The Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Maison de Maitre built in 1790! It has been lovingly restored by it's owners and it now operates as a very successful Bed and Breakfast. It is located in a quiet village, nestled in the 7 valleys of Pas de Calais with stunning countryside views.

What is Required

We require and enthusiastic and experienced couple to live onsite and manage and run the Bed and Breakfast for a minimum of 6 months (longer period open to discussion), whilst present owners are away.

It is 1hr from Calais, 1hr from Lille, 2hrs from London, 2hrs from Paris,2 hrs from Brussels and 45mins from the popular seaside tourist destination of Le Touquet Paris Plage. As well as being ideally located it is also a perfect secluded haven in itself.  It has now been operating for 10 years where the owners have built up an excellent reputation based on a welcoming and warm hospitality matched by high quality and comfortable amenities. The B&B has been voted asone of the 'top 50 hotels in Europe' and the house is regularly used for location shoots. Over the years we have bulit up a loyal clientele with many guests now returning year on year. 

We currently operate 5 ensuite rooms inclusive of use of the house amenities and a full continental breakfast. There is also the option to provide a 5 course evening meal (full training provided)

Must have the right to live/stay in France for the period

Must Be able to Drive and have a car

Fluent English Speaker and conversational French

Role includes:

- Receive tel bookings only.

- Receiving and Hosting guests

- Preparing and Cooking Breakfasts

-Optional evening meal (to be discussed)

- Linen/Towel Cleaning 

- Buying supplies as required

-Cleaning and servicing communal spaces and wider house (room cleaning services can be discussed and negotiated against offered salary)

-Maintenance of Gardens, jacuzzi and basic maintenance of wider property (Bi-monthly gardener will be provided)

-Basic Book Keeping

Looking for a front desk/ help and day to day operational staff or couple for a 50-unit independent boutique hotel, may rebrand to a franchise in the future, located just an hour outside of San Antonio, TX in a quaint little town. Must be fluent in English.

Job duties include minor maintenance i.e. changing light bulbs, reprograming electronic locks when necessary, making sure supplies are stocked, working closely with the housekeeping team and aiding when possible. (*making rooms will not be necessary). Tending the front desk and managing reservations and RevPAR, as well as problem solving whenever situations arise. Our organization provides residential services to children of all ages who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.  Our primary focus is to keep sibling groups together in a safe, stable, home-like environment until more permanent placement can be provided. 

We are currently recruiting for single and/or couple House Parents.  Our House Parent(s) are involved in teaching social skills, self-help skills, and independent living skills. House Parents administer the day-to-day operations of a family residence including documentation and domestic responsibilities.

House Parents working schedule is 7 days onsite/7 days off.

 Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision of up to 12 children in a home along with direct care staff on campus.
• Provide teaching, education and support to children to ensure stability and opportunities for growth, including life skills and assistance with homework.
• Provide behavior modification and interventions for children who may require it and who may display behavioral issues.
• Complete all documentation as required to include staffing notes and daily logs.
• Assist with coordinating activities for children within the facility.  This will include transportation, supervision and participation.
•  Provide transportation and supervision as needed for children to appointments within the     community.
• Assist in maintaining and caring for houses, this includes cleaning and preparing meals.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience within social services and direct care of child welfare.
• Appropriate communication and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, professionals and children.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to document appropriately for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DCF background screening.
