Golf Course Maintenance - - Hulett, WY

Help wanted:  Looking for honest, warm dependable couples/singles to work at a high-end golf club.  We are seeking individuals who want to work in a professional environment on the Maintenance/Greenkeeping department. Hours will vary from shoulder to peak season.  The season usually runs from April 15^th – October 15^th.  We are looking for both full season and part season employees with a minimum 3 months stay.

We are an 18-hole championship private golf club located in Hulett, WY, eight miles from our nations first National Monument. We are known for its scenic views, awesome changes in elevations, lush fairways, and smooth greens.  The golf course is spread over 150 acres and is a 72-par course.  We offer skeet shooting, lodging, fishing, hunting, and we have a full-service restaurant. 

We are close to many activities and events in the Black Hills region, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Deadwood, horseback riding, and fishing.

We have a new clubhouse under construction at our facility.  We are anticipating opening late summer and all jobs posted may have opportunity for additional hours pre and post construction. 

Grounds Maintenance/Greenskeepers –

Job Summary – Responsible for the tasks associated with the daily upkeep of the golf course grounds.  Must have the ability to maintain greens. Tees, fairways, roughs, and other facilities to excellent standards.

Essential Job Function –

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1.       Operates mowing equipment; mows greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunker banks, and native grass.

2.       Performs bunker maintenance; rakes, moves sand, edges, and pulls weeds.

3.       Ensures that all areas around trees, bunkers, cart paths, and signs are maintained and edged.

4.       Plants and waters trees and plants as necessary and directed.

5.       Watering greens and assists with the fixing of irrigation heads.

6.       Maintains course set up; cup cutting, tee cleanup, divot filling, ball mark repair, trash pickup, and ball washer maintenance.

We are looking for a kind and friendly couple to look after our property, attend to gardening and maintainance, look after housekeeping in all areas.

We are living out to the sea, just 20 min drive from Copenhagen. We have a dog and horses, therefore the idea couple must love animals.

Gardening and Maintainence

We would like the grounds maintained, with love and interest and creativity and any small maintenance jobs that require attending to such as painting, small repairs, etc.

Houskeeping

High quality housekeeping in all areas, cleaning, hoovering, window cleaning, laundry, etc.

Very little cooking

Driving

Occasionally drive to Copenhagen, drop and collect from Airport, and general driving.

Flexibility required during peak rental season (typically July through to mid-September; Easter holidays and October half term) and when the family visit for a month. Time will be given off in lieu when required to work 7 days per week during peak season.

Gardener/Maintenance Man/Driver

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience in general property maintenance and upkeep
• Able to complete maintenance of car, including arrangements, servicing, tax and insurance payments
• Ability to maintain the property’s pool with the following frequency: (1) during the Spring, Summer and Fall when the pool is “open” to include chemical balancing, cleaning of the surface and of the filter whenever necessary, at least daily when the Property is occupied by tenants and/or the Employer, and (2) during the Spring and Fall, undertake the opening and closing of the pool with its winter cover;
• Able to maintain tennis court and surrounds to include cleaning of court surface, and maintain and repair of tennis equipment;
• Maintain the park and gardens surrounding the property to include (1) mowing, planting, trimming, etc. as required by the season, (2) general maintenance of all flower beds, plantings, etc. and (2) development and maintenance of kitchen garden;
• Carry out any preventive or curative maintenance tasks, as well as any repairs necessary to maintain the Property both indoors and outdoors in excellent operating condition ;
• To be responsible for health and safety measures and practices in the property

Our Mountain Lodge seeking working couples to take on two of the following three positions: cook, maintenance manager or office assistant. These are fulltime, seasonal positions. Our season runs from the middle of May through approximately September 30 each year. Room and board is available.
