Mini Storage Management Couple - Exeter, CA

Being a self storage management couple means managing the day to day operations of the local self storage facility. This position is for a COUPLE only. Included in the compensation is a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath house, with all utilities paid. Please have both parties submit a resume.

Essential Functions:

Meet gross revenue targets set forth by the company ownership, through effective sales and marketing activities. Maintain designated office hours. Provide outstanding customer service in person and via telephone. Maintain professional, courteous relationships with existing and prospective customers. Maintain financial reporting and bookkeeping systems provided by employer. Daily surveillance of property to ensure protection of customers’ stored possessions, as well as company property and buildings. Keep property clean and in good repair at all times. Make bank deposits, purchase supplies and services as needed. Complete any collection activities that may be required of delinquent accounts. Any other duties designated by the owner..

Its not by accident that the first item on the list is sales and marketing. The most successful self storage management couples are extremely effective in the sales and marketing area. At least one of the management couple should be very comfortable on the telephone, as phone sales play a huge role in the success of the property. The vast majority of collections activity is also telephone-based.

The physical requirements of the job would encompass being able to bend, twist, lift, walk, etc. Keeping the property well maintained and clean is a daily task.

While both members of the self storage management couple needs to be familiar with the entire scope of operations, typically one of the team would focus on the sales/marketing/customer service aspects, while the other member would focus more on the property maintenance, repairs and cleaning aspects.

A six-day work week is common in this field. Our office hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30 Saturday 8:00-5:30. Our office is closed on Sundays.

SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a two-person team (husband/wife or couple) for assistant caretaker & housekeeping/cooking positions in the Alaska Range. Accessible only by air, this remote, private wilderness lodge is located at the headwaters of the Stony River, surrounded by the stunningly beautiful Stony Mountains.

Responsibilities include: housekeeping, cleaning, cooking, building maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs (tractors, ATV's, generators, boat motors), and various support activities (satellite internet & TV, solar array). Successful applicants will have experience in management, cooking, housekeeping, mechanics, carpentry, and working in a remote setting. Experience with chainsaw, generators, tractor, carpentry tools & equipment is a must. A general knowledge of plumbing and electrical is a plus.

Employment period is June 1st to September 30th, 2017. This is a NO Smoking/NO Drinking position. Monthly salary, with room and board provided. Applicants without pets are preferred. If you are energetic, hard-working and love adventure and living a remote lifestyle this is the position for you.

We are seeking a talented couple that wants that bucket list dream job in beautiful Alaska. We are a small (500) people fishing village with daily jet service. Our lodge has been in operation for 15 years and has grown every year and we are constantly adding to the experience for our guests.

The lodge has always been a self guided lodge where are guest do all there own cooking, fishing and exploring. Last year we started offering other services such as cooking, daily cleaning, boat rentals and some fish processing.

Lodge can accomidate from 3-24 guest in 3 separate suites. This is a seasonal job of April/May to Sept/Oct. And can have some flexibility in dates. We would however like to find employees that come back year after year.

Job Tasks: Occasionally meet guest at airport (5 miles away) Always meet guest at lodge Basic maintanence and clean on 4 guest vans ( check fluids) Basic clean and maintanence on 4 run about boats (check fluids) Occasion family style cooking for up to 12 guest. (Could be more if capable) Handy man task around lodge when things break or need fixed. Clean suites between groups, usually one a week You will need to learn the area, the fishing holes (sorry you will need to go fishing) the local culture and locals them selves.

Professional Domestic Couple for Hamptons Home - Southampton, NY

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Domestic Couple for a home based in the Hamptons. Schedule will be full time, Monday-Friday, live-in or live-out optional.

Will be in charge of cleaning and organizing of the home, laundry, grocery shopping, stocking inventory, liasing with outside vendors, home maintenance, some cooking for the family, preparing for and serving large parties, and flower arrangements.

Should be a professional couple with experience working in a formal home.
