Couple needed to assist Property Manager - Martinsville, MO

We have a unique and pristine forested property sitting next to a free public use 300 acre lake with a dock!  We have FHU in exchange for 4 hours per day or 20 hours per week per person. 

We have very rapid fiber optic wi-fi.  We sit on a big hill overlooking a smaller valley.  Northwest Missouri is a prime hunting location and winter fishing spot!  We will also have a holistic garden in the spring.  We need someone to do maintenance and clean our tiny homes and turn them over for new guests.  Assiting any RVers will be a plus.  The park is small.  Some firewood gathering needed.  Also, if you have any construction background this will help but is not required.

Camp Host - Port Angeles, WA

Arguably the most beautiful spot on the Olympic Peninsula is seeking couples that enjoy hosting and can be depended on to service our customers.

The park includes a half mile of private beach, 35 full hookup sites, 2 cabins, and 10 tent sites. Schedule is 3 days on then 3 days off in exchange for full hookup site and salary. We have positions open for winter (Dec-April) and summer (May-Oct).

• Office work includes greeting and checking in customers, telephone inquiries, reservations, using reservation system and cash register.

• Outside work includes cleaning restrooms and showers, grounds maintenance, helping customers to their sites, picking up liter on private beach.

Couples will need to work together (one in the office and one outside) to insure that the park is well kept and that customers and made to feel at home

·      Lawn care, including mowing, weeding and raking debris on a regular basis

·      Light machinery operation and tractor, including hand tools; power tools; pressure washers; lawn mowers; string trimmers.

·      Welding, electrical repairs, plumbing

·      Operate and maintain watering system.

·      Ensure all equipment is well maintained, in working condition, and properly organized, communicating to owner when equipment needs to be professionally serviced or replaced.

·      General repairs and maintenance for buildings

·      Responding to renter requests and troubleshooting

·      Upkeep of land health and property aesthetics 

Mechanical ability and veteran experience a plus

Full-time position year-round with modest salary and housing and utilities are provided.  Benefits not provided

We see this position as being ideal for a retired individual or couple, who are currently drawing social security or a retirement income, who love the outdoors and country living, and who would be interested in supplementing their income by helping to care for this beautiful property.  No smoking or drug use (legal or otherwise) will be accepted.  We would consider a pet or two.

Both properties require indoor and outdoor maintenance. Successful couple is retired, has boat operating experience, has skills for home maintenance, including painting, carpentry, general repairs, etc., and enjoys outdoor work and maintaining an old growth forest. Compensation includes the housing described and a monthly wage for 20 hours per week, per person.
