A Store Management Team works together to manage the day to day operations of a storage facility and provides a personal experience and excellent customer service to customers. Customer service is our #1 priority.
To help achieve facility goals, you'll utilize your strong sales and marketing abilities to rent storage units, U-Haul trucks, up-sell boxes and moving supplies, and increase brand awareness in the local community.
You'll learn how to use our self storage sales best practices to convert storage and truck rental prospects to customers.
You'll need to have a friendly, positive attitude and strong sales presence over the phone and in-person.
Create relationships with nearby area businesses and implement marketing strategies.
Moving can be very stressful for customers. Our job is to make it a bit easier for them by identifying our customer's needs, confidently create a PERSONALized solution by asking the right questions (e.g.. Do they need storage + rental truck + boxes?) and deliver an exceptional experience.
Manage daily payment flow (cash, check, and credit card balances) and making timely, error-free bank deposits.
Maintaining a clean, professional appearance inside the office and outside on the facility property. Managers spend a sufficient amount of time outside ensuring the property is clean and 'customer-ready' by sweeping units/aisles, performing lock-checks on units, and performing other general maintenance tasks. (light duty / light lifting)
Maintaining low accounts receivables by performing collection calls to delinquent tenants over the phone, keeping up-to-date notes on accounts, and by sending email notices and SMS/text message reminders through our software.

Excellent verbal and communication skills are key as you are the face and front line of the business. "You" will be the reason many customers choice to store their belongings with us vs. the competition.
Outgoing, engaging personality that takes a proactive role when handling customer requests/issues and daily tasks such as: calling new leads to reserve units, managing daily unit inventory, and replying back to existing customers in a timely manner.
Strong, general computer skills and competency is needed to navigate Windows operating systems, internet browsers, and other applications. You'll learn how to efficiently navigate and operate various software platforms used by the company to perform daily operations tasks.
Past job experiences in a customer-focused position such as in retail, sales associate, self storage, hotel industry, restaurant, and other industries. A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales, retail store, management, sales associate of retail jobs, or in customer service roles.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and willing to travel to other locations for staffing if needed.
The Store Management Team is a 2-person team, Two full time positions, primarily working at one of our storage facilities in Orlando, FL. (Plus, you'll never have to work on a Sunday!)

