Live-in Lodge Manager - Escalante, UT

We are a new high-end lodge located in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument in southern Utah. We are the highest rated lodging facility in the area and have a restaurant affiliated to our lodge, Devil’s Garden Grill. Escalante is a small town with lots of charm, 2 ½ - 3 hours away from the nearest big city. We have two grocery stores, a handful of restaurants and one year-round bar with a pool table. It is a beautiful location with great hiking, fishing, and plenty of places to explore!

Job Description:
- Day-to-Day oversight of all aspects of the hotel operation including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, groundskeeping, and safety and security
- Day-to-Day supervision of full-time and part-time employees
- Fill in duties of all hotel positions as needed
- Provide training to ensure staff understand and follow hotel policies, procedures and service standards
- Conduct staff goal setting and performance reviews
- Prepare Daily Housekeeping and other reporting documents
- Ensure guest rooms, public access areas, grounds, and laundry room stay clean at all time
- Contact and work with service providers and contractors as needed
- Monitor supplies usage and stock level and timely prepare Supply Request
- Professionally, courteously and tactfully manage public and community relations
- Ensure compliance with state requirements for licensing and permits
- Other duties as assigned or as needed
Qualification:
Detail oriented, strong customer service, communication skills, computer literacy, working knowledge of regular maintenance and groundskeeping. 2+ years of hospitality or equivalent experience is a plus.
Compensation:
The annual salary is $40,000 - $45,000 DOE.

Construction, Farm and Housing Maintenance Couple - Sulphur Springs, TX

Unique opportunity on a ministry-owned rustic farm with room and board for those in need of retreat, quiet time, or temporary housing.
We are looking for a couple or individual willing to help in any of our areas of need. Applicants need not be proficient in all areas, but a willingness to learn and flexibility are helpful. This is a rustic property without television or internet, although one could bring there own portable hot spot if needed. It may not be a fit for anyone dependent 24/7 on technology. The property is ministry-owned, and as such no alcohol or drugs are allowed.
Construction: We are in the process of building housing options for people in need. This work may include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, basic manual labor, etc.
The Farm: Our farm has goats, chickens, geese, and ducks. We also have two Great Pyrenees guardian dogs and a handful of barn and farm cats which are all friendly and love attention. We feed and care for these animals. There are also lawn and gardening jobs that vary seasonally. We have farm equipment and vehicles that require maintenance and general farm-related operation.
The Housing: We have a variety of bunk rooms, private room, guest house, and cabins that are under construction. We currently do not have RV pads, although they are in the planning. Men and women have separate bathroom and shower facilities. There are two community kitchens and a general community living area. These areas require assistance with cleaning, food prep, cooking, and organizing.
The church is a small country church located on the property. We also clean the church and grounds around it.
The position for a couple or individual is flexible for anyone wishing to volunteer for a week or several months. It is low key, rural, quiet, although there are towns 11 and 14 miles away for any necessities. Cooper Lake State Park is 4 miles away and does offer RV pads, swimming, camping, hiking, etc. We are located about an hour and 15 minutes NE of Dallas, about an hour south of Oklahoma, and about 1 1/2 from Texarkana.

Maintenance Manager - Manufactured Home / Mobile Home Community
The Maintenance Supervisor will implement GMR work, manage an in-house maintenance staff and execute on Capital Improvement and Rehab construction.
We need a Maintenance manager who worked himself up through the ranks running crews and managing subcontractors.
Responsibilities to include:
GMR (General Maintenance & Repair): Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and in house maintenance. crew. Water leaks, vetting, EMG repairs, minor tree trimming & Landscaping, accountability, park clean up, processing and executing on service orders, rules and regulations enforcement, reading water meters.
CAPX: Scopes of work, recruiting, hiring and managing subcontractors, executing construction.
Rehab/New Homes: Recruiting, interviewing, hiring and managing & working w/Subcontractors, scope of work, executing and managing rehab and new home set up, on-boarding new properties.
