Come and care for a beautiful mansion in Spain near the beach that is run as a Casa Rural (like a BnB). There are 7 rooms for guests, and a separate suite for live-in caretakers. The historic property is 45 minutes south of Barcelona in the wine growing region where Cava sparking wine is produced. It is just 10 minutes drive down the road to pristine local beaches. The property features a tranquil walled in garden. It is situated in a tiny village but also close to everything you might need (shopping, restaurants, etc.)

We are offering free lodging, utilities and small stipend in exchange for duties associated with maintaining the property, light gardening, receiving guests, and preparing the rooms for the next guests. Typically the mansion is rented out by groups (family reunion, anniversary, etc.) for 2 nights or sometimes the whole week. Prior caretakers have typically contributed some other skills to improving the property from renovation or construction projects to art projects. These projects may be negotiated in terms of payment.

Please apply if you are a COUPLE (not family with kids or pets), speak Spanish and English, and have the ability to live in Spain for 6 months to 12 months. No smoking inside the house permitted. Will consider candidates with great letters of reference and those who can submit a police background check. Experience in hospitality is welcome.

Fall & Winter RV Park Caretaking Position Seeking an RV individual to assist the Resort Managers with all aspects of day to day operations of a full service RV Resort in Harrison Hot Springs, BC

Applicants must have their own RV, 15 years old or newer and in excellent shape

Live on site from Oct.20 to March 2018 or beyond (unless otherwise specified by the managers)  Applicants shall be physically fit

 Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: General cleaning and re-stocking of all amenities

Pool checks and necessary maintaining of chemicals (which are closed from Nov.1-April 1st)

 Grounds maintenance, raking, weeding, lawn mowing, fall & winter garden clean up

 High level of customer service

Greeting all clients Ensuring grounds are secure nightly and checking on people entering the resort during the daytime. Overseeing the property for any threats either human or nature caused.

Remuneration will be the use of a site in exchange for property caretaking. Site includes 30 amp full service site (this includes water, sewer, power and WiFi). You pay your own Hydro. Work week will range from 14-25 hours per week depending on time of season. Must be willing to work weekends and be flexible with hours. Must be able to work well with and report to the Resort Managers and have strong communications skills.  Both of the couple need to be able to take direction, understand tasks and have good organizational skills. Successful applicants must submit a criminal record check prior to employment.
