Located near Augusta, MT a large ranching operation seeks an experienced couple to support a private residence and manage recreation

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Organize and prepare residence for pending visits • Prepare meals for owner and guests;grocery shopping and maintaining inventory of household supplies • Hosting special events; providing hospitality to guests as required • Providing hands-on housekeeping • Overseeing maintenance of household and property, including basic handyman services • Management of landscaping and exterior maintenance • Coordinating outside contractors and vendors as required • Overseeing the development of 1,100 acre bird hunting preserve • Development of food plots and installing shelter belts • Coordinating with ranch managers with regards to future habitat development • Assisting with stream and wetland restoration crew as needed • Guiding fly fisherman on Sun River, spring creeks, and private lakes • Guiding upland bird hunters with self trained dogs • Training three English Labradors and kennel management • Service and maintain all hunting and recreational equipment • Operating equipment including skid-steer, loader, tractor, and excavator • General farm and ranch work

Position is full time salaried and open until filled. Salary will commensurate with experience. Work truck and housing provided.

Dude Ranch Foreman Couple - Big Sky, MT

We are looking for an active outdoors oriented couple who are interested in the hospitality industry. This job requires physical work and long hours so being physically fit is critical.

The Man would be the head corral boss during the summer season. The duties would include overseeing and directing 6-8 barn staff and maintenance personnel, managing and organizing the daily rides for our guests, training of young horses, Packing, small vet and hoof care, fencing and overall maintenance needs for the ranch. As the guest season slows in September the duties will switch to more maintenance and construction throughout the winter on different plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and metal projects. There will be some horse work in the winter mostly training of young horses. Prior horse experience and being physically fit to ride young horses is necessary. This job is physically demanding and one must be able to lift heavy weight and do physically demanding work.

The woman would be the head cook during the summer season. The duties would include overseeing and directing 6-8 kitchen and cleaning staff, managing and organizing all meals for both guests and crew, ordering supplies and food, and overseeing cabin cleaning. As the guest season slows in the fall the duties will switch to more secretarial work such as answering the phone, taking reservations, answering emails, and some cooking. Prior computer skills and a friendly attitude are a must for this job. This job is long hours in the summer season.

Full-Time Ranch couple position in Meridian, Texas, 90 miles SW of Dallas. Domestic heavy for care of owners and guests. This is their 2nd home. They are in residence 2 to 3 weekends a month, usually with guests. Beautiful rural location overlooking hills and valleys.

Job duties include general housekeeping and organization, supply acquisition, meal preparation, serving, and clean-up. Grounds keeping and outdoor upkeep, vehicle care, pool maintenance, handyman duties, window cleaning, laundry and flower/garden care. Knowledge of wildlife management, native grasses highly desirable.

This is a working cattle ranch, although cattle is not this couple's responsibility. Home is about 7500 square feet with 7 bedrooms. Principals would like property to be guest-ready at all times. Must be proactive and have a heart for service. Would like to hire a Couple with excellent people skills and a strong work ethic.

Compensation includes a salary, and a 4 bedroom home and utilities located on the ranch. Ideal for empty-nesters, looking for long-term home. Flexible start date, but mid-December is the goal.
