Conservation Corps is currently looking for energetic and resourceful couples as Leaders to complete high priority conservation projects with a crew of young people. In 2013, Conservation Corps crews will be working primarily throughout the state of Vermont.

Leading a Conservation Corps crew is a job unlike any you've ever had before! As a Crew Leading couple you will live and work in the outdoors and complete conservation projects such as trail construction, bridge building, and stone stair case construction. After a comprehensive training, you and your partner will be responsible for managing these work projects and ensuring high-quality standards are met. As a team, will also serve as  teachersand a role models to the young people on your crew by building a strong community, ensuring the health and safety of your crew, and teaching both life and job skills. This job will stretch your comfort zones and challenge your relationship with one another in unforeseen ways, but the rewards and sense of accomplishment which you'll gain are immense.

We are seeking couples for our summer season that runs from  May 26th to August 11th (3-month positions). Crew Leader positions include three weeks of paid training, and an Education Award (based on position and eligibility).

Looking for a couple to live on our 15 acres and care for the property and our home. We plan to have a vegetable plot to supply some of the items used in our in town restaurant. There are maintenance duties for rental properties and the restaurant/bar. Possible position in the kitchen for extra income. We will provide all hookups for the right folks. Experience starting a grape orchard is welcome. We are seeking long term commitment but would consider short term while we continue to look for a permanent couple. Motel Management Couple - Lamar, CO

40 Room Independent well kept motel needs on-site couple to run on a daily basis. Nice fully furnished apartment with private laundry. No housekeeping or laundry and Very minimal Maintenance to keep the property running. We(owner) do not live in town would like a trustworthy and reliable team.

We have another motel in town which is also managed by a couple so you will have the good opportunity to work together for occasional time off other than your regular days off when either us or our relief manager fills in.

Couple needed to manage small motel and Bed & Breakfast - Canton, TX

Management team needed to live on-site and manage a 21 unitl motel as well as a Bed & Breakfast in the small town of Canton, Texas (approximately 60 miles east of Dallas).  Canton is home to First Monday Trades Days - the largest trades days in Texas and one of the largest in the United States.  The motel is located in a busy area of town - near Walmart, many restaurants, the town's grocercy store and hardware store, etc.  The properties do a steady weekly/monthly business as well as a brisk nightly buisness.  First Monday weekend is the first weekend of each month and we have a number of vendors who stay with us reguarly along with the many individuals attending the multi-day event.  

Duties include all aspects of managing the office - from renting the rooms by phone as well as in person, answering the phone, limited book keeping, purchasing supplies, managing the maid, etc.  General maintenance skills are needed for upkeep on the property, room maintenance, lawn maintenance, etc.  Light plumbing and basic electrical knowledge preferred.  

Compensation includes a one bedroom apartment, all bills - including electricity, water, cablevision, wi-fi, etc., as well as a salary plus bonuses.
