Mature Couple to help operate and maintain Ghost Town attractions in a one time boom town - Chloride, Sierra County, NM

The man will help keep the town in a neat condition which includes mowing grass, trimming trees, doing repair work on several old buildings. The Lady will help in the Gift shop and the museum, and help maintain the cabins.It is important that the couple are able to meet and talk with tourists who usually are interested in the local history.

Responsibilities of the Life Skills/Dorm Parents include: acting as positive role models and fulfilling daily parental duties for youth in their care in a supportive, structured environment; ensure youth are ready for school or other activities for the day; provide instruction regarding health and personal habits, behaviors, and provide assistance in achievement of academic goals; provide teaching interactions, awarding both positive and negative consequences for appropriate personal and social behaviors; prepare reports to therapist, Be a provider, parents and director as well as incident reports; make appointments that may include transporting youth to appointments; attend staff meetings; accompany youth to dining hall for meals as a family unit; work with director to plan recreational activities and outings; and other tasks as assigned. Required Experience:prefer college degree but will consider high school diploma with right experience; at least 21 years of age, previous experience, skills and abilities with foster/adoption and/or at-risk children; knowledge of psychological and sociological aspects of youth, ability to implement a behavior system and provide structure in a positive, effective way, basic knowledge of first aid and safety, valid driver’s license with good driving record, current auto insurance and ability to pass extensive background check; ability to effectively interact with sensitivity, and be able to keep information confidential. - Working knowledge of financial statements(P&L, CFS, BS)

- Associate Degree in Culinary Arts required (Bachelor’s preferred
- 3+ years’ experience as a Chef in a full-service restaurant

Work Structure:
The Lodge at Black Rapids is located at 227 RichardsonHighway. Naturally, this is a somewhat remote location – two and a half hours south of Fairbanks and forty minutes south of Delta Junction. This means that this position requires multiple weeks of work. As such, we are looking for a couple to live down at the Lodge for extended periods of time. Assignments vary depending on the season. For most of our seasons it can be anywhere between 4 to 6 months depending on the seasonality of the business.
Weare seeking a manager who enjoys extended periods of time being down at thelodge followed by extended periods of time off duty. We are offering paid timeoff depending on the seasonality of the business. We’re skiers and hikers too. We recognize that hard work should be following by lots of playtime!
Which is why we are offering both paid time on-site and paid time off sight.
Compensation and Benefits:
We are offering a base salary of $50,000 dollars annually with room-and-board included both on-site and off-duty. That is, while you’re not on duty, we are offering single-bedroom accommodation for you at our Fairbanks office. We are also offering incentive structures forupwards of 20% of your total salary.
Base Salary: $50,000 annual salary
Target Incentives:*Upwards of $10,000
Room and Board (Estimate Cost of Living): $20,000
For the second position, we are offering a base salary of $35,000 dollars annually with room and board on-site and off duty.
