We are a small resort with 17 units (cabins/cottages) .  We are looking for a couple to do yard work, odd jobs,  cleaning - cabins, cottages, bathroom, game room ect.   Some office work answer phones checkins/checkouts.  pretty much what ever might need to be done at resort.   The compensation is a place for your rv which includes water, sewer, electric, and sat hook up. Use of laundry and salt water pool . Beautiful 6 acre riverfront property with a beaver marsh, creek and ponds. !Hummingbirds, eagles, fox, cranes, herons, deer ~ lots of wildlife to enjoy! Need a couple to care for property while I travel. Light duties include mowing large lawn (riding lawn more available), making sure the plumbing and roofs don't leak, and general upkeep. Would like a one-year commitment. You would have your own living room, master bath/bedroom, share kitchen/laundry facilities. Rent based upon work exchange and some rental payment.

Private Campground Caretakers - Cle Elum , WA

Mountain River Trails Camping Association is seeking a couple to work as full time, year round caretakers of our 67 acre campground. There are 467 memberships,although at any given time only a fraction are occupied.

We offer a private residence with all utilities paid as part of the package. 5 days on, 2 off. In addition to a weekly salary, we offer money to be paid toward medical insurance. After 1 year you would be eligible for a paid vacation.

The office is for monitoring the controlled entry gate, answering the phone, selling sundries and helping with members and guests questions. Some light computer use is also done.

Outside the office duties include cleaning the restrooms [8 pairs] and a few buldings, mowing lawns [riding mower], operating a backhoe, picking up trash from the cans around camp and hauling it to the local dump. The selected couple are expected to be self starters with minimal oversight. In the winter, the various roads in camp may need plowing. Only 1 bathroom is open in winter, and campers are much less than in the summer. So, a little less work then.

We are looking for motivated self starters with communication skills, who like people and can perform the tasks listed above.

Minimum job requirements:

• Prior Senior Living Management experience of 3 years for Community Asst. Managers; including operational and financial experience in managing employees, customer service, purchasing, payroll and accounts payable/receivable.

• Devote time each week for community outreach, follow up on direct inquiries, and conduct tours for prospective residents.
• Follow the approved operating budget. Communicate with the management team and obtain approval for exceptions from the Director of Operations.
• Respond in a timely manner to resident complaints regarding any issue to assure residents are receiving services that meet Sunshine Retirement Living’s standards. Make recommendations for solutions to the Community Managers or Director of Operations.
• Exercise managerial and supervisory authority in a manner that complies with Sunshine Retirement Living’s guidelines and applicable laws.
• Share responsibility with the Community Management team to respond to emergencies; evaluate resident’s needs, and take appropriate action.

Maintenance/Housekeeping - Canon City, CO

Echo Canyon Campground, Canon City, CO is looking for one Housekeeping/Maintnance couple to work 24 hours per week (12 hours per person) in exchange for a full hook-up (water, electric, sewer) site. 

Housekeeping/Maintenance duties will include cleaning, cabin change over, laundry, site clean-up, mowing, weed trimming, plant care, maintenance projects and other campground duties.  Hours for these positions will be morning hours.
