On-Site RV Park Couple - On Gorgeous Pismo Beach - Grover Beach, CA

A beautiful RV and mobile home park within 900’ of the beach - on the Central Coast of California has an immediate opening for an experienced couple who will provide outstanding, on-site customer service and maintenance of the daily operations of a multi-resident mobile home park and RV Park in Pismo Beach, California! The hired candidates will work under the direction of the On-Site Property Managers, and District Supervisor.
This is a permanent role working 3-4 days during low season, and 4-5 days during high season. We are not interested in short term candidates. Must be flexible with scheduling needs. Living on site is a requirement of the positions (you must provide your own RV).
The selected individuals will have two (2) years of experience in the appropriate position - with at least one (1) year of on-site experience in the Property Management, RV Park, or Mobile Home Park industry.
Office Position:
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), PDF software, and ideally reservation software.
- Customer Service (All ages, but experience dealing with seniors is a plus)
- Excellent telephone skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Basic bookkeeping
- Responding to customer emails
- Performs general administrative duties such as collecting and logging rents, filing, typing, mailing, and ordering supplies
- Tracking deadlines and meeting them without fail
- Understanding of legal issues relating to residents, and tenants and/or willingness to learn same.
Maintenance Position:
- Communicate and enforce community rules and regulations;
- Investigate resident complaints and issues and partner with management to determine the correct course of action;
- Receive service requests from residents, and route to the maintenance cue in coordination with property manager;
- Has regular and professional contact with residents, and vendors;
- Performs daily park maintenance such as landscaping, street cleaning, bathrooms, laundry room, office and other common areas;
- Painting of park owned facilities when needed;
- Assists with basic plumbing and electrical maintenance;
- Assists with construction / renovations on park owned rental properties;
- Ensures security of property by conducting regular park checks.
The couple will work the same days, and the typical schedule for these positions is 3-4 days per week in the low season; and 4-5 days per week in the high season. Workday is generally from 9am to 4:30pm (with a one-hour lunch).
Compensation for this hourly non-exempt position is dependent upon experience, and includes hourly wage for all hours worked, plus a full hook-up RV site and utilities (water, sewer, electric, and WiFi), plus free laundry facility. We also offer paid time off in the form of sick time, paid holidays, vacation time, and a generous pension plan (after waiting period). Our on the beach location is worth a million bucks!

Good driving skills required and the gentleman must have had experience driving in New York City.

Wanted: Summer Season 2019. We are looking for workamper couples who are physically fit, enjoy working hard, having fun and exploring the Black Hills of SD. We are a busy full service, family oriented campground, located in a beautiful valley in the Black Hills of SD. The campground sits on 23 acres between Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park, on the scenic Iron Mountain Road. Deer, turkey and big horn sheep are regular visitors to our campground.
Our positions include: housekeeping, store (reservations & retail), maintenance and café.
Housekeeping: Among other duties that could be assigned, this position involves cleaning and inventorying 19 cabins upon guest checkout, daily towel exchange, laundry, daily cleaning of shower house and toilet trailer.
Store: These positions require computer literacy as this role involves taking reservations on Campground Automation software system and QB POS registers for store purchases. Store positions must be able to multitask as they are responsible for guest relations, reservations, store sales, inventory control, check-ins and guest information. Candidates must be able to work well with others and have great customer service skills.
Maintenance: This position is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, including cabin repairs, lawn & grounds maintenance, pool upkeep, special projects and more. Candidates should have knowledge of construction, repairs of plumbing, electrical, etc. Also good mechanical skills.
Café & Coffee Shop: Our café serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. We serve sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizzas and breakfast type foods. We also have a full service coffee shop with espresso machine and Island Oasis blender. These positions require a basic knowledge of food prep or the willingness to learn. Menu is not complicated. This position includes 1 meal per shift plus tips.
We are looking for folks who enjoy serving guests, who are willing to work, can get along well with others, have a positive attitude and are willing to be flexible in their job assignments. We offer a 30 amp FHU site for 8 hours work per week per couple (4 hours per person) plus $10.00/hour for hours worked after the 4 hours per person for the site. Average work week is 25 – 40 hours each week. We also offer a VIP pass for free or reduced admission to most area attractions, store & café discounts, free wi-fi, free laundry, and more.
A typical work week consists of 5 days per week, 5-8 hours a day per person. Our work season runs approximately May 1st to mid-September.
