Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage day-to-day operations of the facility
Maintain an exceptionally clean facility, including outside maintenance

Greet customers and others in a professional manner
Wear company required uniform and abide by company dress code at all times
Show, rent and clean units
Perform market surveys
Supervise Assistant Managers
Answer the telephone in a professional manner
Make collection calls to late tenants
Process liens and prepare for auctions
Perform daily lock check and patrol facility on a continual basis daily
Communicate facility issues with Corporate Office in timely manner
Clean public restroom and stock with supplies as needed
Clean facility, including power washing, picking up trash and cigarette butts, sweeping, using the blower, snow blower, mop, etc.
Rent trucks, move trucks, clean trucks, maintain trucks
 

Job Requirements:

Must have valid drivers license

Must have excellent customer service and basic mathematical skills.

Must be detail orientated.  Ability to follow written instructions for handling paperwork as listed in the Site Operations Manual.

Must have general computer skills

Team must be able to split and work multiple locations if an emergency arises (we compensate for gas expenses)

Must be willing to work any day, including weekends.       
Must pass a detailed background check including a DMV check
Must be proficient in MS Windows


Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours per day
Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Enthusiastic, organized assistant managers with good people skills needed for RV park in Kingman Arizona.  This is a family-owned business where we value our employees.  The campground is between Phoenix (175 miles) and Las Vegas (100 miles).   It is on nostalgic Route 66, nestled between both the West and South entrances to the Grand Canyon.  The ghost towns in the area (Oatman), Flagstaff mountains and Lake Havasu are also great places to explore. Located just off I-40 about 30 minutes east of Laughlin Nevada and the Colorado River, the winters are mild and summers cooler than southern Arizona.   We would like at least 1-2 yr  commitment.

The Asst. Managers will be working with the managers in building excellent guest relations with our staff, supervising and working with about 8 employees in maintaining the buildings and grounds on the campground, working on projects, housekeeping, and overseeing the convenience store/gift shop and RV checkin.  Compensation is in the $30,000 each range but is negotiable depending on experience. In addition to salary is a free campsite.

The couples will include one being office manager and the other maintenance manager.  Construction, contracting, mechanical and/or retail experience a plus.

Salary Package and Benefits:

At Hawthorn Senior Living we have a very attractive salary package for our Assistant Manager teams. The salary package is broken down into the following categories:

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $60,000 to $70,000 per year to start (depending on the cost of living in the area where are placed) for our Assistant Management Team. However, each person will be paid their own individually portion of the aforementioned salary.

Accommodation:
As this is a live-in position, the accommodation provided is a one bedroom, one-bathroom apartment with washer and dryer in the unit. In addition to the apartment benefit, the Assistant Managers are also provided with all utilities paid including basic cable, unlimited parking, and as well as all meals included. In addition, we offer relocation assistance and encourage all applicants who are open to relocation, to apply.

Healthcare and Other Perks:

Schedule:

This position is designed as a training and development role and the hope is that our Assistant Management Teams will aspire to become Managers of their own Gracious Community within a short training period.

· Willingness and ability to live on-site in an assigned apartment.

· Prior management experience including operational and financial experience in managing employees, customer service, purchasing, payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

  • A six-day work week is required July, August, and September.  Five days for remainder of the year.

  • Reasonable grocery expenses are included.
  • $50 cell phone reimbursement each month per person.
  • Paid vacation-Earn 5 days for every 6 months worked (10 days paid vacation time per year)
  • Sick Leave-6 workdays per year.
  • Partial paid medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • 401K retirement plan.
  • 6 paid holiday days per year.
  • Accommodation available at each residence for two adults.
  • Vehicle available at each residence.
