Both will work 40hrs per week and have 2 flexible days off per week. Should have proven experience in Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Communities, Apartment Management, Mobile Home Community Management or Self Storage Management and U-Haul truck rentals. A seasonal not-for-profit sustainability education lodge and retreat center has several job openings ideal for a working couple. The open positions are Office Manager, Cook and Maintenance Manager.
Our goal for these positions would be to have the working couple assume responsibility for two of the positions listed above, not share a single position. Our season runs from mid-May through the end of September or first week in October.
All positions offer room, board, and a seasonal salary. Preference given to those interested in forming a relationship and staying on for more than one season. Seasonal commitment is on-site mid-May to early October.

Seeking 2018 Resort Couple for Charming Log Cabin Resort - Grand Marais, MN

We are looking for a friendly, hard-working couple to work side by side with the owners and their two young sons. Located on the edge of the Boundary Waters with endless outdoor recreational opportunities, you are sure to spend your time off enjoying the outdoors. We have eight original log cabins built in the 1920's and a main lodge where we serve breakfast and dinner to guests and off-road tourists. Our place is small, rustic and charming and accomodates 30 people at a time. This allows for each employee to truly interact with guests on a daily basis, making each person's role one that intimately impacts each guest's stay.
Dates: May through September (we are flexible)
Rate: $10 an hour per person plus tip share and end of season bonus!
Room and Board: Housing, Internet, Utilities, and Laundry are provided for all employees at no cost.
Getting Around: Because of our remote location you will need a car to drive to town to pick up groceries/gas/etc. We live 39 miles up the Gunflint Trail and Grand Marais is the nearest city.
Tasks and Duties: Willing to work long hours with flexibility, must be able to work without a great deal of supervision, and must be able to take and follow directions. Some tasks you will perform on a daily basis may include cleaning guest cabins, cleaning the lodge and its common areas, tending to laundry, serving breakfast and dinner, washing dishes, mowing, landscaping, painting, trail clearing, fixing minor maintenance issues in cabins, refueling and bilging boats, cleaning fish for guests, answering phones, and checking in guests.
