Looking for an energetic, friendly couple to manage a beauti ful, 55+ Mobile Home Community in Apple Valley, CA. One team member to work in the office with skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, collect rent, give notices, on-line deposits, general office skills, and people friendly Second team member must have basic maintenance skills (plumbing, electric, water riser repair, landscaping), meter reading and keeping the common areas clean.
The hired couple will receive housing (doublewide home), all utilities and $3500/mo. Hours are M-F 9-4 with an hour off for lunch. Previous Management skills is a must.

Come experience the magic of the Sacramento Mountains, New Mexico, doing what we enjoy doing best – helping our guests. We need an individual or couple to work camp for 4 days on 4 days off in the offseason, 4 on 3 off during the season, (20-26 hours a week), in exchange for a full hook up site in this campground situated in the magical land of enchantment. At Camp Rio, there are 38 full hook up RV sites, 7 tent sites on the Rio Penasco River which runs through the park, 15 tent sites that are in our stargazing area, 3 glamping sites and 3 cabins. There is a heated bathhouse and there is a food truck on site.
We need one person in the office to work answer telephone inquiries, make reservations, greet guests and visitors and answer questions or do check-ins/checkouts. There is a small store, that will require helping guests making purchases. You will also be responsible for helping maintain the bathhouse. Campspot is the reservation software used here and it will be helpful if you are familiar with it but we can also teach it to you.
The other person will work with our outside manager on maintenance projects and general upkeep of the park.
There are no wages but compensation is offered for cleaning the cabins/ make readies. The owners are also researching grants for other opportunities to make money for fishing, fire safety etc. There are events year-round and you get the opportunity to work alongside the most awesome owners and managers. Seeking 2 couples to be independent contractors or single camp workers are welcome as well; no experience necessary, full time or seasonal opportunities available. .

Onsite Manager and Maintenance - Pacoima, CA

Shadow Hills Mobile Home Park located in Pacoima, CA is seeking an On-Site Manager Couple (On-Site Manager and Maintenance) to handle the day-to-day responsibilities of the Park. Our community is 96 spaces. which includes a manager’s space. Individual must be active and motivated in order to provide a quality living environment for residents and promote positive resident relations as well as:
ON-SITE MANAGER POSITION:
• Maintain high occupancy
• Prospective applicant screening
• Enforce community Rules and Regulations
• Proper serving of all rule violation notices and legal notices
• Promote positive public relations with prospects, residents, vendors and clients
• Achieve timely rent collections and handle all income related issues
• Keep monthly expenditures within the limits of the approved budget
• Take the necessary steps to ensure both appearance and physical integrity of the property and its assets are in good condition at all times
• Develop a professional, motivated team through effective personnel management
• Coordinate the maintenance of the property to ensure the quality and timeliness of maintenance efforts
• Communicate all property issues in a timely manner to Property Manager and other key principals
Requirements:
• MUST HAVE MANAGING EXPERIENCE!
• Minimum 1year experience as resident manager
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers, staff and management
• Excellent property management skills including leasing, marketing, resident relations/control and customer service
• Good computers skills (property management software – Rent Manager preferred, Excel, Word and Email)
• Experience with all financial related issues -- expenditure control, maximizing income, collections, budgeting, etc.
Skills:
• Ability to use computer, email and rent collection software
• High level written and verbal communication skills
• Good people skills
• Able to work with and understand general plumbing, electric, sewer issues
• Prior property management experience a plus
• Report to Management updates of the community routinely

MAINTENANCE POSITION:
• An active member of the team committed to making the community the best possible neighborhood for residents and visitors
• Responsible for maintaining the grounds (streets and landscaping), park buildings and park facilities (pool, restrooms, clubhouse, storage areas) and park owned homes in a clean, safe and first-class manner.
• Reports to on-site manager
Requirements:
• Perform various maintenance tasks for the park and for residents of the park on behalf of the owner & manager
• Identify for the manager maintenance issues which need to be addressed, areas for park improvement, report rule violations by residents
• Regular inspection of all park common areas and improvements
• Maintaining all common areas in a clean, safe and first-class condition
• Miscellaneous repairs of park owned rental homes & resident units (only as directed by manager)

Property Caretakers for Waterfront Estate on the Central Oregon Coast
WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
This position is for a couple. The primary duties are care and maintenance of the grounds and homes and weekly cleaning of the main house which has two occupants and pets.
Other duties include water management/maintenance for our spring fed cisterns and creek, refilling propane tanks, automotive/rv care (washing vehicles, emptying tanks or taking them for service), maintenance of riprap sea walls, etc.
Housing on the estate can be provided and will be discussed in detail with qualified applicants.
The property is a waterfront estate on 5 acres with a main home and a guest home. There are extensive grounds which require significant upkeep.
There is sufficient flexibility in the timing of these duties to allow for outside employment for least one of the individuals, as the provided housing will be the majority of your compensation if housing is desired. If you are digital nomads, all the better.
Additionally, individuals skilled in cleaning or maintenance who would like to take on additional hourly work will have opportunities to work at our other properties in the area.
