Caretaking couple for rural NC farm in Coastal Plains - Pender County, NC

Caretaking couple needed on historic family property in Southeastern NC beginning January 15, 2018. This is a long-term position. Rural farm and woodlands, large house, guesthouse, and multiple outbuildings in a fairly isolated setting. Duties include mowing, tree and brush work, some gardening, security, exterior and interior building maintenance, consistent & comprehensive communication with owners, light housekeeping for infrequent family visitors.

Possible use of plot for organic fruit and vegetable gardening, if desired. Prefer someone who can keep an eye on adjacent family owned woodlands, also.

Guesthouse living quarters for you (980 sq ft) available, either furnished or unfurnished, includes TV Satellite dish, utilities, laundry, appliances. No dogs. No indoor pets. No smoking. In addition to rent-free living receive a small salary dependent on experience. Workload is about 650 hours per year/or about 12 hours per week.

Motel Manager Couple/Family - Franz Josef New Zeeland

Location: Franz Josef Region: South Westland, Glacier Country Experience: Motel manager couple or extended family wanted for busy motel in tourist village of Franz Josef. The complex is spacious and expanding for the coming season with six brand new units opening in December. Managers will work rostered days to ensure regular breaks. We are also looking for permanent part time workers to share the workload for a busy season ahead.

This opportunity could suit a large family with a substantial staff house on site overlooking beautiful countryside and mountain ranges. 12 month contract with ability to extend.

Duties include • Full daily running of busy motel, check ins, check outs, attending to guest needs, emails, cash handling, till balance, stocktake, oversee cleaning including rosters. • Assisting cleaners as required. • Ensuring the business has all necessary stock for operations. • You will be confident in dealing with any emergencies that arise. • On site health and safety management ensuring all staff and guests are cared for. • Weekly and monthly reporting to owners. • Selling services and experiences to all guests. • Caretaker duties including mowing lawns and weeding gardens. Skills required • Customer service experience preferably in hospitality. • Ability to consistently deliver high service standards across the business. • Staff management experience. • Basic practical skills to repair and maintain rooms and equipment. • You must be passionate about looking after your guests. You will be super friendly and have a warm personality. • You must be honest, reliable and take your responsibilities seriously. • Computer literacy is important and you will ideally have experience with accommodation channel managers and booking channels. • Flexible approach to work hours to manage operational and seasonal demands. • Strong desire to upsell and deliver sales targets to reap incentives. • Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. • Must be fluent in English. Start date 1st December 2017

Live In Domestic Couple for Upper East Side Home - New York, NY

A family on the Upper East Side is seeking a live in Domestic Couple for their home. This position will be 5 days per week, breakfast through dinner.

The Couple will be responsible for assisting the family in the move to a new home, deep cleaning of the home, driving when needed, laundry, and silver polishing, grocery shopping, caring for the family's dog when needed, cooking for the family, and cooking and serving for formal parties when the family entertains.

The ideal Couple will have previous experience in a formal home and with formal serving, will be flexible, pitch-in, will have positive attitudes, will be very organized, and will be autonomous. Must be eligible to work in the US, and have a minimum of 4years experience working in a private home.
