Our community has two large multi purpose rooms, beauty salon, two libraries, wood shop, craft rooms indoor pool and spa.

Outside we have a pickleball court, koi ponds, large covered gazebo, picnic areas, raised vegetable gardens,  and beautiful landscaped walking paths.

This is a family owned and operated community and the family remains in the active day to day operations for the last 30 years

This is a lead position, requires energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate couple.

Will be interacting with seniors and leading activities frequently.

Office skills:  MS Word, Excel and Publisher, maintain rentrolls, create monthly calenders, weekly fliers, coordinate with vendors, create marketing materials and conduct community tours.

Light maintenance work includes: apartment maintenance, hanging pictures, setting up tvs, changing light bulbs, batteries etc as needed,  Monitor and maintain pool and chemicals as needed, Coordinating with maintenance staff for larger maintenance projects.

Some bus driving required.  We have two community busses, one of which requires a CDL drivers license ( CDL w/pass endorsement req)

This position leads and directs maintenance staff, housekeeping staff and landscape vendor.

Background check and references required, prior exp in similar job preferred, this is a drug and alcohol free work environment.

About the House Parents

The House Parent is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment for children ages 5-18 residing at the ranch. The House Parent serves as a positive role model, mentor, and primary caregiver, contributing to the social, emotional, behavioral, and daily living skills development of the residents. This role requires a dedicated and compassionate couple who can create a home-like atmosphere and work collaboratively with a team of professionals.

The House Parents’ responsibilities include:

Direct Care and Supervision:

Provide consistent supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the assigned cabin. 

Implement daily routines and schedules, including wake-up, meals, homework time, chores, recreational activities, and bedtime.

Provide individual and group guidance to children, fostering positive social interactions and life skills development.

Manage behavior according to established policies and procedures, using positive reinforcement and appropriate disciplinary techniques.

Accompany children to appointments (medical, dental, etc.) as needed.

Administer medications according to established protocols

Creating a Positive Living Environment:

Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment.

Foster a sense of community and belonging among children.

Plan and participate in recreational, social, and cultural activities.

Promote healthy habits, including hygiene, nutrition, and exercise.

Support and Guidance:

Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating responsible behavior and healthy coping mechanisms.

Provide emotional support and guidance to children, building trusting relationships.

What you bring

Education and experience

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License 
  • 3 years of experience working with children or youth in a residential, educational, or social service setting is preferred.  
  • Experience working with specific populations (e.g., at-risk youth, youth with behavioral challenges, youth with disabilities) preferred.

Facility Maintenance-basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, familiarity with generatiors/battery/inverter systems, snow equipment maintenance/operation, and light construction/carpentry.

This is a hands-on management position, and duties/responsibilities vary with the seasonal aspects of the property. Lodge couple will be working with onsite Outfitter couple who manage the pack station and assist with guest services, maintenance and snow removal during winter months.  Property leadership will be provided by the Operations Director & Pack Station Manager who have been on site for the past three years.

Willing to look at individuals with skill and experience listed above, focusing on chef or high-end cooking experience.
