Enthusiastic, organized assistant managers with good people skills needed for RV park in Kingman Arizona. This is a family-owned business where we value our employees. The campground is between Phoenix (175 miles) and Las Vegas (100 miles). It is on nostalgic Route 66, nestled between both the West and South entrances to the Grand Canyon. The ghost towns in the area (Oatman), Flagstaff mountains and Lake Havasu are also great places to explore. Located just off I-40 about 30 minutes east of Laughlin Nevada and the Colorado River, the winters are mild and summers cooler than southern Arizona. We would like at least a 1 yr commitment.
The Asst. Managers will be working with the managers in building excellent guest relations with our staff, supervising and working with about 8 employees in maintaining the buildings and grounds on the campground, working on projects, housekeeping, and overseeing the convenience store/gift shop and RV checkin.

Vermont State Parks seeks a management couple to run Townshend State Park for the 2024 operating season. A visit to Townshend State Park, located at the foot of Bald Mountain on a bend of the West River, feels like a step back in time. The park was constructed during the Great Depression by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC); the beautiful stone Ranger Residence still operates as the staff housing and contact station!
Park Managers are responsible for customer experience, cash handling and management, and supervision of staff and park operations at their assigned park. Previous experience in park operations and maintenance, or college education in park management is preferred, but technical maintenance skills are not required, as training will be provided. The following are requirements for these managerial positions: Basic First Aid & CPR certification (provided), working 48 hours per week, weekend and evening work and in-park residency for which housing is provided.
Benefits include housing at no-cost, free camping, day use, and boat rentals at all other Vermont State Parks, and a free fishing license. These positions run from Sunday, April 28th through Saturday, September 7th.

Maintenance Technician and Part Time Front Desk - Durango, CO

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform basic repairs and maintenance at a multi-unit condominium complex. On site housing may be available for qualified candidate. On call evening fire alarm monitoring duties several nights a week will be required for onsite accommodation.
Reliability and a keen eye for detail is imperative. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid basic maintenance knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Individual must be self-motivated, have good guest service skills, be trainable and a team player.
Responsibilities
• Perform minor construction repairs such as drywall repair, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Landscape maintenance, collecting trash etc.
• Monitor Electrical panels and heating systems.
• Check functionality of fire alarms and monitor the system.
• Shovel snow and plow roadways.
• Maintain pool and hot tub.
• Report to the facility manager
• Cut and stack firewood.
Requirements
• Experience in similar position with work history.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Experience with hand and electrical tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent
Part-Time Front Desk
Responsibilities
- Communicate with owners and guests via phone, email and in person.
- Conduct wedding tours for potential event bookings.
- Assist property manager with administrative tasks.
- Clean main lodge and water plants.
- Can get additional hours if willing to shovel snow and do landscaping

Outdoor staff: Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs; be comfortable interacting with guests and leading them to their sites. Basic maintenance skills are necessary. REMOTE SECURITY AND SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE - Hope, BC

Who we are: We are an association of less than 30 individually owned cabins located on approximately 3 acres beside a beautiful, remote alpine lake in the Fraser Valley.
Ideal candidate(s): This is an ideal position for a couple who love the wilderness, have no problem working on their own and enjoy doing some physical work. Good communication skills with English speaking and writing abilities are mandatory. The ability to handle and maintain tools, equipment and be physically fit is a must. You will need a 4x4 truck. You must agree to a criminal record check. You will be isolated in the winter.
Wage: Wage is negotiable; most expenses are covered and include: Your accommodation will be a cozy 2 storey cabin with a lakeview, complete with 2 generators for electricity, washer & dryer, propane appliances, propane lights and a back-up 12-volt system. The cabin is heated by wood fireplace requiring you to cut and stack your own wood. Wood splitter on-site. Telephone service 24/7. Basic TV channels and internet (wifi).
What you would do: -Provide perimeter security coverage and access control to ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site, providing a visual security presence -Patrol designated areas in an outdoor environment and make daily security report journal entries to be sent electronically on a weekly basis to a board of directors (BOD consists of 6 elected association members) -Observe and report suspicious activity, co-ordinate and liaise with police or emergency personnel when required -Maintain water, septic and generator systems as required

Camp Waziyatah is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to manage our camp facilities year round. Wazi is a traditional, non-denominational, co-ed camp in a beautiful setting situated on a private lake in Southern Maine. Camp Waziyatah has a rich 99 year history and is world famous as the original setting for the Disney Channel TV Show “Bug Juice” and “Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp”.
Responsibilities include:
-Maintenance of the buildings and grounds
-Upgrades to buildings and grounds
-Project management
-Seasonal opening and closing of a children's summer camp (including water and septic)
-Security and protection of all assets ( buildings, vehicles, equipment, property, etc.)
-Management of the seasonal maintenance staff (2-5 depending on the season)
-Off-season snow plowing and snow removal
-Development of an annual facility maintenance and capital improvement plan
-The FM is on call at all times.
Work Periods:
-Camp Season Work Period: April 1 – October 31. Seasonal Work Week (June 1 – August 31): 6 days, 9 daylight hours with 1 hour for lunch. During the seasonal Work Period, the FM is dedicated to Camp Operations.
-Off-Season Work Period: November 1 – March 31. In the Off-Season, the FM is required to maintain and upgrade Camp property (where possible) and provide security, snow removal and snow plowing as needed.
Job Package:
-Salary w/bonus potential: Range 40K - 45K (based on experience)
-Housing -3BR, includes all services
-All meals during camp season (approx. 6/15-8/22)
-Camp tuition for all camp age children (6-16; $8250 per child)
-2 weeks paid vacation + 2 weeks accrued vacation (used in the off-season)
