Resident Parents and Mentors are responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment for up to 8 students in a residence. They oversee the growth and development of the students in their care by helping them balance their responsibilities, interpersonal relationships, and spiritual life. Resident Parents provide a Christian environment through prayer, open discussion and family devotions.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds--including other countries. You can expect to teach them respectful communication skills, time management, and conflict resolution, as well as essential character traits, like honesty, kindness, patience, tolerance, and self-control. Those interested in youth, family and missions will be a good fit for this position.
We have positions for both Married and Single Resident Parents. They work in partnership with each other and with other residential staff to care for the students in their residences. Single Resident Parents work with students when the couples are not on duty and vice versa. Resident Parents regularly communicate with the supervisor to ensure that the students are properly cared for and that NCTA policies are followed. All Resident Parents have a private apartment connected to a house.
Current positions available are for Single Men and Women, and Married Couples.

FEATURED JOB OPENING: Property Manager/Maintenance Couple for Condo Development - Depoe Bay, Oregon

We are seeking a responsible, attentive property manager/maintenance couple to oversee and maintain an 80-unit Condominium Development on the Central Oregon Coast. This position requires tending to and ensuring the buildings and grounds of the property are maintained and well-kept. Excellent customer service skills are a must, as you will interact with owners, employees, contractors, and HOA board members. The purpose of this full-time position is to provide personal, efficient, and cost-effective management of the physical condition of the SeaRidge Condominiums facility. Through either the performance of the individual’s own work, or through the supervision of vendors, the position is responsible for daily property maintenance as well as contracting and supervision of repairs and replacements of the common areas.
Property Management Duties and Responsibilities
- Look after and manage onsite the Condominium Development
- Ensure all necessary maintenance needs are effectively taken care of
- Hire and contract personnel to repair or replace broken items or infrastructure as part of the reserves requirements.
- Check contractor work and ensure it is up to standard
- Engage in beautification projects to enhance the look and value of the property
- Check-in with property owners to assure positive owner relations
- Immediately attend to owner’s questions and concerns
- Deal with complaints in a calm and professional manner
- Interact directly with potential owners, explaining current HOA agreements
- Track, organize and maintain budgetary files
- Ensure bills and invoices are paid on time
- Assist in ensuring property rules and regulations are followed and enforced
- Follow all anti-discrimination laws, local property, and real estate regulations
Property Management Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Supervisory or management experience preferred; previous work in property management positions a major plus
- Proficiency using Microsoft (Word, Excel etc.) and website updating
- Experience analyzing budgetary data
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written
Availability-
• Available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• Available on the Saturday of the 4th of July and Labor Day holiday weekends
• On call 24 hours per day when present to respond to emergencies
COMPENSATION
- Total compensation package per couple of $79,000 (which consists of annual salary of $48,000 based on experience and tax-free use of a private residence including all utilities which has an annual value of approximately $31,000.)
- Use of property amenities including spa, pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and
clubhouse
- Two week paid vacation annually
- Six paid holidays.
