Caretaker, Housekeeping and Operations 2019-2020 Ski Season

This is an opportunity for a mature, motivated couple. Must be self-starters and problem solvers with experience working in the hospitality industry and the ability to work in a team environment.  Position reports to Operations/Housekeeping Managers.  Our employees wear many hats and do what it takes to get the job done, whether shoveling walkways or making beds and greeting guests. You will also serve as an ambassador for the area, directing our guests to the best local restaurants, ski runs, nightlife and more.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Reside in the manager’s apartment in a multi-million dollar single-family home in Alta, UT
• Operations – work with operations manager to provide ongoing maintenance and snow removal at Alta Chalet’s managed properties. 
• Work with operations manager to oversee linen deliveries and distribution. 
• Housekeeping – work under housekeeping manager and with housekeeping staff to provide daily and turnover housekeeping. 
• Work with all staff to ensure that the highest quality is maintained in every rental property.
• Guest orientation and liaison at Alta Chalet’s managed properties. 
• Work with Alta Chalets Managers and Owners to provide unparalleled customer service for guests

Compensation

• Housing in a studio/efficiency Apartment*
• Ski pass for Alta or season-end bonus in lieu of pass
• Salary plus additional hourly work
• Share of Tip
• Position is seasonal - early November until end of April

Our stables are in need of Live-in caretakers. We are seeking a couple with equestrian and ranch hand experience of one or both persons. We supply a place to live as compensation so one or both would require employment for other needs besides housing.

We board, train, raise horses, experience requires time with horses, we don't do caretaker training.

Resident Managers - Stillwater, NY

Owner/Operator of multiple manufactured housing communities in New York State is seeking an experienced community management couple for our Saratoga community.  The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of the operation of the community.  These individuals will work closely with the owner to complete a planned expansion. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond to resident inquires and resolve resident complaints
• Oversee the receipt of rent payments, the preparation of late notices, and other duties related to collections
• Oversee maintenance staff
• Oversee administrative staff
• Enforce adherence to the community rules and regulations

Previous experience in property management with working knowledge of NYS Real Property Law Section 233 is a must.  Previous experience managing a manufactured home community is not required, but a definite plus. 

This is a full-time positon with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus incentives commensurate with experience.
