FEATURED JOB OPENING: Farm Caretaker Couple to manage a private farmstead in southeastern Washington State - Benge, WA

Seeking part-time farm caretaker couple to replace retiring owners. The farm has been in family for 106 years. Farmland has been leased out for production. Requiring a couple to take our place as long term caretakers and protectors of the buildings, grounds, land and equipment. Couple should be comfortable living in a semi-private location next to a paved road. This location is semi-arid with four distinct seasons. Temperatures range from -20 degrees to 115 degrees. Small grade school with one on one instruction is 7 miles away, with two K-12 schools within 20 miles. 

One of the couple would need to seek part or full time employment in one of the surrounding towns or possibly work from home for a basic income. The other would be required to work on the homestead four days a week in trade for use of a very nice well maintained, large 3 bedroom, furnished, 1960's brick rancher home, with radient heat and air conditioning. The remainder of the week could be dedicated to the development of business opportunities for the caretakers. We currently have a big game hunting operation in place. The development of an upland shooting preserve, sporting clays range or an agri-tourism operation is possible. These opportunities and several others exist depending on how hard you are willing to work. We would enjoy discussing these options with you and are open to ideas. We also have a large heated shop which is used for machinery maintenance, overhaul and service work year round. No livestock to feed or care for.

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

- Operation of JD and Cat tractors for field mowing, snow removal, fire control, field road grading and maintenance.

- Building maintenance, basic painting, plumbing, hvac systems, water softeners, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, machinery maintenance, servicing and cleaning.

- Field inspections for invasive weeds and cereal grain rye using 4 wheelers, pickups and on foot. Field GPS mapping and fence repair.

- Chemical application of roads, yard areas, spot spraying and weed patches and record keeping.

- Landscape maintenance, mowing, edging, tree pruning,fertilizer, pesticide application and rodent control.

- Grain bin and seed plant cleaning and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates will require the following skill sets with an agricultural background.

- Experience in business operations.

- Experience in merchandising and sales.

- Experience in computer application and bookkeeping.

- Chemical application experience and abilitiy to obtain pesticide licenscing.

- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, painting, heating and a/c systems.

- Landscaping and irrigation knowledge.

- Must be able to lift 75 pounds

- Requires 10-12 hours per day/4 days.

- Candidates must be able to take directions and work unsupervised, staying on task, finishing projects in a timely matter.

Seeking a Family to Manage a Guest Farm - Worthington Springs, FL

Tumble Farm is a 2 year old farmstay and retreat in North Central Florida.

We are seeking couple, family, and/or team interested in taking over management of Tumble Farm as we establish our second and third locations in Colorado and South Dakota.

Tumble Farm is a diverse operation. Because of this, we are looking for a couple, family, and/or team with a diverse skill set capable of managing the following:

1. Farming/groundskeeping- Tumble Farm is 10 acres, so we need at least one person who is highly capable when it comes to landscaping, fencing, and livestock (we do not earn money from growing produce, but we like to keep many gardens and trees).

2. Housekeeping- Tumble Farm currently has 3 guest homes and may have more. We need a team passionate about maintaining clean and comfortable spaces.

3. Equestrian- We have 2 horses available for guests. We need people who are calm and confident in their horse riding abilities.

4. Hospitality- In addition to our guest homes, we provide educational and retreat opportunities, so our managers need to be passionate about people and creating unique experiences for guests. Experiences as a teacher or camp counselor are highly appreciated.

5. Fitness/adventure- We facilitate a variety of experiences including archery, bike rentals, kayak rentals, and an obstacle course. We need an team that is interested in these types of activities.

6. Beer Culture- A cornerstone of Tumble Farm includes partnerships with local breweries and individual brewers. We would greatly appreciate someone who has brewing experience.

7. Business management/accounting/budgeting- Someone on your team will need good money management skills, team management skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Your team will be given authority over discretionary funds designated to grow Tumble Farm as you see fit.

8. Off-farm partner- It would be ideal if one person from your team is willing and interested in finding employment in the local community. Not only would this enhance your financial situation, but more importantly, it would help connect your family to the community.

Need Working Couple at my Warehouse Leasing Operation, Starting on 1st of Mar 2019 - Corpus Christi, TX

Couple needed at my Warehouse Leasing complex in Corpus Christi, Texas (15+- Miles West of Padre Island National Seashore) for ground maintenance and  maintenance  on my buildings, and aking sure my Lessees follow the Lease Agreement they signed and Security, to keep my place Secure for All, including you.

I furnish a large, Nice RV Pad Site, with Electricity, Water, Sewer, and Wifi, in an Extremely Safe Area, within seconds to/from the Crosstown-Expressway, and behind locked gates at night.  This is, I would Bet, the Very Safest Place to Live in all of the Corpus Christi area.

I need a couple who is 'Out-Going', Friendly, Happy, Honest, Kind, Respectful, Ethical, has good Morals, and Understands that Trump is doing his level best to Help America, And, I will not have have anyone who thinks he is 'owed' something.  So, No Libs need to Apply.

I say I want around 20 hours a week, but sometimes you will go days and weeks with absolutely nothing to do but relax or explore and enjoy this beautiful area.

Resident Caretakers - Lake Ozark, MO

We are located in beautiful Lake Ozark, Mo. is looking for a responsible, competent couple that would live at the park full time, year round as a Resident Caretaker.  A 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath apartment (2^nd floor)  including all utilities, cable TV & Wi-Fi furnished  in exchange for approximately 40 hrs per week per couple general Camp Host duties.

Those include general maintenance (plumbing/electrical), cleaning, yard work, pool maintenance, front desk/store clerk and keep a presence when owners are absent. Must be friendly & courteous to customers.  Non smokers & no pets.
