Host Couple - Luray, VA

We are looking for a Hosting Couple to work and live at our beautiful Mountain Campus facility in Luray, VA.

We will expect the individuals to prepare meals in a commercial kitchen for the groups of students and teachers we have visiting this campus as well as performing maintenance duties such as but not limited to, landscaping (lawnmowing and weeding),minor repairs around the campus, and winterizing and de-winterizing the facility.

Individuals would be required to have Food and Beverage experience along with light maintenance experience.

Housing will be provided for the individuals along with meals on days they are serving groups. Housing unit includes full kitchen.

Maintenance Couples - Clayton, NY

We are looking for an ambitous, personable, hands on couple to maintain and operate resort for the summer seasons.

Job positions for the summer of 2018 start March 15th and end November 15th or later.

The property is located directly on the St. Lawrence River, is dedicated to making your stay in the Thousand Islands a memory you can share with family and friends for years to come.

We are open from May 1 through October 12.We have twenty motel units and sixteen one, two, and three bedroom cottages. We also have a 60 site full hook-up campground, a boat launch and dockage. For your enjoyment there is an inground swimming pool, a playground, beach front bonfire pits, sandy beach on the premisis. We also provide a beach front picnic area with barbeque grills and a 70' riverfront deck that offers panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River.

The St. Lawrence River boasts many activities. Museums, beautiful golf courses, a go kart track, wineries, distilleries, restaraunts, pubs, basketball and tennis courts are located within a three mile radious. New to Clayton in 2006 is Clayton Island Tours , a two and a half hour two-nation narrated cruise of the islands located in and near Clayton with stop overs at Boldt Castle on Heart Island. Clayton Island Tours also offers Sunset cruises, an Island Picnic cruise, and charters. Uncle Sam Boat Line also offers a two-nation narrated tour with stop overs at Boldt Castle on Heart Island or Singer Castle on Dark Island. A visit to these famous castles featured in 2005 on the Travel Channel is a must for any visitor of the area. A trip across the Thousand Islands International Bridge ( 5 miles from us) into Canada is sure to bring pleasure to your vacation. Leisure boats, fishing boats and wave runner rentals can be arranged in advance or you are welcome to bring your own watercraft or boat. Don't forget your water skiis! And for the diving enthusiast, some of the best fresh water scuba diving in the world exists in the St. Lawrence River.

Duties include, but are not limited to, office tasks like taking reservations, checking guests in/out, handling cash/credit card transactions, cleaning rest rooms, motel rooms, and cottages, do motel laundry, mowing, trimming, landscaping, watering flowers, trash clean up, grounds maintenance. Must pay attention to details, multi-task, able to lift 40 to 50 lbs, have some basic knowledge of plumbing, electical, carpentry, and willing to live on site. You can bring your own trailer and live free, or if you don't have one, we have a small apartment open.

House Parent Couple (Married Couples) - Stuart, FL

The House Parent position requires the combined efforts of a married couple to provide for the training and supervision of the boys in care. If you are not a married couple, do not apply. Under the guidance of the Program Director, this couple also offers encouragement and accountability to the parents of the residents.

We believe in a team approach. A structured behavior program encourages consistency. This is a proven residential behavior management program with a school on campus. The boys live on campus during the week. They go home on the weekends and holidays.

Housekeeper & General Maintenance - Williams, CA

We are currently seeking individuals and/or a couple to fill the roles of Housekeeper & Maintenance. Both positions are year round, full time and are for immediate hire.

We are a newly completed 7400 square foot luxury home for 4 young men with special needs in one of the most spectacular settings, the Lake Chelan Valley, in the world. Amenities include a fitness room, theater room, professional chef level kitchen, greatroom,

fantastic views and individual heated storage areas. Each resident has their own suite with

individual bathrooms, walk in closets, desk area and sitting area. The house parent

apartment/suite is spectacular. There is also an additional 2000 square foot shop where the

residents work in their own manufacturing company on weekdays with other team members.

House Parents are caregivers and role models who set the tone in a residential setting with

relatively high functioning adults with special needs. House Parents have the general

responsibility of supervising and meeting the daily needs of the residents in the home and help

create the family like atmosphere in the home.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

House Parents work in conjunction with the shift staff to care for and nurture up to 4 adults with Special Needs.
Responsibilities include meeting the material, physical, spiritual, emotional and disciplinary needs of the residents.
Prepare meals.
Administer and document medications dispensed.
Arrange or provide transportation for residents.
Complete all required documentation and reports for families and the Board of Directors.
Observe and further develop guidelines in our personnel and home care manual.
Report residents’ illnesses and accidents to families, the Board and appropriate medical aid.
Responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the home and surrounding area.
Report maintenance needs promptly and be responsible for the security of the home.
Assure that the residents are appropriately dressed and observe for deficiencies in personal hygiene, addressing deficiencies.
Maintain an open line of communication with all residents.
Assist as needed in purchases of clothes and personal items.
Perform any other duties directly or indirectly related to the operation and management of Ridgeview Place.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•

Must be at least 30 years of age.

•

Must have a bachelor’s degree or
convince us of equivalence.

•

A minimum of two years of work experience working with youth,
special needs individuals, or as a caregiver.

PHYSICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Due to the nature of the House Parent position, documentation from a licensed physician that

employee can physically perform the duties is required before employment. Applicants must be

willing to agree to both a background check and drug testing prior to employment.

Employees must be able to perform all duties of a House Parent. The following physical

requirements are necessary in order to meet the physical demands of the job:

Must be able to drive a vehicle and have a clean driving record.

Must be mobile; able to walk, stand, lift (up to 30 pounds), carry, reach, climb and

stoop.

Must be physically able to perform household chores within the home: cleaning (including

mopping, sweeping, dusting, lifting objects) and cooking (including purchasing food, preparing

food and cleaning kitchen).

Must be physically able to drive residents to and from all appointments,
functions and other activities.

In case of a medical emergency involving a resident or staff member, staff must be able
to lift or move the resident and to perform CPR and First Aid.

Employees must be able to see, talk and hear.
