Must be a friendly, customer service focused team.  Nice 2 bedroom, one bath house with covered patio and fenced yard & utilities provided free as part of compensation.  This is a great opportunity to live and work together. 

Our hired team will need to have computer entry skills, exceptional telephone and people skills, office skills and facility maintenance skills. Must have a current valid drivers license and reliable transportation to make deposits to bank, etc. Couple MUST live onsite.  

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & 1/2 day Sunday - Days off are Wednesday and Thursday 

Office Hours:  8-6pm Mon-Saturday and Noon - 5pm on Sunday

Work Hours:  Flexible between couple - Office MUST be covered when open

Compensation: salary + housing and utilities

House:  2 bedroom, 1 bath, covered patio and fully fenced backyard -- w/ power, water, sewer, garbage and natural gas provided. Pets are welcome!

This job will require two people, 35- 40 hours a week. A relief manager is provided to cover for managers on their scheduled days off or vacation time.  

Duties include general office, sales, computer bookkeeping, rentals, collections and light maintenance. Requirements: Must have a strong background in customer service, sales, marketing, strong communication skills and experience with Windows based personal computer applications. Previous experience in storage industry a plus.Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours per day

With a fleet of mobile retail stores spanning the United States and brick-and-mortar retail locations in Northern Indiana, we are committed to providing exceptional service and premium products to the medical community.

As an Area Sales Route Driver /Team at Scrubs on Wheels, you will be the face of the company, traveling across the sales area, conducting sales in our mobile uniform store at facilities such as nursing homes and hospitals. Providing excellent customer service and keeping a professional and clean mobile store will be paramount to your success. Sales take place on site at the facility inside of our mobile retail store.

We provide each Area Sales Route Driver/Team with a 38-foot gooseneck trailer that is pulled with a company-provided one ton Dually. Each mobile store is equipped with heat & air that utilizes a generator.

A typical work week consists of 8 to 10 sales events within the sales area. Typically, sales events are conducted twice a day Monday – Friday. Sales times can vary depending upon size of facility and are usually 2-4 hours each.

REQUIREMENTS

Requires traveling for up to five days at a time, staying in comfortable hotels. Company pays for fuel and hotel as well as a daily meal stipend.

Clean driving history and ability to obtain DOT physical card and Class A CDL.

Overnight travel 3-4 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel across the sales area, conducting sales in our mobile uniform store.

Receive inventory, stock, clean and maintain clean professional mobile store.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to achieve sales goals.

Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the region.

This position requires traveling for 3-4 days a week overnight. The company pays for fuel and hotels costs as well as offering a daily meal stipend.

Drivers are required to maintain hours of service logs as required by FMCSA.

Plan and optimize driving routes for efficient sales visits.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in sales, preferably in a regional or territory management role.

Experience in account management and maintaining an elevated level of customer satisfaction.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.

Excellent sense of direction and the ability to take and follow directions.

Class A CDL – We are willing to provide training to the right candidate.

A clean, verifiable driving record for commercial purposes.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while working without direct supervision.

Competent in basic technical skills such as computer skills, internet, email etc.

Possess the physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

SKILLS

Primary Responsibilities

Boat care: cleaning, fuelling, basic maintenance, and readiness checks
Landscaping: road maintenance, mowing, watering, and tidying outdoor spaces
Housekeeping: maintain the cleanliness of two homes and guest areas
Basic monitoring: report any issues with systems, property, or equipment
Run errands by boat when needed (supply pick-ups, etc.)
Pet care: Feeding & care for 2 pets 

Requirements

Must be able to safely operate a boat (25 foot power boat) 
Comfortable with basic maintenance tasks and physical work
Reliable, self-directed, and able to work independently
Clean, organized, and respectful of a private home environment
Experience in off-grid or remote locations is an asset

Our community is a mix of owner-occupied manufactured homes, RVs, and park rentals. It is age restricted, for 55 years old and older. Our 5 acre waterfront property is adjacent or close to the 71,000 acre Point Reyes Seashore National Park, the 2,000 acre Tomales Bay State Park and the 14 mile long Tomales Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Enjoy the Point Reyes National Seashore with hiking, biking, bird-watching, and kayaking just outside your backdoor.

 

There is a 2,500 square foot onsite restaurant with a type 47 liquor license now vacant on the property that needs to be opened in conjunction with the Resort to achieve the Resort's goals.

Qualifications desired:

• A hospitality personality, a teaming philosophy, a can do attitude and flexible nature
• Hotel and/or Restaurant management experience. Restaurant additional experience also very helpful.  A possible restaurant joint-venture ownership with the hotel can be discussed.
• A desire to find a home, build a career, take pride in what you have helped accomplish, and be rewarded for your efforts
• Live onsite in a spacious one bedroom apartment
• Computer, writing, minor bookkeeping, and marketing skills

Some Duties:

 

  • Responsibility for day-to-day operations including overseeing and managing the hotel front desk, housekeeping and maintenance departments, including working shifts on those departments as needed.
  • Minor handyman projects.
  • Daily interaction with guests and employees in a professional and tactful manner.
  • Restaurant participation to be discussed.
  • Provide overnight safety and security for the Resort at all times, shared with other onsite team members.