Hello Potential Camp Hosts!
Thank you for your interest in Camp Hosting at Northlake RV Park and Campground. We want to remind you that this is not a paid position. Below you will find an outline of our program. Please review and if you feel this is a program you would like to contribute to, please follow the details at the end.
The Program: We operate our park using Campground Master. If you are not familiar with this program, we will train you. You must be proficient in Word and email to work effectively with Campground Master.
Food Handlers Permit: We require all our camp hosts to obtain a WA State Food Handlers Permit. We will pay for the cost of the permit, and this will allow you to: bag ice, operate the popcorn machine, prepare Smore kits, and any other food related activities that may arise.
The Team: The Park operates best with 3 camp host couples, plus the owners. One host couple will reside in the new park expansion, and the other two hosts will reside near the office.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lawn care (mowing and weed control)
- light maintenance
- cabin cleaning (most have lofts)
- cabin laundry
- bathroom/shower/laundry room cleaning
- managing the office/store and checking in guests
- escorting guests
- bagging ice
- bundling firewood
- garbage collection
Camp Host Work Schedule:
We offer a rotating 3:3 work week, 3 days on, 3 days off. 6 hr. workday (per couple) to equal 18 hrs. in a work week and 24 hrs. in a 7-day calendar week. The hours are counted and worked as a couple. Here is an example of a typical workday:
9:00 am – 12:00 pm:
- Open and clean store/office. Review the days schedule and plan accordingly.
- Collect garbage
- Check dog park for water and misc.
- Wipe down sani-cans
- Clean bathrooms/showers/laundry.
- Clean cabins as needed
- Start laundry from cabins
- Check and turn RV sites as they empty out
12:00 pm -1:00 pm Lunch break
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm:
- Office. Check in guests and be available for camp shoppers
- Yard and Site care as needed
- 2nd garbage run as needed
- Escort campers to their site
- Bag Ice as needed
- Bundle and stock firewood as needed
Duties and hours may vary and subject to change, but generally begin at 9 am and end around 4 pm (+/-). Office hours of operation are from 9 am to 6 pm daily. Lunch hour and 4-6 pm and beyond are typically operated by the owners or a secondary host couple. In addition, we, the owners, will be taking a day off each week and need to leave the park in capable hands!
Day Off Activity Suggestions:
- Check out a canoe and explore the lake
- Check out any of our indoor/outdoor games for a competition event
- Take a trip across the border to Canada (assuming the border is open), it’s only 23 miles away
- Explore waterfalls in the area
- Take in the ambiance of our pioneer towns of Republic, Colville, Kettle Falls, and neighboring towns
- Need retail therapy: 90-mile drive to beautiful North Spokane
- Hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, fishing, swimming, etc.
- So much more to see and do!
Camp Host Perks include:
- Full hook up RV site (valued at $650 p/month)
- $60 laundry allowance p/month beginning the 1st of each month
- Free WiFi connection
- Firewood limited allowance
- Ice limited allowance
- Store allowance of $15 p/month, after that, you pay.
- Free canoe rental
- 1 North Lake RV Park polo style shirt to wear on Friday (busiest arrival day) or Holiday check in times. And 1 camp t-shirt to wear for fun. We provide magnetic name tags to be worn when working.
- You are provided with a set of walkie-talkies during your stay so that you can stay connected with the in’s and out’s during your time on/off.
- You are provided with one set of keys to the buildings. Please share with your spouse as needed.
Dates of Commitment:
May 1 – Sept. 15. The Park officially opens April 1, and our season kicks off on Memorial Weekend, end of May; however, we like our hosts to arrive by May 1 to help prepare for the season. There will be misc. projects to complete, painting, stocking, shopping for supplies, training, and a whole lot more fun! If you would like to arrive earlier than May 1 to help, we would gladly welcome you!
End of camping season concludes Labor Day weekend, first weekend of September. The month of September can still be busy even after the holiday, after which begins late family camping and hunting season through Thanksgiving.
We offer a $500 travel allowance to help get you here, and a bonus at the end of the season provided you fulfill your commitment and agreement.
About the park.
The Park was established in 1978 and sits next to the Kettle River where it meets the Columbia and joins Lake Roosevelt. NLRVP totals 47 acres (the majority is still undeveloped) and borders US Forest Service land. It includes 30 Full hook up RV sites, 8 Power/Water RV sites, 5 camping cabins, 1 full service cabin, 5 primitive tent sites, and 2 bath houses. We are also home to 9 permanent residents and 8 extended stay residents. Lastly, we operate RV/boat and mini storage units north of the campground. Hosts are not responsible for storage or resident areas.
We have nature trails that allow you to take nice daily walks or biking along the water’s edge. Our lake cove is perfect for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and bank fishing. Wildlife in the surrounding area include White Tail Deer, Bear, Cougar, Bobcat, Elk, Moose, Wild Turkey, and small critters such as Chipmunk’s and Squirrels. The larger animals rarely, if ever, enter the park during the camping season. Our waterways include Rainbow Trout, Walleye, Sturgeon, Bass and Pike.
The Park is most always in a stage of expansion and improvement. Projects still to be completed include: Saw Blade entry sign, new playground(s), maintenance shop expansion, tent site development, and power grid improvement in the original rv section. The Park presents itself nicely and we have many return campers.

Chip is a gifted former General Contractor of 25 years and Entrepreneur. Bunny has 30+ years’ experience in residential management and medical education administration. Together, we are an unstoppable duo! We also enjoy motorcycle rides on our Harley, and we are members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. When time is given, you can join us on our boat for a day of skiing, tubing, fishing, or a leisurely ride up the river.
