Responsibilities:
- Landscaping and maintenance of grounds, vegetable garden and greenhouse.
- Daily care of the farm and animals (10 horses, donkeys, goats, poultry, fish, and barn cat)
- General repairs and maintenance of the structures, accessory buildings, pastures and trails.
- Vehicle maintenance of farm vehicles (tractor, lawn mower, utvs)
- Preparation for each new season

Hours:
- 7 Hours Monday through Friday
- 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday for daily animal feeding and watering
- Be available 24/7 for emergencies.

Park Host - Caretakers - Gilbertsville, NY

The Town of Butternuts in upstate New York is looking for a host-caretaker couple for our town park for the summer of 2020 camping season in exchange for salary and rv campsite (with hookups). Besides being present to welcome park users, responsibilities will include: simple daily water testing; lawn mowing as needed; upkeep of restrooms; some record-keeping.
The Copes Corners Park is a very pretty, seven-acre, established park and 20+ site campground, bordered by two creeks and full of mature trees as well as open spaces, owned and operated by the local municipality of the Town of Butternuts.
The main characteristic we are looking for in our caretaker couple is a friendly face to welcome patrons to the park and help us to continue the park's development. Our season runs from May 1st through September 30th.

Park Hosts must provide their own RV and maintain a clean site as this space is the first impression of the park's camping area. Host couples must wear park uniform shirts (provided) while on duty. Park Hosts must be flexible, dependable, personable, enjoy helping others, and be able to effectively follow instructions from management and the Head PFO on duty.
Hosting scheduling is 25-30 hrs per week of volunteer hours (can be divided between the couple, or exclusive to one) and the PFO scheduling is 14-20 hrs per week (paid). Hours are scheduled in advance seasonally, but subject to last minute changes to reflect the park’s needs. Park Hosts & PFO’s must be physically able to perform all required duties and may include lifting up to 40 lbs.

In addition to sales and service expertise, candidates must have great organizational skills, office/admin proficiency, and one member of the duo must have the ability to maintain the property and grounds, including but not limited to, repairs and maintenance, snow removal, keeping the facility clean, etc.
Benefits package includes salary of $50,000.00, PLUS occupancy of a resident apartment (2 bedroom/ 1 bath), garage, all utilities included. There is also a monthly bonus program based on rental activity, paid medical and dental, 3 weeks PTO.
Responsibilities:
Successful Management Teams achieve financial objectives by:
• Managing cash with precision and balancing receipts, conducting collection efforts, posting payments and processing daily bank deposits accurately and timely as well as maintaining accurate records.
• As a Manager you’ll oversee assistant managers at a sister location to maximize property performance. Showing and leasing self-storage spaces.
