FEATURED JOB OPENING: Ranch Property Managers - Stanwood, WA

We are looking for an individual or couple to live on our 67-acre property near Stanwood, WA, overlooking the Stillaguamish river as caretakers/property managers.  This is a second home for our family, and we are there for the summers and numerous times during the year.  Part of your responsibilities would include monitoring our home during our absence, as well as maintaining security of the property, maintenance of fields, water supply and electricity.

Must be verified as honest, trustworthy, hardworking 

Ranch does not have any animals to care for

Position has a variety of responsibilities 

·      Lawn care, including mowing, weeding and raking debris on a regular basis

·      Light machinery operation and tractor, including hand tools; power tools; pressure washers; lawn mowers; string trimmers.

·      Welding, electrical repairs, plumbing

·      Operate and maintain watering system.

·      Ensure all equipment is well maintained, in working condition, and properly organized, communicating to owner when equipment needs to be professionally serviced or replaced.

·      General repairs and maintenance for buildings

·      Responding to renter requests and troubleshooting

·      Upkeep of land health and property aesthetics 

Mechanical ability and veteran experience a plus

Full-time position year-round with modest salary and housing and utilities are provided.  Benefits not provided

We see this position as being ideal for a retired individual or couple, who are currently drawing social security or a retirement income, who love the outdoors and country living, and who would be interested in supplementing their income by helping to care for this beautiful property.  No smoking or drug use (legal or otherwise) will be accepted.  We would consider a pet or two.
