Friendly Workcamper Couple Needed for 2017 Season - Almond (Near Waupaca and Stevens Point, WI
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We have one opening for a workcamper couple for our 2017 season. We would you need you ASAP and until September 30, 2017.
You would be responsible as a couple for 24 hours of coverage in and around the clubhouse. The hours will consist of office hours involving manning the office, cleaning of the clubhouse, clubhouse bathrooms, and laundry building. The office will be open 7 days a week and the hours will be split with our other Workamper couple or volunteer hosts. The office hours will be 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch break.
Typical duties include:
• cashiering, taking inventory and preparing lists for cleaning and paper goods needed, assisting members with items needed.
• assisting customers checking in/out of the campground for corporate lot camping.
• assisting with special events: hot dog roasts, pancake breakfasts, rallies, etc.
• propane tank filling once you are certified by our supplier. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• watering the plants and flowers around the clubhouse • lawn mowing and weed eating the common areas of the park including, around the clubhouse, around the rally field and pavilion, around the mini-golf area, around the front gate, and around the corporate rental lots.

We are seeking work campers on our farm located in beautiful Naples, Florida. We are located on a private 2.5 acre wooded lot, only a short drive to the gorgeous white sand beaches of Marco Island and just outside of Collier-Seminole State Park.
We are seeking strong, hard working individuals with an interest in homesteading. Skills such as construction/mechanical, gardening and animal husbandry are what we are looking for. This is not for someone looking for a vacation spot, we are looking for help to build a sustainable homestead for all involved. This is a potential long term living arrangement for the right person.

Cleans office and restrooms daily. Must be able to perform maintenance duties such as, drywall, painting, minor electrical, etc. Makes regular assessment of the condition of the property and resolves maintenance and cleaning issues. • Maintains a neat, clean, safe and secure facility including minor maintenance and daily lock checks as well as visual inspection daily • General management of the office including but not limited to opening and closing the office on time each day, keeping and balancing petty cash, making daily bank deposits and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by management • Assist in preparing units for auction, vacate as prescribed by law, and approved by management • Effectively communicates with management and fellow associates
WORKSKILLS: Basic computer operation required. Candidate must understand and be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferably experience using a self-storage software application but not required. Understanding of an automated gate system preferred but not required.
EXPERIENCE - QUALIFICATIONS: • Customer service, retail sales, marketing, general office and telephone skills are all requirements for this position. This is not an entry level position; candidates must have experience in the categories listed above. • Prior self-storage experience preferred. • Good organizational skills and basic accounting practices. Successful record of accomplishment of sales and marketing skills in the self-storage or retail industry. General office functions and experiences required. Ability to pay close attention to detail.

This property is 16 Acres and the home itself is 5000+ square foot with 8 bedrooms. The home was built in the early 1900’s and has been tastefully restored. It’s a comfortable country home with breathtaking vistas, a swimming pool, pool house and vineyards. Applicants should bear in the mind that this is a family home so a family-oriented couple who do not have young children of their own would be idea. The “guest cottage” which houses the current couple is adorable with privacy, its own garden and spectacular views.
