Working Motel Manager(S) - Princeton, BC

Duties will include, all front desk work including guest reservations, receiving of payment and remittance of same. Laundry duties as well as supervision of housekeeping staff including assisting when and where required.

On the Job training begins by Mid-July 2017. Position takes effect August 1st 2017. Accommodations and use of kitchen facilities provided during training period.  Will maintain general tidiness, as well as cleanliness, of all areas of the Motel. Ordering of supplies, payment of bills on behalf of the owner. Cleaning and maintenance of outdoor pool and pool deck area during the summer months. Monitoring behaviour and noise levels to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all guests. All aspects of the running of the Motel will be carried out under the supervision and participation of the successful applicant(s). - Motel owner will be on site a minimum of twice a month. - Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, and absolute fluency in English, both spoken and written, are essential. Applicants may be subject to a criminal background check. - must be Customer Service oriented, with a pleasant and friendly demeanour. - NO Pets please. - Previous experience is an asset but willing to train suitable candidate. - Bonus provision at the completion of each year of employment.
