Grass Fed Grazing Dairy Farm producing Farmstead Yogurt, Kefir, Greek Yogurt and Cheeses for Wholesale Distribution seeks a dairy farm couple or family to live and work on the dairy. Duties include assiting in milking Ayrshire cows, feeding calves, pasture management, routine dairy tasks, processing grass fed milk into yogurt, kefir, greek yogurt and aged cheeses.

 We also have a farm store on site that needs minding. Housing provided on a beautiful 100 acre dairy farm with woods and a trout stream bordering the property. Mechanical or carpentery skills are a plus. Business background is a plus.  This is demanding work but we value time off and family comes first.  A committment to cow welfare is mandatory.  Cleanliness is mandatory. Good communication skills are mandatory as we are a team that depend on one another to make this complex system work as it should. No drugs, excessive drinking or such vices are tolerated. House Keeping Team Members (Also Individual Position Available) - Asheville, NC

Our campground is centrally located in the beautiful Smokey Mountains!  We are close to Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and many great area attractions.  We are looking for a working couple to add to our team to promote a "Making it GREAT" service for our guests.  

This position will be responsible for overall cleanliness of the campground building and facilities.  (i.e. bathhouses, laundry room, recreation room, Deluxe Cabins, and other units, etc.)with the goal of provide great service.  Specific Duties: * Implement the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning programs of specific buildings and facilities as outlined by immediate supervisor or manager.  * Provide excellent and friendly Making it Great guest service delivery by being attentive, responsive and helpful to all guests needs.  Greet the guests at every opportunity by demonstrating a friendly welcome.  * Present a positive impression with a well-groomed appearance, smiles and proper KOA uniform and name tag.  *Submit a list of supplies (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, etc.) that need to be replenished on as as needed basis to your supervisor/manager.  * Report broken or damaged items within the KOA buildings, facilities, and premises to the owners/managers. * Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the owners/managers and follow-up to resolve the issue if possible.  *Perform all other duties assigned by the owner/manager.  Physical requirements: must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed and 25 lbs on a routine basis.  Periods of standing, bending, and kneeling and walking will be required.

We are asking for 20 hours work in exchange for the RV site you will be staying in. Water/electricity/sewer/cable and wi-fi are included.  An allowance for laundry will also be given.  Other benefits and compensation may apply if you are interested in the position.

This position is available from mid-April through October and is part-time with options for more hours.  Applicants must have their own RV.
