Residental Maintenance Couple - Rushford, NY

Seeking a couple for hands-on residential maintenance, interior and exterior.
This is a seasonal, position May 1st to Nov. 1st. for a busy household with owners entertaining weekly, Saturday & some evenings required.
Lawn care including mowing, trimming, weed wacking, gardening planting, weeding and fertilizing flower gardens.
Household cleaning for guest cottages on property
General building maintenance, small plumbing repairs, general capentry, knowledge of electrical and landscape lighting a plus
Care of patio areas and patio furniture, daily leaf blowing of patio areas.
computer skills, e-mail, scan and prepare weekly reports for owners.
coordinate and supervise outside vendors as needed.
Must have clean driving record and validate drivers liscense.
Housing provided, compensation based on quliifacations and expereince. Relocation supplement possible.

Minimum 6 month commitment required. Perfectly suited position for a couple. You work 6 days per week from 4:30-10:30 pm and occasional morning shifts (8-11 am) Your accommodation is provided (beachfront location!) and you eat family dinners for free. You earn tips from the bar and a small food stipend, can take the Palmar boat for to town for free and get a discount at bar and general store. Awesome work schedule to be able to explore all the area has to offer during the days and work at night!
Responsibilities include: bar tending, customer service, checking guests in and giving them the tour of the property, booking tours and transport for guests, keeping track of guest bills and closing bills for people leaving early in the morning, making a list each night of items that need to be delivered in the morning, keeping the bar and great house area clean and orderly, keep kitchen area clean at night, make coffee last thing at night for the morning.
Qualifications: Some spanish knowledge preferred but not required (at least must have a willing attitude to learn). Must be comfortable making conversation with all sorts of travelers from across the globe, friendly and responsible. Almost all our guests are cool but you need to be able to handle the tough ones with a professional attitude. MUST be okay living in a fairly remote (but beautiful!) area, off the grid with limited resources. Neat freaks & compulsive organizers definitely welcome.

MANUFACTURED HOUSING COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT TEAM:
Seeking an experienced, superior management/maintenance team for a 250+ 5 star manufactured housing community in Albany, OR. Can-do attitudes and previous manufactured housing or residential management/maintenance experience are required.
Management responsibilities include superior people and communication skills, management office and computer skills, attention to detail, rent collection and processing, accurate report generation, community rule enforcement, applicant screening, stellar resident relations and the preparation, marketing and sale of community-owned homes as needed.
Maintenance responsibilities include upkeep of community common areas and infrastructure to an A1 condition. This includes performance of plumbing and general repairs, project organization and management, competitive bidding and research, equipment operation/maintenance and make-ready of community-owned homes. Must be able to produce on-time, long and short term quality results through effective work with team, contractors and vendors while communicating status and results with supervisors both verbally and in writing as appropriate.
The team must have the ability to resolve resident, applicant and vendor issues in a positive and professional manner handle after hours emergencies, be extremely organized and able to prioritize task and projects, develop independent recommendations and execute instructions from supervisors.
If you're self-starting, organized and disciplined professionals with experience in managing residential communities, supervising employees, love working with people and making a difference, we'd like to talk to you. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in property management with knowledge of Oregon Fair Housing laws, resident screening and rule enforcement. Intermediate computer skills are required.
