property management team of two (5 days per week).

The property managers must be energetic, outgoing self-starters who have excellent sales,

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

 Responsible for the sales, marketing, occupancy, and delinquency management of the facility.
 Rentals kept at optimum levels by effectively utilizing advertising, promotional and customer
relation skills as approved by management.
 Provide outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems,
professionally handling telephone and walk in inquiries, and effective follow up of email and
internet sales leads.
 Show, rent, and clean vacated storage units and RV spaces. Inspect and clean the halls,
walkways, drives, and decks for the storage facility as needed.
 Maintain all required tenant documentation and daily accounting records in a neat and orderly
manner as directed by management.
 Control delinquencies through telephone contact, sending letters, emails, invoices, and legal
notices as scheduled by management.
 Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and secure facility. Make periodic daily lock, building, and yard
checks. Team will be responsible for performing all maintenance duties as needed.
 Office managements, including but not limited to, opening and closing the office on time each
day, keeping and balancing petty cash, making daily bank deposits, and preparing daily,
weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.
 Price shop all competition monthly to ensure that we stay competitive in our pricing and
promotions.
 Assist in preparing units for auction as prescribed by law and approved by management.
 Effectively communicate with management and fellow associates.
 Resident managers will be responsible for responding to the security alarms when the office is
closed.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

 Prior management experience is required. Customer service, retail sales, marketing, general
office and telephone skills are a plus.
 Good organizational skills, excellent team building skills, and an understanding of accounting
and finance required.
 Strong work skills with Microsoft Office Products: Word and Excel. Applicants must be
knowledgeable and experienced in internet sales and marketing.

EDUCATION

 High school diploma
 Strong work ethic and values is a must.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 Applicants must be able to do desk/office work for 6 hours or more.
 Medium to heavy lifting, must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
 Looking for a person who is familiar and/or handy with light maintenance skills, i.e. door
repairs, changing lighting, refastening metal partitions as needed etc.
 Applicants will be responsible for sweeping aisles, decks, building hallways, and maintenance
of the exterior of the facility, as well as clean and prep vacated units for rental etc.
 Please note that some of these duties require using a 10-foot ladder, so applicant must be
comfortable working in heights/ladders.

 50% paid health coverage after a 90-day probationary period. 
 Resident managers provided with a newly remodeled approx. 1100sq ft. two-bedroom, one-
bath apartment with all utilities paid excluding phone and internet as compensation for part
of salary. Apartment has been recently remodeled including new appliances, all new kitchen
cabinets, new bathroom, new countertops and new hardwood flooring throughout, also
(includes a washer/dryer with laundry station).
 One-week paid vacation after qualifying period of continued employment first year and two-
week vacation thereafter.

Requirements include:

  • Must be willing and able to travel 100%, including weekends.
    • 340+ days OTR per year for full-time.
    • 270+ days for the 9 consecutive month seasonal agreement or 3 /1 quarterly agreement
  • Both team members must be competent in basic technical skills such as computer skills, internet, email etc.
  • (CDL Driver & Helper Teams) Must be physically fit - Need ability to climb in and out of work vehicles, walk to and from work sites, climb stairs, carry and load and set up equipment and cables/power cords, bend and stoop, sit and stand for long periods.
  • (Standard License Teams) Must be physically fit – this is a HIGHLY physical team role. Must be able to lift heavy equipment (30-75 lbs) in and out of work vehicles and carry/drag equipment to and from work sites on a daily basis, climb in and out of work vehicles, bend and stoop, walk to and from work sites and up and down stairs, and sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working without direct supervision.

  • Must complete approx. 6 weeks of training and certification (PAID training provided).

With a fleet of mobile retail stores spanning the United States and brick-and-mortar retail locations in Northern Indiana, we are committed to providing exceptional service and premium products to the medical community.

 

As an Area Sales Route Driver /Team at Scrubs on Wheels, you will be the face of the company, traveling across the sales area, conducting sales in our mobile uniform store at facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals. Providing excellent customer service and keeping a professional and clean mobile store will be paramount to your success. Sales take place on site at the facility inside of our mobile retail store.

 

We provide each Area Sales Route Driver/Team with a 38-foot gooseneck trailer that is pulled with a company-provided one ton Dually. Each mobile store is equipped with heat & air that utilizes a generator.

 

A typical work week consists of 8 to 10 sales events within the sales area. Typically, sales events are conducted twice a day Monday – Friday. Sales times can vary depending upon size of facility and are usually 2-4 hours each.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires traveling for up to five days at a time, staying in comfortable hotels. Company pays for fuel and hotel as well as a daily meal stipend.
  • Clean driving history and ability to obtain DOT physical card and Class A CDL.
  • Overnight travel 3-4 days a week.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Travel across the sales area, conducting sales in our mobile uniform store.
  • Receive inventory, stock, clean and maintain clean professional mobile store.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to achieve sales goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the region.
  • This position requires traveling for 3-4 days a week overnight. The company pays for fuel and hotels costs as well as offering a daily meal stipend.
