Private Upper East Side family seeks an experienced, highly organized, and thorough Domestic Couple to oversee and maintain their primary residence in New York City. This position is a Live-In, full-time position with a five day with overriding flexibility to working long hours as needed upon request. Private, independent accommodations will be provided with a private entrance.

The couple must be adept at anticipating the needs and wants of the principals. They must be proactive in their role as house couple. The couple must demonstrate a temperament that is very flexible to change and promote an air of calm and professionalism regardless of the situational stresses. Culinary experience or any certifications for one partner with strong sanitary and hygienic skills handling food and sanitizing the kitchen. The cooking partner will have experience working with strict nutrition requirements and diet guidelines to optimize a healthy lifestyle post-surgical procedure.

The selected couple will have experience working in a semi-formal home with the accompanying formal service but understand that for the most the culture of the home is informal unless the family is entertaining; however, the expectations for quality service and efficiency are high. Professional etiquette and discretion are of the utmost importance. The couple will oversee all housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and culinary needs of the residence at all times

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and providing full-time care of the family’s residence.
• Menu planning and cooking Lunch and Dinner for the family with an emphasis on fresh, organic produce
• Housekeeping skills including museum quality cleaning throughout the home with attention to special surfaces
• Laundry skills
• Overseeing vendors and contractors
• Walking dog as needed upon request
• Valet of clothes & shoes; packing and unpacking clothes for travel.
• Efficiently managing, cleaning & sanitizing the kitchen while keeping record of family and guest preferences
• Planning prep and oversight of dinner parties and other household events.
• Menu planning and cooking fresh proteins and produce from local vendors
• Personal Shopping, running errands, and stock procurement & inventory of supplies.
• Light maintenance including handyman responsibilities
• Heavy organization throughout the home including pantries, kitchen, closets, etc.

Requirements:

• Strong command of English language and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Minimum 5+ years related professional experience serving as a Domestic Couple for a private family
• Exceptional organization skills and multitask management;
• Culinary experience or any certifications for one partner REQUIRED
• ServSafe certified a MAJOR PLUS
• Family style and plated cooking and wine knowledge and pairing required
• Housekeeping skills with museum quality cleaning and care for antiques, silver, fine art, special surfaces, etc.
• Laundry skills
• Must be comfortable around dogs
• Professional mindset and manor; constant use of discretion and confidentiality a must
• Incredibly “hands-on,” – able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong property management skills including maintenance, handyman/houseman skills
• Family style and plated cooking and wine knowledge and pairing required
• Ability to perform formal and informal food and beverage service, setting tables and arranging flowers a must
• Able to work in an environment with teenagers
• Valid Drivers License; confident drivers with zero points
• Willing and able to travel domestically with principals to secondary residence

Salary: $110,000-$130,000 per year; plus potential for annual discretionary bonus. All salaries are Dependent On Experience and References, and all candidates must be willing to submit themselves for a Federal Background Check

Domestic Live In Couple - Sacramento , CA

HIRING: Domestic Couple for a lake front home in Sacramento 

 Domestic Couple for an informal residence located in the Sacramento area. The successful applicants will be responsible for the domestic/handy operation of the residence and are seeking a long-term (5+ years) placement 

 Primary Responsibilities

• Management of daily housekeeping, including hands-on support while the 2 part-time housekeepers are off which includes dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and care of fine furnishings, fixtures, fabrics, finishes, and surfaces for 8,000 sq ft home
• If needed daily laundry, ironing and steaming; wardrobe management packing and unpacking
• Special projects include, but not limited to, quarterly deep cleans, household cupboard and closet cleaning and reorganization
• Preparing some meals; this includes menu planning with the principal and kitchen clean-up afterward
• Planning and assisting with private dinners and social gatherings at the home
• Household inventory and grocery shopping
• Excellent communication skills, politely and professionally greet guests, answer the telephone and record messages, receive packages
• Management and supervision of vendors and trades for regular maintenance, seasonal maintenance and other special projects
• Management and monitoring of household mechanical systems as well as household inventories and security while the principal is away
• Other duties as required from time to time
• All handyman needs, if work is out of the scope of handyman, then calling vendors to bid and do job. 
• Excellent management of outside vendors and housekeepers/landscapers/poolman. Maintain and establish good relationships with vendors always keeping the principals in mind when dealing with vendors and representing them well. 

 Qualifications

• Excellent housekeeping and laundry skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes, fixtures, surfaces and fabrics
• Must possess excellent time management skills, be punctual, courteous, possess keen attention to detail and follow through on all projects assigned

• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercising diplomacy, discretion and respect of boundaries

Domestic Couple for Large, Family Vacation Home - Nantucket, MA

Seeking Mature Live-In Couple for large, family vacation home to be responsible for all housekeeping, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, weekend cooking & meal service, gardening, lawn maintenance, general home maintenance. Permanent position.

We feel that this position is best suited for a mature couple who is willing to work hard during the season, which includes every weekend, and who may enjoy the extensive down time during the winter months.  The off season is very low key, as the island population dwindles and the seasonal business shut down.  If you are looking for a job that keeps you busy all week, year round, this is probably not a good fit.  We spend, on average, a total of two months per year at the property.  It is not full-time throughout the year and, therefore, ideally suited for a semi-retired couple.  Additionally, the salary is reflective of the scope of work required for this position.

Weekends May-Sept. are very busy! Right candidates will be highly organized, honest, completely trustworthy, have a kind and friendly disposition, able to work independently and well together.  Must be willing to work hard throughout summer season (including all weekends). Meticulous in cleaning, you will be full charge housekeeping, turning over bedrooms (we have 9) for our many houseguests, washing and pressing of family laundry and household linens.  Full meal preparation and service generally once a week. Work Camper Couple - Canon City, CO

Currently seeking outgoing couples to join us as Camp Hosts for the 2019 summer season (April 22 thru October 1).

Couples will work together with one working in our office taking reservations, checking in guests, processing payments, and handling merchandise sales. The other individual will work outside escorting guests to their sites, cleaning sites, keeping bathhouse clean, as well as some light maintenance.
