We are seeking a qualified experienced couple to manage a 20 cabin year round resort in Mammoth Lakes, California

Anticipated start date as soon as possible, no later than May 1, 2018

As on-site manager, couple will be responsible for supervising the day to day lodging facility. Facilities management would require on-site presence and include but not be limited to supervision of grounds, maintenance, operation of and minor repairs of heavy snow moving equipment. Operations management will include but not be limited to direct on -site responsibility for reservations (booking, monitoring, reporting) guest services, house keeping, data file management and staff management.

Location and Challenges- Resort is located at 9000' elevation and is operated/promoted all year round. Winter season is susceptible to periodic heavy snowfall and cold inclement weather. Must be in excellent physical condition, able and willing to do labor in challenging weather at higher altitude.Summer season is a delightful time, with wonderful summer and fall weather.

Personal Characteristics- Couple must be energetic, highly organized, posses wonderful people skills, physically prepared for often strenuous outdoor assignments (winter snow handling and guest shuttles) be capable of operating snow removal equipment such as snow cats, New Holland 145, Piston Bully etc.and have basic mechanical and home repair skills.Additionaly, have comfort in living in small mountain town some distance from urban core.

Office Skills- Managers must be proficient with computer (Excel,Word, Photoshop) and capable of learning and operating RNS/VRBO reservation programs and interact with Trip Advisors, Yelp and other components of SEO.

Other responsibilities and professional skills would include

We are searching for a host couple to help at our 78 site campground for the 2018 summer season (May-October).  We are located near Red Deer, Alberta in a quiet country setting.  Must have your own RV to live on site (full service site provided).  Must be friendly and enjoy dealing with the public.  We currently run a 4 days on/4 days off cycle but are flexible with scheduling.

Assistant General Manager(s) - Cape May, NJ

Assistant General Manager- needed for large, family-oriented Camping Resort.  Looking for an experienced year-round manager (or management couple). Can provide campsite or temporary housing for the right candidate (couple).  Report directly to the owner.  Strong customer service skills a must.  Manage an existing team of 60+ experienced campground staff.  Must be familiar with all phases of campground management.  Extensive experience needed in managing a variety of departments including front desk, security, recreation & store.  Must be willing to relocate. 

Experience:Must have at least 4 years of hospitality campground/motel management.  Prior experience managing department budgets & following cash handling procedures.  Position will be required to hire, train and manage staff.  Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.  Must have a current driver’s license

Skills:Must have the ability to learn quickly, problem solve, & repair computer issues.  Organization, Strong people skills and the ability to prioritize & keep staff on task.

Maintenance Management-needed for large family oriented Camping Resort.  Looking for an experienced Outside Manager.  Must coordinate Maintenance & repair resort grounds, equipment & supplies.  Ensure a smooth interaction between maintenance & registration department.  Respond to inquiries & problem solve.  Oversee housekeeping, quality control & ordering of supplies.  Planning & Organization skills a must. Must have hands on knowledge & understanding of electric, plumbing, carpentry, computer experience needed for scheduling inventory ordering.  Must know Microsoft Word, and be able to research parts/equipment needs on the internet.

Must have 3 – 5 years’ experience handling/managing employees & conflict resolution.  Must excel in customer service & follow up.  Ability to prioritize work, planning & ordering weeks in advance & keep all staff working without interruptions.
