FEATURED JOB OPENING: Motel Management Couple - Peach Springs, AZ

Grand Canyon Caverns and Inn is a beautiful complex with Motel 12 miles east of Peach Springs on Historic Route 66 in Northern Arizona. We sport a 48 room Motel, several Bunkhouses, an RV Park, restaurants, gift store, gas station, rodeo arena, airplane landing strip (l37) and a famous Cavern Suite 220 feet underground. The Caverns are our main attraction; 220 feet underground, it is considered one of the biggest dry caverns in the U.S.
We are looking for a couple to manage and maintain the Motel area, front desk, convenience store and small self-service gas station.
This is a quaint place literally in the middle of nowhere! Our 800 acre property is at milepost 115 off the historic Route 66 about a 100 miles away from the Grand Canyon National Park. Our Cavern is a tourist attraction in and of itself and is a fascinating place with an interesting history! We are located at an elevation of 5200 feet, so not as hot as most people think with some snow in the winter months.
The hired couple will be provided with a 2 bedroom apartment attached to the Main Motel building to allow them to manage operations, greet guests and be available for late night arrivals. They will also be responsible for light maintenance, as we have full time maintenance staff on site. It is our slow season for the next 6 months, but we do keep the doors open. The position is a salaried position paid monthly for the 2 people.

This is a volunteer position for singles, couples or teams. Park Hosts live in the park and the Parks Department provides a Full Hook-Up Site, which includes paid electric, water, sewer and trash service.
Duties include managing reservations, helping campers, wood and ice sales, emptying garbage cans, general grounds keeping including raking, weed eating and blowing leaves, cleaning fire pits and bathrooms/showers. Park Hosts are on duty for 5 consecutive days per week and must be present in the park on those days.
Hosts MUST have their own RV and bring with them excellent customer service skills. Candidates must pass a national background check and provide references.

ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY: Providence Pass is one of America’s elite residential therapeutic program and education center for at-risk youth. We are currently serving young women ages 13 to 17. Located near Walt Disney World, Providence Pass offers year-round residential care in a first class setting. We have approximately 20 students.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible to encourage and mentor the spiritual development of the students
· Execute the daily operations of the program
· Facilitate intake and exit operations
· Monitor phase development, productivity and growth in the program
· Plan and lead daily house meetings

· Oversee medication responsibilities in a digital system

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· 2+ years of direct care experience in a residential environment with at-risk youth or similar experience
· Supervisory experience in a residential environment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

SALARY/BENEFITS: Per person: $30,000 to start/year plus health insurance (company pays 1/2)
SCHEDULE: 7 DAYS ON, 7 DAYS OFF (Work 26 weeks a year.). Room available while on shift but may need to flex or rotate with other team. Shift is Thursday to Thursday.
Preference will be given to those individuals with previous experience working with adolescents in a therapeutic residential or group living environment.

Full Job Description:
The couple is responsible for all phases of the operation of the property, including, but not limited to, general administration and management, maintenance, and leases and sales. The couple must adhere to all applicable fair housing laws.
Administrative tasks include:
1. Collect rents and handle delinquent accounts
2. Making rent deposits
3. Recording rent payments
4. Adhere to all appropriate company accounting directives, including, but not limited to, petty cash reports, summary reports, and special accounting items
5. Processing invoices for payment
6. Maintaining resident files and records
7. Process utility readings
8. Prepare general property correspondence
9. Collect loan payments on homes financed by affiliate companies
10. Prepare and process leases and related forms
11. Undertake credit checks for new tenants (conferring with home office)
Management tasks include:
1. Receive and resolve complaints
2. Assist in planning residents activities
3. Rent vacant sites
4. Handle all details of move-ins and move-outs, giving special attention to mobile home inspections prior to move-ins
5. Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well maintained community
6. Work within the established budget and notify the management of any possible variations
7. Work with residents and resident organizations
8. Report accidents and emergency situations to the home office immediately and prepare the proper reports
9. Ensure tenants adhere to park rules and regulations
10. Keep current with rules and regulations of state manufactured housing laws
11. Communicate with home office on a regular basis to report status of the property
12. Advise of any mobile homes in the community that are being offered for sale by the residents
Maintenance tasks include:
1. Physically examine the property on a regular basis
2. Purchase supplies for the community
3. Maintain pools, landscaping, utilities, roads, signage, clubhouse and other items that may be required
4. Mowing common areas, vacant sites and inventory home sites
5. Prepare inventory homes to sell or rent
6. Generally maintaining and improve the quality of the community
7. Maintain public areas in a clean and safe fashion
8. Supervise outside contractors working on the property
9. Adhere to all maintenance and purchasing directives including but not limited to
* Property inspections
* Maintenance assignments
* Utility system readings and controls
* Landscaping and grounds
* Safety

10. Maintain all personal property including landscape equipment, office equipment, etc.
Leases and Sales tasks include:

Spring 2021 Work Campers - Townsend, TN

The site we have reserved for you is A5 (42’ site) and is pretty shady, level, and includes a stone pavered patio, stone fire pit with grill grate, picnic table, full hook-up, Wi-Fi, and cable.
You will each work up to 6-8 hours per day, for up to 5 days a week for a combined total of up to at least 30-40 hours a week (with a minimum of at least 20 hours/week). We will give you at least two (2) consecutive days off every week to explore the area together. Compensation includes a full hookup site with cable TV and wireless internet service (valued at around $850 per month). You will be paid an hourly rate at $10 per hour. As noted below, the value of your site will be excluded from your gross income for federal tax purposes. There is potential for a bonus at the end of your stay upon satisfactory completion of this agreement.
At any time during your stay, if we feel that adequate service is not being given, there is a chance we may ask you to leave at any time.
Your typical daily duties will include the below:
