cabin village. As this is a volunteer position, there is no pay associated with the hours, but you will be compensated with housing, including a partially furnished house including all utilities, TV, and internet. This is a historic cabin village, so we may ask that you do things according to the time period (see below).
Daily you will be expected to open the store and each of the cabins and set up for the day. Current hours are Thursday-Sunday from 10am-6pm. There may be some additional hours or change of hours if we see they are needed by visitors or when there is a concert at the nearby venue. Job description as follows and includes, but not limited to:
Store: Open the store and set up for the day. Light cleaning including dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, stocking, and reorganizing inventory is required. Will need the skills to use a tablet-based point of sale system for guest purchases. Will answer guest questions about the area and lead them to other tourist destinations in the county and possibly state. Encourage guests to visit the cabins.
Cabins: Tidy, clean, and maintain cabins. This may include light cleaning, maintenance including carpentry, sanding, painting, and other duties as assigned to keep cabins up. An understanding of basic maintenance duties is required.
Grounds: Some trimming, mowing, planning, pruning, and other lawn and grounds duties required. This is a small space and, if kept up, can be done in a day. These grounds hours are to be completed during opening hours and, if possible, done in a way that is consistent with the time period. A small vegetable garden will be required, and produce will be sold in the store as it becomes available.
This is a very unique opportunity for a couple who is self-motivated. You will be required to manage your own time and, for the most part, manage yourselves. Out of the box thinkers encouraged to apply! Costumes may be required for some weekends and will be provided by the Rockcastle County Tourism Commission. We are seeking a Family Camp Manager/Resort Manager who is devoted to maintaining the core values of the resort and welcoming guests with open arms and a smile. The Family Camp Manager/Resort Manager is the embodiment of the resort’s culture. While creating a top-notch guest experience, the Resort Manager is a strong leader responsible for the smooth operation of the resort and effective management of its staff.
We are open to an individual or a couple/pair who are interested in sharing these responsibilities (families welcome).
Responsibilities:

Lead the entire guest experience, from taking reservations during the off-season, communicating with guests prior to and during their stay on the island, and curating a memorable guest experience.

Alert guests to all recreational activities and options during their stay.

Manage staff to maintain overall cleanliness and operational standards of the resort.

Manage day to day activities with a close attention to detail - including the culinary experience, recreational activity experience, and housekeeping.

Manage a young staff (typically ages 17-28).

Proactive guest communication in order to retain current guests and attract new guests through surveys and direct marketing tactics.
