Maintenance and Camp Hosts/Clerks - Shelter Cove, CA

We are a small secluded fishing and hiking town located in Northern California on the Lost Coast. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean and the beautiful black sands beaches. We are a 103 RV and tent Campground with a market and a Deli and we are seeking a couple to fill the positions of a maintenance person and a camp host/clerk.
We specifically need a qualifiled maintenance person with some electrical and plumbing to work the grounds. Included would be lawn maintenance, some painting, cleaning of bathrooms and laundry room. The camp host would be responsible for taking reservations and recording them in our books. We do not use a software program. Everything is done manually.
The positions are seasonal from May 1st to end September beginning October. They pay $11.00 per hour for every hour worked. Hours would be between 30 - 40 hours a week each. They offer a full hookup site for $300.00 a month.

I am looking for people that have experience with Horses. If you can drive a team that is great. I can teach you if you can meet the requirements. You need to be fit enough to be able to climb into the front seat of the wagon. I also am looking for people that can drive pickup with horse trailers. You need to be able to harness up 19 hand horses, load them in the trailer and hook them to the wagon and drive them on the trails. You will be required to tell the History as you travel along. We teach you the History and you can research it yourself. I am looking fr Dutch Oven cooks that can do presentations as they cook the meals.
You must be able to set up camp. I have a large Cook tent ,on our 3 and 5 day treks that needs to be set up prior to the wagons arrival. We have people from all over the world that come for our rides and you will need to discuss history with them. Season starts May about 15th and goes until about Oct 1st. I have RV hook ups. We don't usually have trips going every day. So time to travel about as well. This is exciting and fun meeting people from all over. We also offer bus tours along the trail,so you would need to be able to drive the bus and give historic stories as you travel along.

duties would include
grounds maintenence- mowing, weed whacking
splitting wood with wood splitter
cleaning 3 cabins and laundry.
the first couple of weeks would require more hours of spring clean up. The rest of the season would be general upkeep of the grounds and occassional cleaing of cabins.and laundry apprx 10-15 hrs per week per person.
would like someone with capenrtry skills as I need to have handicap ramp built and table tennis game.
this is very part time and flexible for the most part. would allow you time to explore the Poconos or even work at one of the resorts or nearby waterparks or one of the many tourist activities such as white water rafting.

We are in search of work campers to work part-time at our campground during our on-season (April-October). The campground is open year-round but there may not be significant hours available during the off-season).
We are located 30 minutes east of Albuquerque in the town of Edgewood.
We have multiple areas of work at the campground. You may be assigned to a particular area but could always be asked to help out in other areas depending on the need:
- Front Desk
- Reservations
- Propane refills
- Housekeeping
- Maintenance – including light plumbing and electrical

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
- Long periods of standing (75%), or sitting
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
- Requires the use of hands/fingers to handle or feel
- Able to travel by air and auto
- Able to work inside and outdoors frequently and in various climates
- Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain
